I let them know our original driver was waiting for us. I didn't hear anything back, so I Joe they cancelled that driver. We finally got picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Phew! The driver was super friendly and understanding when we apologized about the situation. Fast forward to scheduled pick up from hotel to be take to the airport at 4 Am. I was texted at 3:30 that our driver was on the way. I stood outside of the hotel until 4:05 when I called and said "hey we were supposed to be picked up at 4 and our driver isn't here" I don't think they remembered. You could see their car on the map that was not driving. Shortly after my call it started moving. 20 minutes late our driver showed up. Luckily we were able To navigate through the airport quickly to make our flight. I am not sure if these issues are normal? We have scheduled Ubers before at 4 AM and have never had an issue.
