Although it might seem like it would be an intense and intimidating place, the manager Dylon put us at ease (including on the phone). He's a very nice and helpful guy. And as soon as I picked up some of their equipment, it was a reminder that some things are just way easier and better to check out and buy in person, even if you might pay a few bucks more. While it can be helpful to read about a product online, it's obviously a whole different (better) experience to actually hold it in your hand, especially something like weightlifting equipment and with the help of someone as helpful and knowledgeable Dylon to answer your questions in real time.

I ask the salesmen Colten about the bike and he says this bike does not even have Bluetooth! Then I tell him who I am, questioning everything he just said! And I tell him I paid 429.92! They carry new merchandise in brand names like Life Fitness, Hoist, Bodycraft, and Lemond. I just named a few brands, they have a bunch more. If you don't see the equipment in the shop, ask them because possibly they have it in the stockroom in the back or can order it. The staff realize that it is a major purchase and don't pressure folks. They actually encourage folks to test out the equipment. Even though hubs and I have been customers for over 15 years, we tend to take our time making a decision and go back to the shop often to look and test equipment. Often times we don't make a purchase. With that said, each time back, we are greeted and welcomed. No awkwardness. The prices are competitive due the brands. Customer service is outstanding.

He quoted me around the same price as other assembly services in the area but was the only one with good reviews. This machine has lots of pulleys and other stuff that I knew I would mess up if I tried to put it together myself. The manufacturer says it'll take two people about 5-6 hours to put together. He did it in around 3 hours by himself and it was assembled perfectly. He was very nice and professional and did a great job. He even cleaned up after, there were lots of boxes and trash from all the stuff. I've been using the machine a lot since he installed it and everything is working perfectly, he clearly installed it correctly. I was worried I'd hire some random assembly company that contracts out some random guy that day and they would mess it up. It would be a huge hassle to try to get it fixed. It's much better to hire someone who knows what they're doing and not have to get things fixed later. And it was the same price anyways to hire David. Actually a little bit cheaper. From what I could research he's the best person in the area to assemble gym equipment and he did a fantastic job at a good price. So I'd definitely recommend just going with him. However, make sure you plan it out, his earliest day available was like 3 weeks after it was delivered. But I didn't call and ask until a few days after it was delivered. You name it, they've got it. I was overwhelmed with the selection they had... which is GREAT if you want to buy something, not quite as great if you want to sell something because they're in a position to be (and actually, at this point, MUST be) pretty picky about what they buy for resale. Obviously, they're not going to want to shell out $$ for something they don't think they can sell relatively quickly at a profit, so it's definitely a supply and demand kind of thing. Makes sense.
