Initially, I used for a large group executive Mercedes transfer vehicle for several hours. Everything was very well thought out, punctual, and kind service. They are even willing to extend and give quotes for extensions if needed even though it was unexpected. I appreciate that. Vehicle was top notch, clean, and had waters. Driver always easily available when needed and ready to go and very good with communication. Then started to use for airport drop off. Very lux service. Picked up with a Escalade always very clean and shiny in and out, driver always dressed up in a suit and tie (nice touch), and they help you with all your luggage on and off. Waters waiting for you after a long trip. Recently, had come back and was at a layover and forgot to set up a pick up and called Mike. He was able to arrange a pick up within hours. I really appreciate it bc after traveling for 24 hrs all you want to worry about is to go to sleep and this was one less thing off my plate to think about. Transit Cab said from Mission Valley it would be $15-18 to the airport, and there would be a 10% Yelp discount. This sounded good so we booked it. Everything went fine, the driver showed up early (it was a VERY early pickup) and was courteous. I was already thinking about the good review I was going to write. I noticed on the driver's window it said the charge was 20 cents for every 15th of a mile ($3/mile) which is very high. Then we got the airport and our fare was FORTY DOLLARS. FORTY DOLLARS for a one way trip from Mission Valley to the airport. I called to complain afterwards and the guy didn't care. He apologized meekly and said something like, "well, they quoted you a price but didn't know where in Mission Valley you were" Bullshit. If I had ANY idea it was going to be that much, I would have parked there instead of getting a ride. And we did tell them where we lived before they gave us the quote. Get a specific quote from these guys before riding with them. It's not so much that it was crazy expensive, but that their quote was SO far off. On the way home we took one of the regular cabs at the airport and it was $2.70/mi which is a bit cheaper. Lesson learned: I'm parking my damn car at the airport from now on.

He told me to call him when we were out of baggage claim. In the meantime, I got a message that a different driver was on their way to pick us up at the new anticipated time. I let them know our original driver was waiting for us. I didn't hear anything back, so I Joe they cancelled that driver. We finally got picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Phew! The driver was super friendly and understanding when we apologized about the situation. Fast forward to scheduled pick up from hotel to be take to the airport at 4 Am. I was texted at 3:30 that our driver was on the way. I stood outside of the hotel until 4:05 when I called and said "hey we were supposed to be picked up at 4 and our driver isn't here" I don't think they remembered. You could see their car on the map that was not driving. Shortly after my call it started moving. 20 minutes late our driver showed up. Luckily we were able To navigate through the airport quickly to make our flight. I am not sure if these issues are normal? We have scheduled Ubers before at 4 AM and have never had an issue. So It's weird that with a premium car service this would happen. I don't know. Everyone we had Contact with was friendly though.
