Charlie and his assistant removed peeling stucco plaster and re-plastered the walls on the two levels of our 2-flat staircase. The result is smooth and perfect; Charlie is a craftsman! I needed my plaster walls skim coated and repaired. I needed them in good paintable condition. I also needed some new drywall over my plaster ceilings and in areas on walls. Bosco was one of the few contractors that could do both plaster and drywall. I got several quotes and Bosco was very competitive. Ultimately, they did a great job on my walls. I painted my walls when they were done and I was able to see up close that they did a great job. Charlie is the owner and he was responsive on the phone and texting. This guy did a job plastering for part of a contract and left a huge mess. He was later scheduled to come back for an independent job which I had to schedule months in advance. When the time came for him to show up he informed me that he had a higher paying job elsewhere and I was out of luck. I had a new plaster come and told me the problems with the job Boscoe had done as well. They are not trustworthy so go with someone else. read more

He fixed every wall and ceiling in the entire house after they had been partially demolished to have the electric rewired throughout. "I don't have that with me." That is his excuse when you ask him to complete the job to perfection. Who in the plaster business doesn't have drywall and plastering in his/her truck? I needed a small job done at my place. We dicussed the issue with my place and what needed to be fixed. Unfortuantely, he only fixed one of the problems and did not go above and beyond and just put a little (2 inch) amount of plaster in another spot that we discussed. He said that wasn't part of the contract. I almost asked him to leave my place with the tone of voice that he used. I would never use him again. Also, takes a long time for him to be available for a job. However, he does show up on time. He does do a good job as it was completed to perfection. Possibly you might have better luck and communication with Charlie. read more
