HUUUGE Boscov's - wow! Still no luck finding my daughter a requested terry cloth bathrobe though. A Jones of NY one was $94 with 30% off - ehh - NO! Not for a 16 year old on my budget! We had fun perusing and sampling perfumes & colognes before our movie. I wound up buying myself a mushy soft pair of men's lounge pants on clearance for only $4.99! Since we frequent the movies so much here, we'll be returning to "rescue" some things we window shopped for. Always great sales here!!! read more

If I could give them no stars I would do so. A person named "Z" at the Clinique counter is rude and incompetent. I have attempted to have others in the dept wait on me but she's all about the commission, I guess! It came to a head when I asked another girl to help me and she jumped in my face, waving her finger in front of me saying "You don't get to choose who waits on you!" I marched right up to Customer Service and demanded to see a Manager! "Anita" was very apologetic, came back to the Counter with me, had someone else assist me and left. "Z" then appeared AGAIN and started shouting at me that SHE is the manager of the dept and if I don't want her to wait on me, I can go SOMEWHERE ELSE! I went to management AGAIN, Cindy from HR promised to have a Sit-down with "Z" and her manager, Pat Mann. So yesterday I was in the store, asked another girl to help me. Pat Mann began YELLING at me telling me I don't have the right to deal with anyone else BUT "Z" and if I don't like it I can go somewhere else! She also told me that I'm not "allowed" to video their nonsense, called security to have me REMOVED!!!!!!!!!! WTF is going ON at this store????????? read more

On any other day, I would have given this store a five star rating, but after what my mom experienced today, I have to lower my opinion. The store itself is great. As others have said, it's a total time warp in the best of ways. You can pretty much find anything here, from gifts to professional outfits to nice perfumes. At check out today, while I ran upstairs to get a stamp on a coupon, my mom decided to open a Boscov's charge card to save extra on each purchase since we love the store so much. Well, the cashier didn't ask her to confirm her address and the experience spiraled down from there. Apparently, according to Capital One, my mom isn't my mom since she answered a "secret question" correctly on the phone in an attempt to update her address to her current location. Capital One believed their information to be correct, but they actually had wrong data. What? Worse, the Capital One people wouldn't actually transfer my mom to a supervisor. The whole issue made absolutely no sense. The cashier stayed MUCH more patient than I would have in the situation, so props to her, but the department store really, really needs to re-evaluate their relationship with Capital One. My mom ended up canceling the account she had just created, and I know she's now likely to bring her business elsewhere. It's a shame, too. Boscov's was really the only store I liked in the Moorestown Mall anymore. read more

Boscov's is one of those department stores that has been left behind- at least decoration and architecture wise. But, as they say, don't judge a book by its cover. That being said, Boscov's has some great brands, trendy clothes, and super deals. I personally love their selection of Calvin Klein, professional dresses and suits. This was my first time at this particular location. They seem to be all the same. I find Boscovs to be a bit overwhelming at times. The stores are so packed and unorganized. I only shop here when I'm in the market for furniture. I was in need of a new recliner. Boscov's carries good quality furniture and the staff doesn't harass or follow you. I like that! I can browse and test things out without being followed or asked a million questions. They had a beauty of a chair that was recently discontinued. It was originally $800.00 but marked down to $650.00. The guy then gave me a 20% discount and I opened a Boscov's charge for an additional 10% off. I literally stole this leather recliner. Quality chair at an amazing price. When it comes to furniture you can cheap out. I'm very happy with my purchase. read more

I think Boscov's is a great place to shop. A lot of people are sleeping on this store. It tries to have something for everyone. A very diverse selection of merchandise appealing to all ages and tastes. It can be overwhelming at times so when I go its when I am off from work and don't have any other pressing errands. That way I'm there when they open. They tend to usually be stuffed to the gills with product so that can wear you out also. And sometimes some areas get fairly messed up and you need to be careful not to trip over something. But overall you get the same products sold at other stores for less and who doesn't love a good deal! Please give this place a few tries at least if you haven't already...from newborns to seniors they have something for you. read more

