He started between 8:30 and 9:30 with his crew member Mark often waiting for him. When I asked Dave about the drip marks and long roller marks he left, he had the audacity to say that maybe Ben Moore Regal changed their formula or I have different drywall in my place that allows roller marks. Below is the last text I sent him (with minor editing for Yelp) Dave, here's to your constant apologies... After you left... I've noticed drips in every room on nearly every wall.. Roller marks in every room Just found huge drips and roller marks in my daughters room and the dining room. Paint in two sinks. Overspray on EVERY single hinge, strike plate, and door handle even after you cleaned up. Three doors don't close after you took them off. Four wall plates weren't put on after you left. I'm the one who removed the fifty wall plates before you came to make your job easier. Plus the condo was totally empty!!! No furniture in the entire house and nothing to work around. You guys left "presents" all over two toilet seats. There is a hole in the wall where you guys tried to re-attach the stair railing under the railing itself and didn't patch. Pencil marks over your top coat of paint under then stair railing. There is paint over spray on the floor in EVERY single room . A drop of paint on the carpet that leads to the basement. Overspray on the light and fixture in my daughters room. Unfinished paint at the bottom of closets where walls meet trim. You stripped the polyurethane off of 6 stairs by placing multiple pieces of tape on instead of one strip over paper. My neighbors told me you guys spent hours playing hackey sack every day outside. Don't apologize, just train your crew, check your work and have attention to detail. You seem like a decent guy, but painting isn't your thing. For the price you charged it wasn't high end at all and light years behind the guys work who painted my house. Sorry dude. Don't ask me for the basement job. I'm still redoing your mistakes from this job.
