My husband and i were on a short vacation in Paso Robles. On our way to the place we were staying we saw the GMC dealership. I have been wanting a 1500 Sierra Denali for a while. So we decided to check out the dealership, we were from out of town so we were not serious on buying one at the time. After test driving the truck we sat down and talked about how the numbers. We were not pressured in to anything. My husband and i were very happy and impressed with the deal that they were willing to give us. They also were very understanding of the fact we were from San Diego. So they made sure we were completely happy and ready to make the drive the next day in our new 1500 Sierra Denali. Beware of these snake oil salesman! Bought a car 3 years ago from their king city location that burned to the ground and it gave us nothing but problems. That might not be their fault, but when I went to trade it in the new dealership I was working with ran the car fax on it and discovered it has a "branded title" with the actual milage unknown. Now the new dealership will only give me 1000.00 for it on a trade in. Also the car fax reviled that I was the 5th owner of this vehicle and that it was once a rental car. Miraculously when I purchased the car from Borjon the salesman showed me a car fax that said it was a one owner and had a clean title. I am beyond pissed off. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau. Beware beware beware!!!!! Shady people, shady business practices. Stay away from this dealership. After talking with the ownership they still did nothing to fix the problem. All I hot was, "it's hard to find good help these days" as opposed to offering to redo my service the right way. We are new to the area and very happy to have such a great dealership to bring our GMC to for service. Called to schedule routine maintenance and to address check engine light. The receptionist was very polite and the service advisors were super helpful. They were able to get me in the next day. When I arrived they were quick to check me in and get started. I didn't feel like they were trying the typical sales speech to get extra money. Our issue ended up being a warranty and they had everything in stock to repair. We got our car back the same day! Horrible experience here car shopping. Sales manager (John) is rude and lazy. If you're not willing to purchase a car within 15 minutes after you arrive, he has no use for you. I have had two experiences at this dealer. First, I went in to look at a new GMC 2500HD. When I asked the salesman questions about the truck and he didn't know the answer he would just make something up. Not cool. He also focused on trying to up sell me on features that I had already told him I was not interested in such as Nav systems and fancy backup sensors. The dealer also focused on the negative parts of the other brands, rather than the positives of his. I left disspointed. Second, I went into the dealership with my girlfriend to trade in her truck and downsize to a more commuter friendly car. While the salesman was very friendly, he had a hard time listening to what we wanted and instead tried to show us cars out of the price range we had set that didn't fullfill our requirements. When we found the "perfect" car and it was time to talk numbers, the experience turned sour. It fealt like I was in some kind of "old boys club" as the salesman went out to the other room to "talk over the deal" with his boss and then present us the offer. The offer was terrible. If you plan on trading in a vehicle here, do your homework. Know what your car is worth and know what the value of the new car is. Otherwise, clean facility, friendly staff, easy access. read more

Beware - took our GMC Sierra truck for an oil change and inspect the brakes (they were squeaking). They told us the back brakes were good and the front were ok. They said they probably had a little dirt on them, with all the dirt roads that's real common around here, your brakes are good. Brakes did not work almost had a major accident. Checked out the brakes and the shoes were to the metal and the cylinder was blown. DO NOT TRUST these guys at all. Almost cost us our Life. read more

This place is awesome. If you have a GM vehicle of any kind, this is where you want to take it for service and repairs. The service personnel are great from top to bottom. Trent and Kevin are service advisors that are both knowledgeable and personable. They never talk down to you, and always make you feel like family. The technicians are the best. Their hard work and determination always shows in the work they do. If anyone says they had a bad experience in the service department they need to have there head examined. We took our 2012 Acadia Denali in for service on 5/24/18. We had a burned out daytime running light that needed to be fixed. Since there was a warranty campaign on the light, Borjon replaced both complete headlight assemblies. While that would normally be a very expensive customer pay repair, it was covered by the warranty campaign and was free. It's now 6/5, and I am convinced that Borjon did an excellent job of everything including the service write up and the actual repair. We are from Palm Springs, but have not had good luck with the reliability of our local GMC dealerships. We visit Paso a couple of times a year and are considering using Borjon for as much of our service as possible. read more

I made an appointment for a tune up for my 5-year old Chevy Equinox. The day before I took it in, my car started making a funny noise. They did the tune-up, fixed the noise and were able to get quite a bit of the repairs covered by GM. Trent in the service department was professional and kept me informed as they were finding some problems. They have a nice size TV, WiFi, coffee, water and sometimes cookies, (if you get there first before the cookie monster gets them) The Service Advisors are very personable and informative and make sure we know how long we will have to wait. Went there for an oil change. Weeks later, I noticed an oil leak. I checked the leak and found the oil filter was loose and could be turned by hand. I hand tightened the filter and went to Borjon Auto Center to have them tighten the filter more. Borjon Auto Center found the oil was coming from the loose filter and they tightened the filter a little more. They billed me for the service I should have received when they changed the filter during the oil change. I left there paying a $40+ bill for THEIR mistake. I will not be back to Borjon Auto Center for service and will drive elsewhere to purchase a vehicle when the time comes. One star is too high of a rating for Borjon Auto Center!! read more