Spent $600 on a bedding for my bedrooms. Was promised free haul away with delivery . Not only was that a lie, but they left my bedroom in shambles. Trash everywhere and my old bed frame propped up against my bedroom door so I couldn't even enter the room without taking it apart myself. Left 2 pieces of my bed frame not assembled etc... worst experience ever. Take your money to a store that cares, avoid boscovs. I will be paying off my credit card and cancelling it asap. I've never seen a more complete 80s department store time warp! How does this place stay in business! Every item of women's clothing looks like it was found in a thrift store & tagged with a modern retail price! Is that a full time job for old ladies? Imagine 3 purchasers, 2 launderers, 1 price tagger.... One star because only people who are themselves stuck in a time warp would buy this crapola - actually, if they want to buy icky things that's fine, but they should be buying it from a thrift store. Save money, save the planet, you know. B u t ... 5 STARS for being a time warp and inexplicably staying in business =) Anytime I'm in Moorestown, I *HAVE* to stop in to experience the 80s NJ mall oddity. It's not by any means the only retro place in NJ with such a completely mind-bending effect, but it's one of my faves because of the massive junk jewelry section that is hilariously encased like real jewelry at what may have once been makeup counters... and there are yards and yards of paneled mirrors and tiny bulb lights that will make you feel like you're in a carousel. I clicked one star when I started, but I can't in good conscience give this place any less than 5 stars. I did get a prom dress here and more than 1 summer wardrobe once upon a time. So much sentimental value, so much historical value, so strange, so quaint, so wonderful. Maybe someday I can meet the corporate heads and learn the science behind the magic. I absolutely love boscov's. My go to for on sale jessica simpson jeans and work pants. I love the fit of jessica simpson pants btw! This store is really the only reason I visit the moorestown mall. Check out their home good department as they are always running sales. It actually worries me that they are running sales so often where will I shop for pants if they close? I also really like that it is always super clean and organized! Maybe I visit on off peak hours but it seems everytime I visit there are only a few customers browsing. The juniors fitting rooms are starting to show their age and could really use a coat of paint. The employees are super nice once you approach them but seem to be hiding when you need them. read more

I have been a boscovs shopper since opening day. Very good prices and quality. The only downfall lately is trying to check out. Not enough registers open causing long lines to pay. I went around the store to 6 different checkouts before i could find a employee to checkout. We need to get people back to work if we are ever to get back to normalcy. read more

Great store they have some awesome sales in store, on top of their already great prices. The associate in seasonal was helpful in advising which product was the correct item for the sale we were looking for. We also find a bunch of other great prices. We plan to return tomorrow to get those items after price checking against HomeGoods and maybe Burlington Coat Factory. read more

This place is really cool they have literally everything you could ever imagine and for a reasonable price as well. Think Macy's with a cheaper price tag and this is boscovs which is really awesome. What might be been better is that they have a chocolate bar upstairs with chocolate and fudge and awesome stuff that has an awesome staff especially one dude I think his name was Marcus really awesome explained every thing that they had why some of the cases were empty and was very knowledgeable regardless of that the store it self is awesome it is like a one stop shop for boys girls men and women suits dresses shoes pretty much anything you can think of young and old they sell it here so come by and check it out and don't forget to get some chocolate. read more

This store is a nightmare! The store has no rhyme or reason as far as organization, there's stuff everywhere. It looks like several department stores exploded in in this location and no one bothered to organize anything. The employees are utterly clueless and useless. They may have some good sales, but it's impossible to find a thing. I'm not sure what one reviewer meant by the store having a good selection of designer clothes. As far as I can tell, most of the stuff is no-name brand. Overwhelmed by the piles of junk and underwhelmed by the lack of quality. read more

This is about Men's clothing. I try to dress like a reasonably smart looking older man. Boscov's is inexpensive, seemingly always a useful sale, very good quality for the price. If you are looking for something ugly to get other people's attention and look younger, it is not for you. I can find what I am looking for and when I am there, look around and find other useful things too. read more

You can't expect much from boscovs. Not like other department stores in anyway. You feel they are against customers rather then for. They don't want or try to help you. Just left this location. Used to be a regular shopper , but will not longer shop here, due to unfortunate customer service experience. I went to return a top that was purchased the day prior and apparently the tag and receipt numbers didn't match the size I bought , but matched another size. The lady wouldn't let me return the item . Ironically , she was the one who rang me out yesterday and saw me look for a size large top. The manufacturer must have printed the wrong ticket on the shirt. I asked for a manager , who would only allow me to get a store credit despite me purchasing the item yesterday and the ticket mix up. Worst experience I had at Boscovs. Would not recommend shopping here if you possibly may return an item. read more
