I would give this place a zero if I could. The old guy who runs it is the nastiest person we have ever met! The mechanics might be great but the guy was just rude!! This guy is a real piece of work. I brought my work truck into his business, part of a large fleet mind you, and because of the complicated billing system, he yelled "you f'ng people" at me as I was leaving to go back to the office to call our fleet manager for the extensive maintenance work he was proposing. Everyone in the office told me not to go to him, and I wish I'd listened. They said he was a crook and a jerk, and they were right. Won't make that mistake again. This guy Lee Bosch is a real Ahole. My friend dropped her truck off for a fuel leak. They changed a caliber bolt stating they did a full safety check. Less then three weeks later the caliber came off on a hill going down. The disk was so destroyed that it almost could not be removed. the rim was gouged to the point of needing replaced. they also did something to the other side as it fell apart as well. When she called him she was told that the caliber bolt has nothing to do with the brakes. He then became insulting saying she did not know anything about cars. The fuel leak was never fixed and she was still charged $750.00. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Make sure you don't let a women go in there. My elderly parents were traveling through Northern Nevada when they experienced a mechanical problem with their pickup. I first called the local Ford dealer and was told it would be 5 days before they could look at the vehicle. Fortunately I then phoned Bosch Motors and spoke with Lee. I explained that they were being towed and he said he would be happy to look at the vehicle. In the mean time, I'm calling to make arrangements for a rental vehicle, and a motel thinking it would be a day or two before they got back on the road. To my and my parents surprise, Lee phoned them the same day (afternoon ) and said the pickup was fixed. He or his crew determined the front hubs had gone bad due my parents driving through flood waters the past winter. It's not every day that you receive service such as that provided by Lee and his staff. Job well done gentlemen. read more

My pickup started making sounds I have never heard before one day while I was in Kings River Nevada, and being 80 years old it was very dramatic when the next morning the truck would not go forward or backwards. I had to have it towed the 75 miles into Winnemucca. I had to pack a bag because I had no idea when the truck would be fixed. When we arrived at the shop with the truck I was told by Lee, the manager he would TRY and have someone look at it that day or in the morning. I checked into a Hotel, not knowing how long we would be stuck there, and within 3 hours I received a call from Lee saying the truck was ready to be picked up! I was amazed, and so happy. We checked out of the hotel and had the shuttle take us back to Bosch repair shop. Yes it cost a lot of money, BUT it was such great service, money well spent and both my husband and I was able to take the long drive back to Kings River in the truck that I thought would be sitting in some shop not knowing when it could be fixed. So to make the story have a good ending, I recommend Bosch auto repair to anyone who wants good service, Lee was wonderful and I will always be great full for the fast service he gave us. I hope this place has improved since I was stranded in winnemucca many years ago. I had to have my crankshaft replaced when my car died. When the car was ready (two weeks later) it would not run right and they grudgingly tuned it. When I got home (San Jose) I found that the engine was about to drop onto the frame, the bolts that held the engine to the transmission were all gone but two. There were no nuts on the back of the motor mount bolts (friction was the only thing holding them there). The splash guard was rubbing on the flywheel the whole way home and when I finally looked at the noise is when I found the bolts were missing. read more

Returning to Utah from a California vacation on a Sunday and my Suburban was having some serious sensor issues and a leaking water pump. No one in town is open on Sunday. Everyone else in town said they could get to us Wed or Thur. Bosch got us in Monday afternoon and completed the work Tuesday morning. They not only had all the sensors I needed, they had the connector NO ONE in Sparks had. They did a nice job on replacing the water pump, too. I'd go to them again if having issues in Northern Nevada. read more

I live in California but was passing through, stopped to look at a trans am he had for sale after getting gas. Guy are the counter seemed friendly and told me he would get the owner as it was his car. The owner came out and and looked at me and said "you interested in my car?" I replied I was he said "So you know what they are worth." I told him yes as I own 3 of them about the same yr. He replied "Straight up no BS cash only 10 grand." Was a little high for the car but the prices have climbed lately. He continued telling me that it comes with 2 motors the one in the car and the original. Then he put up one finger to answer his phone. After he was done I asked him if it had any of the emissions equipment on the car. His reply was it's a high altitude you don't need it.....I don't know what that has to do with anything but I let it go. I asked him about the cat and charcoal canister at the very least he tried to tell me it didn't come with one from the factory. He must have thought I was some kind of moron. I told him I live in California and his response to me was then you are done and answered another phone call. I may only be 27 but I know way more about that car then he does. I would never buy a car from him. Rude and tried to insult my intelligence. Same your money and buy else where I'd give a 0 star if I could. read more

Was an overall good experience until they charged me over 100$ to replace a fuel filter. Unbelievable.

I had my engine replaced a few years ago here. When I got my truck back there were parts improperly connected and some not connected at all. One of the sensors was faulty. The check engine light for that sensor was on when I received my truck. Being mechanically inclined myself I wish I would have done the work myself it would have saved a bunch of time and money even with buying the tools I didn't have (which is why I had them do the job in the first place). Now a few years later there is all kinds of problems due to poor workmanship such as leaking gaskets that were improperly installed and other minor sensor problems that i have had to fix myself I would not recommend using them for any mechanical needs. read more

I have called twice and talked to Carlos twice. Both times he was very rude and short with me. The 1st time he actually yelled at me because he didn't understand what I wanted. He doesn't listen, can't answer questions, and is not willing to be helpful in any way. It's like this guy doesn't want to be bothered and doesn't want my money at all. Last week we hobbled into Winnemucca with transmission problems on our 2011 Sierra Diesel truck and 5th wheel. Lee at Bosch motors performed diagnostic tests and determined the Transmission Control Module was the problem. He ordered a new one from Las Vegas and had us back on the road early the next day.
