One junior associate gave us wrong information causing us much anxiety. The second junior associate was very rude and disrespectful. He also dropped the ball several times causing my other daughter to do part of his job for him. After the funeral we met with Chris Stewart and he was very sympathetic and listened to all of our concerns and he said would address them with his staff. The second junior associate did send us an apology note. I would use SFH again with the understanding that Mr. Stewart be involved at every step of the way.

The pamphlet being what people have to hold onto about my dad, is all wrong, it's an error that cannot be corrected. My mom paid an ungodly amount for these services and was told, they were busy. The Autry family is absolutely amazing. They are gentle, kind and understanding in our time of grief. They were so incredibly thoughtful. The spent all the time we needed going in to arrangements and making plans, they took care of everything. We picked a time and date for viewing, derive and burial at the grave site, and all were executed flawlessly. My grandfather was a welder and they went above and beyond finding a welding them for his obituary as well as his thank you cards. I wanted to make a slide show but I am an Apple user, so they had me send 13 emails full of pictures and they created a beautiful slide slow for us with music and everything with less than 24 hours notice. Once everything was completed, they handed me a bag. This bag had all my flower tags in it, thank you cards and envelopes, etc. Thank you for taking such amazing care of our family in our time of sorrow and loss.

What made our experience so special at Rader was the coordinator/director that we were paired with, Leward. We came to the funeral home for the first time to view my father's body and to meet with Leward about arrangements and getting paperwork signed. He was able to read the room perfectly. We were all extremely overwhelmed considering we were all in shock, but he guided us with compassion and patience. He explained every step of the process clearly and slowly. He even made us crack a smile or giggle when appropriate. He did not aggressively push any of the funeral home's services or products on us. We explained that we wanted a celebration of life at our home, and he understood and helped us determine what additional support we would need for the event. He texted us to check in on us leading up to, and even after, the celebration, and assured us that he was there if we needed anything. It was extremely special to have the support and kindness of Rader, and specifically Leward, during the most difficult time of our lives. He made the whole process simple and pleasant.
