I just want to start by saying this is by far the best Dentist I have ever seen in my 37 years of going to the dentist. I have had traumatic experiences in the past and am terrified to go to the dentist. Dr. Schwartz took the time to get to know me and my teeth and has made my experience so much more comfortable. The front desk staff is beyond helpful and also added to making my overall experience a great one. I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist. Thank you all for changing my outlook of the dentist. Usually no one really likes going to the dentist. I have, unfortunately, had ample experience with them and it's never been pleasant and in fact, really painful. I am very glad to say I am a changed woman now. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Schwark and Summer, along with the rest of the team. They are amazing. Right from the start, they really make the experience comfortable and enjoyable, setting you at ease with great personalities. Setting an appointment with Kathy and Ann has always been wonderful -- they have accommodated my work schedule and have been able to schedule my kids and my appointments at the same time. Very convenient. The office itself is comfortable. There are magazines and a few toys and coloring sheets at a kid sized table to keep the younger patients busy. The treatment areas are brightly lit, clean and comfortable. They have TVs and headphones so that you can distract yourself during the procedures. Dr. Schwark and Summer are both very witty and fun - but on top of that they seriously know their stuff! I have had a cleaning and three fillings with them now. Dr. Schwark made the procedure literally painless. I've never experienced that before. She also did a wonderful job explaining what was happening with my teeth, her plan of attack, and answered my questions thoroughly. Summer is her cheerful and skilled right hand. I've never seen a dental team work in tandem like them. It's like a pit crew working on a race car. You can tell the two of them are well in sync with one another. It's pretty amazing. My husband and two children have also seen them and were highly impressed as well. My son even cheered when he was told he had to come back for sealants. :) That's really saying something when a kid is EXCITED to go to the dentist. I'm really grateful to have found Dr. Schwark and Summer. I actually look forward to my next cleaning now and may even keep the "every 6 months" recommendation for the first time in my life. :) read more

I have only been once, but 5 stars seemed only appropriate. For the first time in years, I actually left my dentist appointment happy and relaxed! Dental Assistant Summer, was welcoming and explained everything to me without making me feel stupid. Dr. Schwark and Summer worked seamlessly together, and made sure I felt at home and comfortable. After a painful dental experience at my last dentist, this office made sure I was content as they worked on my teeth. This is the first dental team I will look forward to seeing again. read more

It had been two years since my last visit to a dentist and one morning while at breakfast I bit into something and broke a tooth. Not knowing who to see, I called Boriotti and Schwark in Bothell and they got me in within the hour. Ended up needing a root canal and they helped to arrange a referral the same morning. By the end of the day my issue was taken care of and they got me in for a for a follow up visit. That was over a year ago and now I'm a regular client. I went into this dentist today hopeful that I had found my new family dentist. When I came in everyone was super friendly and welcoming. I was moved back into the exam room to start the x-rays and new patient exam. Went through all of the x-rays and was just about to start my cleaning when I was informed that they just got off of the phone with my insurance and that they were not a covered provider for my particular plan (even though they came up on my provider search!) I realized we had just taken about 7 x-rays and asked how much that was going to cost me since it is not covered. She said that the doctor has already said they would not charge me for the x-rays since it was a mistake. They were very understanding when I chose to not proceed with the rest of the appointment and pay out of pocket. I am very upset that I will not be able to be a patient here as they handled the situation above anything I would've expected! They even recommend another dentist down the street that I could check out and see if they were covered under my plan! A+ location and staff. Thank you for being so accommodating! read more

Don't be deceived. The other reviews are from when Dr. Boriotti was practicing, and things have changed since he retired. I had a great first visit, and things seemed to go well. But when it comes to payment, this Dentistry is shady. When asked, they assured me of what my insurance would be charged, and then they scheduled several appointments in succession. Only after these appointments did I get the bill, and when I went in to ask about it, the receptionist was deliberately patronizing and rude. It seemed a well-established practice of making things look good, and then making use of the client after they are hooked. Avoid at all costs, its not worth the trouble. read more

My wife and I moved to Seattle about 10 years ago. The first few years we tried 5 different dentists/dental groups in the Mill Creek and Silver Lake area. Finally from a referral from a friend of ours we found Dr Boriotti. He is quite good and so is his staff. We now have a 7 year old son who actually enjoys going to see the dentist! Dr Boriotti's practice has grown to include Dr Schwark a few years ago. She is excellent and works late so I can see her more easily as I work a lot. She is incredibly understanding and also just as gentle as Dr Boriotti is. i am a big wuss when it comes to dentists due to a childhood dentist who didn't believe in novacain. My wife is not and neither is my son. This office gives them the professionalism and care so they will never be worried in the chair as I am. Finally, the staff is also quite good. Summer, Dr Schwark's dental assistant is able to put anyone at ease, Kathy keeps me lined out so I don't miss apts, and also gets me in immediately for dental emergencies. I don't want to neglect all the other staff as they are also very good as well. Frankly given my experience with many dentists in Denver, Colo Spgs, Wichita and Seattle This office is one of the two best dental offices I have ever gone to and the other was in Wichita. One other thing I should say, economically, this office does not find ways to bill one for anything, they do not put you on a "plan" for all your teeth to wring out every last billing. They are out front with all options and just do what is needed, wanted and affordable This office takes care of all our dental needs and i can not praise them enough. read more

I avoided the dentist for literally a decade because of past experiences and my anxiety around going to the dentist. I finally had to go to see a dentist because of a dental emergency about a year ago. I went here on the referral of a coworker and was so happy with my experience. Part of my reserve after all those years was not wanting to go in and feel judged or be scolded and the staff was so friendly and supportive and did everything they could to make me comfortable. I have been back a number of times now to do deep cleanings and fillings and have been so happy every time. I have had different dental techs/assistants and they are all great and do so well putting you at ease. Dr. Schwark is who I see for dental work and my exams and she is fantastic! She has a great presence and is great about explaining what she's doing while making it quick and most importantly...PAINLESS! I highly recommend this office! read more

After moving to the Bothell area, we started our search for a dentist for young children and a dentist for ourselves. Our first attempts led us to a dentist our children were afraid of and another that wanted to replace all my old fillings with crowns before they were needed. A neighbor's referral led us to Dr. Boriotti. He's been with us through toddler-hood to braces through college and beyond. When our sons are out of the area, they use Dr. Boriotti as the gold standard for other dentists. Great staff, good sense of humor, and excellent work when we need it.
