I have so many things to say about Dr. Lewis…read more I have been Dr. Lewis' patient for about a year. I originally went to see him about a broken toe. I was so impressed by his office, his staff, and his professional demeanor. After my X-rays were taken by his assistant, Dr. Lewis came in to review them with me. He explained my options, as well as my recovery process. Surgery was a success! Approximately 3 weeks ago, I missed a step, and broke my ankle. I was able to get in to see Dr. Lewis immediately. He made me comfortable (as the pain was excruciating), and put me on his surgery schedule immediately. I, now have pins stabilizing my ankle, and am still recovering, but I'm doing great! I broke my ankle in the midst of this crazy Covid-19 Pandemic, and was apprehensive about going into a hospital for surgery. (Here's where it gets good) My surgery had to be done under general anesthesia. Dr. Lewis cleared the entire operating room while the anesthesiologist intubated me, to keep me safe. He is the G.O.A.T of Foot/Ankle doctors in my opinion.

My wife is petite, she is 5ft 4in and around 100lbs.''DR. GIDEON OBVIOUSLY HAD THE WRONG SIZE HARDWARE (BRACKETS AND SCREWS) HIS CHOICE'S WHILE PERFORMING MY WIFE'S SURGERY!!! Dr .Gideon Lewis used surgical hardware which actually was to big for her foot. These issues were to be observed by another local Podiatric surgeon. The new surgeon who corrected Dr. Gideon's "hack job" stated when performing the surgery to correct everything, that he could actually pull the screws and brackets that were all loose and he could pull the hardware out with his fingers. My wife used a bone stimulator as requested by Dr. Gideon, it didn't help heal her foot.THE PAIN WAS SO UNBEARABLE! SHE REQUESTED AN APPOINTMENT AFTER SURGERY AND DR. LEWIS SAID THE PAIN WAS FROM SCAR TISSUE. WELL OF COURSE THERE IS GOING TO BE SCAR TISSUE SINCE EVERYTHING WAS LOOSE AND WALLOWED OUT FROM DR. GIDEONS POOR CHOICES DURING THE SURGERY. I TRULY WISHED MY WIFE WOULD HAVE CHOSEN ANOTHER DR. his bedside manner is arrogant and condescending. Make a conscious decision when getting any surgery and study all the reviews possible negative and positive reviews.

What a horrible office! We have been coming here for the better part of a month for a foot injury…read morethat my bf sustained, and this review is strictly for the extremely rude receptionist. You can tell that she's been here for awhile, and has completely forgotten how to be a human. You are dealing with real people, various injuries, different ages, and ultimately fears concerning if they are going to be able to walk again. She will scold you if you don't arrive at least 30 mins early (we arrived 20 mins before an appt and she made sure to say that she wouldn't charge a fee cause she's not like other offices), and yet you will have to wait 45 mins to an hour to be seen for maybe 10 mins. They are quick to take your copay, even if you aren't actually going to see the doctor, and when you ask questions concerning after care, the receptionist will cut you off and tell you that you need to accept what she said the first time, or listen better. Don't even try to call, because you'll reach a call center, and no one from the office will ever call you back. The office will even let you know that you're not calling them directly, and if you do manage to get the direct number, no one will answer. We've witnessed the same rude receptionist stare at the phone and roll her eyes. We have one more appt here, & then we are finding another practice. Do not recommend!

Very knowledgeable, competent, and straight forward doctor. He addressed my issues, answered the questions, and did so in a very professional and pleasing manner. I feel in very good hands here. The staff was pleasant as well, however the person at the front desk seemed to be really overwhelmed with responsibilities. Definitely a solid choice for a foot doc.

I had never had this problem in my life and had reached my wits end managing this painful problem on my own for several months. Dr. Mason was very profession and easy going. He made me feel comfortable and relieved my anxiety towards the inevitable digital block necessary to remedy the problem. Being a professional clinician myself, I know too much and was expecting the very worse. At least that was my perception from all the screams of agony from my patients over the years. However, I was very surprised. Dr. Masons technic was amazing minimally painful. In fact, I felt nothing when he excavated the stubborn intruder. So for now on Mason is "My foot dude"! You should make him yours also.

They never had any issues with getting my information correct or losing my information (which has happened at other offices). They were patient and helpful. Their scheaduling and check out were efficient and I actually felt like they cared. The x-ray tech even had a great sense of humor. Dr. Wiernik was brief and to the point. I never felt rushed but I also never felt like he was wasting my time. He was knowledgable and realistic and his assessment of the problem and the time needed was dead on.

I essentially cut every ligament of my leg straight across my shin bone. I had no upward movement on my right foot and after letting it heal two weeks hoping for it to "fix itself" I returned to work and continued on with my life. Two months in I couldn't handle the pain of my feet due to my foot slapping at the ground with every step. I regularly lift heavy objects, had been very active, and constantly am up and down unsteady structures as part of my job. Needless to say I had enough and decided to go to a local Centra Care, the doctor failed to recognize that I had any damage to my leg..once again. I found the Orlando Orthopaedic Center on lee road by chance on Google and scheduled a consultation. As soon. As Dr. Wiernik finished his short exam he said "We need to get you into surgery, like now". I am not one for trusting doctors or wanting to get sliced open, but I trusted this guy right off the bat. A week later I was in their Downtown Orlando surgery center and was highly impressed with the smoothness of the process. Being in a cast for a few months was horrible but it's been a year now and my leg is strong and I'm slowly getting back to the active life I used to have. This guy is golden with what he does. A few months ago my wife cracked her toe under a chair and I took her to his office. He didn't recognize me but treated my wife with the same professionalism he did with me. Some of the receptionists can be kind of snobby but the Doctor is who makes the office and saying you trust someone to cut you open is a huge thing.
