I just got a super cute haircut from here! Cody was the only one working when I went, but he still took time to explain the cut. He took a little off at a time and make sure I was comfortable with it every step of the way since it was a rather adventurous style for me. I couldn't be happier with my new look. I get really cute haircuts from here! Ask for Crystal, she is the best and also works really fast! Most recently, she cut layers into my hair and I am really happy with them. Their services are on the affordable end for pricing which I enjoy. I didn't give them a five star review because their AC is broken which is a must for a hair salon. It's not only hot for the customers but must be extremely uncomfortable for the hairdressers who are moving around all day. read more

I asked the lady to cut one inch off of my hair. She ended up cutting at least 4. I loved my long hair especially since it was just starting to grow back out and now it's at my shoulders. Nice people but definitely didn't give me what I asked for. read more

Came here for a trim in July but left with a hair cut! I wanted to see the guy who cut my hair when I last went there but he no longer worked there. The woman assured me that she would be able to trim my hair instead. I made it clear that I wanted the bare minimum cut off. And she confirm that she understood. When I asked her how much it looks like needed to be off she showed me with her finger and said about 1 to 2 inches. When I left I definitely lost about 4 inches. I won't be returning. read more

I had scheduled an appointment for 9 AM, and on the day of there was no one at the store even though the hours posted said they opened at 9. I called a couple hours later to ask what was going on only to have a woman laugh at the situation and offer no support other than to schedule another appointment. These employees are so rude and act like it's a hassle to do their jobs. Good luck with your "wait" time. This was the 3rd time I gave them a try and again walked out after waiting 45min. If you enjoy sitting around for 45min while listening to the employees chit-chat, gossip, talk about their weekend plans, and discuss recent Facebook posts, then this place is absolutely for you. The way they treated other customers walking in looking for a hair cut was ridiculous. Worth the drive across town to stay far away from here. read more

I wanted to have my 7-year old's hair cut before school starts. I'd never been to BoRics but my husband has gone there 6-7 times before with about a 50% success rate in terms of liking the cut. But for a quick kid's haircut, just trimming up bangs to get them out of her eyes, what could go wrong? And the whole idea of BoRics is that it's a walk-in's welcome kind of place, am I right? So we walk in on a Sunday at 3:30pm (they close at 8pm) and the woman at the desk asks if I made a reservation. No, I say (because this is BoRic's). "Oh, well, we're all booked up for today." Huh? There was only one other person waiting and one person getting a haircut. Seems like they don't want to keep their posted hours. I won't bother them again. read more

Scott who works here cut my 2 year old's hair and cut his ear in the process. It bled quite a bit. He told my husband that this sort of thing happens "all the time" and he went on to charge us for the cut AND take a tip. My husband being the nice guy he is did not want to stiff him. Now I will have to do a battery of tests because who knows whether they disinfect their scissors or not. Don't ever go to a place that says that they make toddlers' ears bleed "ALL the time". First I have to admit I haven't been here is a while but I just got a haircut somewhere else at some inconvenience and now I remember why I went out of my way to not go here and have for some time now. There is (was?) a male stylist here who always prompted for his patron's workplace gossip. It occurred to me during my last visit that nearly everyone must take the bait and spill out everything going at their work. Sort of a lay psychologist? Heck he's a stranger and doesn't work where at their work right? That was my last visit and I wondered if I had taken the bait at any time with any stylist. I was just here for them to fix the hair color I had done a few days ago, which turned out too orange-y. I made an appt, arrived on time, and walked into the salon. Three of the staff saw me walk in, and did not say a word to me. i had just literally gotten off the phone with one of them confirming my appt, so I knew that they knew who I was. I sat at the chair nearest to the hair cutting stations (so they could see me) and was flat out ignored for a FULL THIRTY MINUTES. Then when another customer came in, they all stopped what they were gossiping about and waved at her and said "heyy, be right with you!". I work in the customer service industry and would never, on my worst day, dream of treating a paying customer like this! I will NEVER go back again and only suggest that people who like being treated like garbage go there. If I could give it zero stars I would. read more
