Josh and Jake are a two-man dynamic duo. They efficient, intelligent, very honest and polite. They totally "remade" our small, inefficient bathroom. They tore it down to the studs, moved a window to create a beautiful shower, and turned the room into a functional work of art. And they did it on budget! We hit a snag because my hubby wanted cultured marble for the shower and Josh does tile (as in our beautiful heated floor). We chose a lower bid, (our mistake) and the guys didn't know how to cut the shower window and niche properly. When Josh saw the poor quality work he got right on the phone and let them know (in no uncertain terms), their work would have to be redone! It was all fixed to our satisfaction. Jake was here when they came back to supervise. Josh and Jake do top quality work and don't put up with subcontractor folly. But they graciously bear with clients who sometimes "overreact." They listened and made it right.... One more thing to mention. If you plan on booking these guys do it way in advance. They don't advertise. They don't have to. . Also a "shout out" to Herman at Pacific Kitchen and Bath in Tacoma for the gorgeous vanity top they fabricated for us from a remnant. It's perfect!

I'm hesitant to get the work done by another company as it may void my warranty. They left drain covers uninstalled on drains, a ponding issue that needs repair on garage, the coping installed was incorrect and left a 3% slope in a few areas, water damage repair was needed inside over the kitchen area and electrical weather head supports were not reinstalled. Everything was paid for and these items left for repair have made the home unsafe. This could have been a good job but he left too many details uncompleted. Michael P.

Michael and Ryan were clean and meticulous in their work. Michael also did a great job managing the process of handling the engineering plans, permits, and sub-contractors. In addition, despite all the work they had to do, they always went out of their way to make sure we weren't being inconvenienced by the noise or their comings and goings. We now have a safer and more comfortable living space. Along with the quality of the work, one thing that is crucial in hiring contractors is trust. My original review is below: We hired Unique Northwest Building for carpentry and drywall work to upgrade the interior design of our home. We installed some wooden slats and installed a new door. It's very rare to find contractors who go above and beyond and Daniel from Unique Northwest was one. We are extremely pleased with Daniel's work (refer to photos). While the photos speak for themselves, for those interested in learning more about our experience, read further. From the get-go, we were very pleased with Daniel's responsiveness. Due to Covid and some logistical issues on our end, our request was conducted via phones and photos. Daniel was prompt, communicative and addressed our concerns. We were concerned about project scope as we couldn't conduct an in home visit (again, due to an issue on our side), however, Daniel had scoped it correctly and there were no last minute bait and switches in pricing, which we appreciate a lot. During the job, Daniel went to great pains to understand the details of our requirements and did a walk through the house to made sure he had got it all right. On the job, he was quick on his feet, yet thorough and precise in his woodwork. When necessary, he went by himself to procure the wood and other materials we needed and ensured he had it all right. If there were any issues he found while doing the woodwork, he would let us know immediately to confirm his proposal, and we mostly deferred to his expertise - which he had in plenty. In three days, he transformed our house from a mediocre place to a gorgeous layout. We had some other minor issues that needed fixing in the house (fixing some plumbing), which Daniel took care quickly as well. He had to come for an extra half day to finish some paint work as it needed time to dry, which he did meticulously again. We are extremely pleased with our result, and all of our friends have loved the new design.
