He claimed on two occasions that he couldn't do the work after noon (the most convenient time for my wife to be home) because it would take 4-5 hours. When he finally did make the repair it took less than 3 hours. He sat on our front porch on his phone and deliberately kicked some of our flowers twice, which we have on video. He also dragged his feet and kept my wife waiting at home for him on two separate days when he knew full well that he wasn't going to return or show up after he indicated he might still make the repair on those days. He also said that he didn't need to make the repair ASAP because we were supposed to have cooler weather that weekend. 0/10 would not recommend to change a light bulb, much less fix an AC unit. After I told him what I'd noticed, he told me what he thought the problem was, but mentioned that if it were more serious, he'd refer me to someone else, because he only does service calls and no longer full installations. He was so kind on the phone and so honest to mention the possibility that the work could be outside his scope, that I asked him to come out to take a look. Will did an excellent job fixing one of my three AC units, and I was very impressed by his…read morethoroughness and accuracy throughout the process. When he arrived, I told him which unit I wanted him to repair, but after checking the outdoor unit he immediately noticed that the capacitor on a different unit was failing--just from the sound it made and the air it was blowing. He then took the time to map out the external and internal components and thoroughly diagnose the issue. He quickly replaced the bad capacitor and patiently tested everything to make sure the fix was solid. He also went back to inspect the unit I had originally thought was the problem and confirmed it was working properly. I really appreciated his professionalism and impressive technical expertise. Will and his team are true HVAC experts, with many years of experience working in climates even colder and more demanding than Texas. BTW - the company no longer works with home warranty companies for a good reason - I had actually called mine last Wednesday before I reached to Airmatics; It took them 2 days to dispatch a vendor, who was unable to schedule a technician to come out until next Thursday...In contrast, Airmatics was very responsive - performing same-day repair on a Saturday.

Steve is the one who kicked loose the plumbing and Steve is the one that refused to repair the damage. Steve also did not even go into the attic to see what the issue was. I went up and found and repaired the fitting that was broken loose. As for anything free, the thing repaired over the years were shoddy wiring that SHR was responsible for and a failed motor that was under parts warranty, but of course they charged for all that. The only free thing they did is give me an overpriced estimate for a new furnace and during which they damaged the drainage, cause significant damage.