I highly recommend you NEVER take your car for service at this dealership. I bought a Chevy cruz from this dealer and have been in for service 12 times in the last 2 years for a problem with leaking coolant and it still leaks. Although the service dept is friendly enough it's obvious they are just trying to over charge for unnecessary service. I have paid over $1000 just towards fixing a coolant leak?? They break something new Everytime I take it in and then charge me. I have never not once felt like this dealer stands behind the product they sell. Typical used car dealers out to gouge you for all the money they can. Taking my car to a different mechanic who is charging $60 to replace a hose they just quoted me at $209!?? They even wanted to charge me $16 for coolant to put in my car after it all leaked out after they broke it!! The sales rep was very friendly but I was extremely disappointed with how the dealership treated me when I tried to trade my truck in for a smaller vehicle. My truck is in just as good of condition as when it was purchased brand new, except for a few small scratches along the top of the bed rails. They refused to give me better than "fair" condition Kelly blue book for it, claiming that the couple of scratches brought down the value of the vehicle by almost $5,000. They then offered me less than half what my truck would be worth if I sold it private party. If you do not know the exact value of your vehicle, do not try trading it in because they will take advantage of you. read more

I suggest that you DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BORJON MOTORS PASO ROBLES CA. or if you decide to do so, be careful and consider this, I walked Borjon motors use car lot in Paso Robles. I saw a model year truck on the used car lot with 5,000 miles on the speedometer but no price on the window. The sales man "Moe," approached me and stated it was a $50,000 dollar vehicle that the original owner turned in because he couldn't afford the payments. The vehicle looks solid there's still the new car sent in the air I decided to look into the purchase of the vehicle believing I could purchase a $50,000 vehicle for approx. $35,000. I moved from the lot to the showroom. While there, Moe took me into a room where my back was to the conversation he was having with the Jennifer the owner. Moe was back and forward in and out of the office where I was sitting. I agreed on a payment of a little over $450.00/month, not bad for a $50,000 vehicle with only 5,000. I signed the papers and a day or so passed before I took the vehicle to a dealership in my area. While there, I learned the vehicle I purchased was sold new for about $31,000 and only worth at most, $28,000 because it has to be sold as used. I went back to Borjon and met with Jennifer and inform her of my findings. She said the vehicle was turned in because the first owner said the truck would not pull the loads he had she also claimed she didn't know the MSRP of the vehicle because she's a GM dealer, not a Chevrolet dealer. Jennifer stated that she could only calculate what the price of the vehicle would be, based on the vehicle's features. I asked her to do so and she grabbed a clip board and checks the vehicle out. She wrote a few notes and stated she would contact me later via phone, of course she never called. Jennifer also forgot to mention that she (her family) had a dealership about 30-40 minutes away in Carson City where the exact Chevrolet vehicle that I purchased from her was being sold, so she knew or reasonably should have known what the vehicle sold for or she could have just made a phone call. I returned to Borjon and again met with Jennifer where I confronted her about her fraudulent vehicle sales. I presented her with a copy of a printout for my vehicle and the printout showed the features of my vehicle and the MSRP. During that conversation one statement Jennifer made to me was "I tell my dealers the less they have to hide the easier it is to sale a vehicle" My response to her was, "you shouldn't be hiding anything. I continued to press Jennifer concerning fraudulent vehicle sales and she decided to install running boards on my vehicle and asked if we could be friends if she did so. Really? read more

All I went in for was an oil change and tire rotation, but they said my tires did not need to be rotated on the work order they are checked off good(I know they forgot to rotate them or even look at them. They needed to be rotated badly). I went back for my next oil change and tire rotation I made sure they didn't forget to rotate them this time, but they said my tires were already junk. They said they will not do anything to help me because the tires have NEVER been rotated. I bought the car from these guys used, so if they have an even half decent mechanic he would of rotated the tires on the pre inspection because they have never been rotated in 14,000 miles. Now at 24,000 miles I have to buy new tires. Then they tried to sell me tires for $200 more than the guys at American Tires across the street for the EXACT same tires. I will never return I suggest you do the same. Too bad there is not a zero star, one is too many. read more

Service center is the worst I've ever had. I took my car in for an oil change. I dropped it off at 8:45 a.m. and asked them to check my day lights. I called them at 3:00 p.m. and was told they were not done with it and they would not be done until around 5:00 p.m. I told them I would not be available to pick it up after 4:30. He said that he would take a credit card over the phone and he could leave my keys in the drop box so I could pick it up at my convenience. I asked what the credit card would be used for since I had free oil changes and if the lights needed repair I would want a price before charging my card. He said my free oil changes had expired 4 days ago. I asked him why he didn't tell me that when I checked my car in. He didn't have an answer to that. So I asked how much is an oil change he stated "$59.95." So at 5:15 p.m. he calls me to let me know my car was ready, but they never had a chance to look at the light problem. I asked "so you had my car all day for an oil change?" He replied "I'm sorry there were 3 to 4 other cars we never even got to." I was furious at this point and asked for a discount on the oil change that I had originally thought was free. He said "sure I can give you $10 off, it's the least I can do." As frustrated as I was I agreed to it but in the back of my mind I was thinking he should have given it to me for free. None the less I picked up my car at 6:30 p.m. oh and that free car wash mentioned in a previous comment, I have NEVER been given, not even offered. read more
