We didn't have a repair done at Manzo's so I won't speak to that. We did discover a cat in our engine compartment after a motel stay in town. Needless to say we were in a difficult situation with nowhere to turn. I will speak to the character of the three mechanics at Manzo's who took care of the problem for us. They managed to rescue the poor kitten without harm and with good humor. To top it all off they didn't charge for their time or effort. Truly a class act. Told the shop my water pump was going out. They determined it to be my radiator. According to them it was leaking and had a crack. It was never leaking nor had a crack in it. I took it in because it was over heating NOT leaking. They told me $400 to replace the radiator. When I came to pick up my car it was suddenly $950. They didn't even bother to put new rvt on and tighten the clamps/bolts. I had to redo all my clamps/bolts because it was leaking from every spot possible and took it back in to make them redo the rvt. Well guess what my water pump is done not even 2 weeks after taking it in because that was the original problem. They obviously knew this and straight up scammed me for $1,200. We had the inevitable oil cooler failure in our Jeep JK somewhere between Idaho and Winnemucca on our way back to California. Best Shop Ever! Was traveling to Denver and the fuel pump bit the dust on our Econoline Van with almost 200,000 miles on it. Looked in yelp and saw all the 5 Star reviews. I knew I had to go. Called AAA and they even said these guys are the best in town. So got towed and luckily they were able to squeeze us in to an already packed shop. Was able to sit in the lobby with my cat and husband. After inspection, They had to order parts and they wouldn't be in till the next day. So we booked a hotel and Anthony gave us a ride. He's super kind and professional. Went in next day and now Van works way better than it did when we bought it 5 months ago. Plus, they did some extra labor on the Van and didn't charge us. Wow! Our truck had a charging system error outside of Winnemucca and we limped it into town where it finally wouldn't run anymore. We had it towed to Manzo's and they took care of us. What a helpful group of people. I was towing my family 5th wheel through town when my I started having engine temperature spikes. Limped into town over the weekend and first thing Monday morning Manzo's had me come over to the garage to help me out despite the fact that they did not have an open appointments. Our truck broke down on our way to Wells and we had it towed to Manzo's. Elias worked on it most of the next day, and due to a lack of parts in town, was not able to fix it, but thoroughly diagnosed the problem. He was very kind and understanding, and allowed us to keep our truck in his parking lot for a week before I could trailer it home. Pulling out from the gas station in Winnemucca, my A/C fans suddenly wouldn't turn on. I drove on for a few minutes before the 102 degree heat had me uncomfortable and, frankly, a bit scared. I yelped the town ahead's garages and saw a one star review for the one that looked 'general'. So I looked at Winnemucca's reviews and saw Manzo's. I turned around and my experience was nothing less that the five stars everyone else awards him. I got out of the car, went to the counter, admitted I was driving an odd import brand, and he said 'well pull it up and I'll take a look'. Within 30 seconds, he had used his hand to lightly bump the underside of my glove compartment and the A/C fans started up. He explained I'd need to replace the motor soon and wished me a good day. No charge, no wait, exactly the right solution and with immediate service. You won't have the same experience (I hope he charges most customers), but you are going to be at exactly the right place. Great Service Late Friday night our vehicle was towed into Winnemucca NV, after it just stopped running 50 miles from town. Seeing it is a Jeep Patriot (won't buy again), we had it towed to the Chrysler dealership in town. So Saturday morning we go to the dealership only to find that the service department doesn't work on Saturday and it'll be Monday before anyone will do diagnostics on it. So while standing in the parking lot, I look up the street and see Manzo's Garage bay door is open and he's working on vehicles. My wife and I walked over and talked with him, and he said he'd be happy to run the diagnostics on it, but it would be a couple hours as he was really backed up. After waiting about 20 minutes, he comes in and says lets take a look. Long and short of it he finds an air intake leak, tightens a clamp on an intake hose and we're back in business in another 15 minutes. We then drove home over 700 miles to Arizona without a hitch. What a God send! I was traveling home from the Bay Area when 1/2 way thru my trip I lost the serpentine belt. My steering wheel became rigid and I was in trouble. AAA got me to Winnemucca where they recommended this shop, and what a recommendation it was. By the time my truck got there it was late at night. The flat bed was filled with personal belongings (a move). I was concerned about the safety of the belongings but assured that there were cameras and lights on the premises (there were). But the best part was the next morning when my truck was fixed by 11 am and I was back on the road. Even tho I knew the belt was "gone", Manzo made certain the original reason it broke (pulley) was repaired. I was moving from Denver to Reno last week and I got a coolant leak in my truck. Stopped in Winnemucca for gas and lunch and then saw my temp guage had jumped to hot. There was a continuos stream of coolant pouring onto the ground. I asked the employees in a nearby autoparts store about a good mechanic nearby. They called Manzo's garage for me to check availability and even though they were busy, made the time to help a poor stranded traveler like me. Elisa and another guy quickly found the source of the leak and went above and beyond to get me going back down the road. If it wasn't for their help, I'm sure I would have had to get my truck towed 200 miles into Reno. We were on the last leg of our 3,000+ mile camping trip up into South Dakota. We were headed home to California and had to gas up in Winnemucca, NV. After exiting the gas station and making the left hand turn onto the on-ramp, we heard a resounding "clunk" -- and then the truck started shaking violently. We were able to make it to the Winnemucca KOA for the night (Sunday) and searched Yelp for a reputable mechanic. Early the next morning, my husband drove down the street to Manzo's garage and called the number on the gate. The owner answered and, after listening to the problem, told my husband he would be down in a few minutes. He arrived, had the truck up on the rack and the problem diagnosed within 20 minutes -- a broken front axle! The same axle we had replaced just prior to our trip! Anyway, he procured the part and had it installed within four hours!! And all for a very reasonable price. WOW!! Manzo's turned what could have been a disaster into just a little bump in the road.
