Bo was very easy to work with. He was super cooperative and set the appropriate atmosphere for our wedding reception. We asked him to officiate the event at the last minute and he came prepared. We came up with a play list and Bo was able to accommodate our requests. Bo's cooperative and professional approach to the event was appreciated. read more

Very simply I love weddings, I have 30 Plus years worth of doing them allow me to bring my knowledge of music to your special day, Fun is what we are going to have.

History

Established in 1987.

The Music Factory started as a need to take my musical talents on the road, Friends and clients where I worked were always asking me to perform at there weddings. It was so much fun, we just kept it going. And here we are Hundreds of wedding's later still going strong, with no intentions of stopping EVER. And we are Looking forward to playing for you.

Meet the Business Owner: Bo H.

Music is my passion, I have a degree in communications, from the time I was a child I have loved music. All kinds from Rock to Pop, Country to Swing, Tejano to Zydeco. Any thing with a good beat and tempo. I have played all forms of music and love it all. You never know what I will be listening to, but when it comes to your big day your the programmer. I will ask you for a list of songs and build off of that, what ever the format I will make it AMAZING.

Friends invited me out for a Sunday night karaoke, from the door guy to the rest of the staff, I felt passive aggression but felt like I could write it off due to my anxiety. I was more right than I thought. My friends and I sit at the booth and realize the music happening featured the live vocals of a karaoke singer. We were impressed and were laughing about our surprise. The KJ walks up to us and tells us almost verbatim "if yall are gonna be yelling, do it somewhere else because it's disrespectful to the singer" like we're watching a Michael Jackson kill a rob zombie song when it was okay at fkn best. The singer gets off the stage, looks at us and says "thanks for the applause." I said "hey I think your song was great," immediately responded with "yeah, whatever," to which I said "hey man I'm tryin to tell you we liked your song, why is that an issue?" The bartenders seem hostage, we ended up leaving fast after the fact. I was side eyed for asking for a tequila shot, the only one I ordered tonight. My friend ordered tacos and the shredded cheese on top made Taco Bell look like a Michelin. I've never stepped foot upstairs despite going to scout bar for shows for years, and I only regret I did this one time. If I could leave no stars, reader, I'd pay this website to be able to do it. *PS*, if you're gonna hold the microphone to host karaoke, stop calling your participants assholes before they tell you to hold a mirror up to yourself, you sound like a jackass.

We called multiple times, no answer, no call back. Drove there a few times no one was around. Eventually we got an email back with a PDF rental form, but it wasn't fillable on a phone. Come on, we are on vacation, who is carrying around a printer ?? Replied to the email for help and ... crickets. Tried calling again, sometimes you get voicemail, sometimes you don't. Either way, no one gets back to you. The place itself is worn down, didn't have much of rentals as far as we could see. After two days of trying to give them our money, we gave up and went to another spot 4 miles up the road. They got us set up in minutes with delivery. Not sure if K6 is shut down for the season or just doesn't care- but either way, don't waste precious vacation time here. Do not recommend.

Bo was amazing! He asked us for some of our favorite artists, songs, genres, etc and came up with a perfect play list for our family of 3. He was so easy to work with and just kept the party feeling good, even with a torrential downpour trying to steal our happiness. I would have given him 10 stars, if I could.
