Tacos were $2.50 like most of the other trucks/stands that I've been to in the area and super good. I also liked that they cucumbers with some sort of salsa on them instead of just plain cucumbers I liked both the cabeza and the pastor a lot, but suadero was the one that stood out to me the most compared to previous tacos that I've had. Def recommend giving suadero a try if you haven't yet! Two of my friends tried it for the first time and liked it a lot. Only thing that would've made it better is if the pastor taco came with pineapple

Sometimes they'd be there, sometimes they'd move, sometimes they'd get shut down by the cops lol. Now they've upgraded to a truck and have actual hours, so definitely check their Instagram before heading over because they post their schedule and specials there too. The tripas extra crispy are FIRE. That's easily my favorite thing here and what keeps me coming back. I usually get tripas and asada, then occasionally switch it up with pastor. The asada is good, pastor is okay, but extra-crispy tripas is the move for me. One thing that puts this place higher on my taco list is the sauces. I actually like all three of them, and not every taco spot can say that. Give me good meat AND good sauces and I'm happy. They keep the menu pretty simple but have things like nachos, quesadillas, burritos and different specials. I've seen $5 tortas and discounted tacos depending on the day. Their aguas frescas have consistently been good too. They used to be cash only, which wasn't exactly a problem considering you're literally standing in front of Bank of America lol, but they take Zelle now too. My only question mark is the portion since moving into the truck. On my most recent visit, it seemed like I got noticeably less meat on my tacos than I used to. I've been here enough times without that problem that I'm not holding one visit against them yet, so we'll see if that was just a fluke. Grab your cilantro, onions and sauces and you're good to go. I've been back plenty of times and I'll keep coming back. Extra-crispy tripas, all three sauces and an agua fresca -- that's my order.

Was in next door and had drinks so looking for some solid good late night foods. Went here and was behind 3 people but it move quite quickly. Typical taco food truck menu I would say but they do have 2 separate bars: one for the sauces and the other is for the veggies and they have plenty of it plus it well clean and well stocked up. Service is nice and friendly, not bad for waiting. Ordered a burrito ($11) with 1/2 marinated pork (which is quite good), and 1/2 with tongue (interesting, not bad but I wouldn't do it again for the burrito, for taco - yes) w/o cheese & bean - basically meats w/ rice and everything else. The portion is quite HUGE, 2 people can finish w/ that for sure. Overall, it was very tasty burrito w/ a lot of condiments, she even gave me grilled onions with it l, which are sweet & delish. Glad that I decided to stop by to give it a try. Will definitely come back for more.

I will say the truck itself is placed at a pretty dark corner of the street with some transient people nearby. Just an observation, nothing to do with the food or service. The service was fast and everything went smoothly when ordering, this place takes card if you don't have any cash. I ordered 1 al pastor burrito, 3 lengue tacos, 1 pastor taco, 2 tripas, and 2 cabeza. The order took about 10 minutes to complete even though I was the only customer. The self service bar had everything you needed, 4 separate sauces, cilantro, onion, radish, cucumber, limes, and pickled onions, jalapenos, and habaneros. I took it to go to eat at home and after the 10 minute drive and walk into my apartment everything was still super hot and smelt amazing. The pastor is some of the best I've had in a while, super flavorful and juicy. The lengue was tender, the cabeza almost had a tallow flavor, and the tripas was crispy. All excellent choices in my book. The sauces were spicy, however, in a blind taste test I don't think I could distinguish between any of them. Visually they were distinct but the flavor profiles were all very similar. Still good salsas overall, but if you're a diehard verde vs roja kinda person there really wasn't a difference in my opinion. Definitely worth trying out, hard to stand out too much with the multitude of taco shops/trucks around, but a good choice overall. Al Pastor has to be the highlight of the meat choices. Also Tuesday they offer 1.50 on a select choice of meats. For 1 burrito and 8 tacos my order came out to a little over 33 with tax, good bang for your buck.

The order process was pretty simple -- I responded to their Instagram story and they reached out with follow-up questions, menu options, and pickup details. The pickup was from a home residence in the city of Garden Grove (off of Brookhurst Street and Hazard Avenue), nearby Pho 79 if you're familiar with the area. The exact address is provided with your order! The owner, Aamir, was very friendly and professional when I picked up my food and the burgers were packaged very neatly in separate boxes. I ordered two smash burgers that included three patties each, which cost $15 per burger. They included caramelized onions and jalapenos, which were a delightful surprise. The patties were a little salty, but upon reading the other reviews, I see that the owner pre-marinates the patty meat. The prices were also steep for just the burger, and I thought my order would come with fries on the side, but that doesn't take away from the quality of the food. All in all, I would return for future orders and would love to see them open a brick-and-mortar restaurant someday, ideally in Garden Grove still. 10/10 rating and five stars all around for a seamless ordering experience, delicious food, and timeless customer service.

The owner is super responsive, and you can tell he wants to provide the best service possible. During this special pop-up event, they were serving two's a tango that features their warm brioche bun along with two halal patties smashed with cheese and carmelized onions on top. The burger itself was massive, with one being more than enough to feed a hungry person. After talking to the owner, he mentioned he pre-marinates his meat, so that could be the reason why the taste was a little salty for us. The sauce is awesome and complimentary, so when ordering, if you don't plan on eating the burger right away, to prevent sogginess, ask for extra on the side. I know some people prefer the meatiness, but I am a sauce type of girl. Overall, the flavors of the burger meshed well! Thank you for adding another place for halal goodness. I'm hoping you guys do well and keep quality up.

This is what they're known for and I've never eaten it until two days ago. I was very surprised. It was really good. The hot dog had a snap. You had your neon green relish, sport peppers, celery salt, poppy seed bun, a few fries in it. I think it was $5 for it. Well worth it. Now I'm actually craving it again. It definitely reminds me of Chicago. It had all the right notes. It tasted really good and now I am a fan. I will definitely be coming here a lot more often. I usually drive by a lot. I'm so surprised that this place isn't busier. If you guys love Chicago-style hot dogs or if you've never had a good one, this is the place to visit. It's definitely top tier in Orange County. Just Hot Dogs is basically a little walk-up shack with a drive-through that's been sitting in the same parking lot forever. Businesses around it have come and gone, but this place is still standing. It's a true little mom-and-pop type of spot. I think it's a couple running it, and every time I've been here they've been really nice. More importantly, the food has stayed consistent. They're known for their Chicago-style hot dogs with the poppy seed buns, but they have quite a bit more than just hot dogs. I've tried the roast beef, which comes with the dip, and their fries are really good. They taste like they're made fresh and I'm pretty sure they're hand-cut. They also have things like chocolate-covered bananas and Balboa bars. I got a chocolate-covered banana this time, they asked if I wanted nuts, wrapped it up in foil and had it ready to go. One little thing I really appreciated was that when I told them some of my order was to-go, they actually asked when I wanted them to make it so it wouldn't sit around and get soggy. It's such a small thing, but that's the kind of care you get at places like this. I've been here a few times now, and the quality has always been consistent. The prices are also really reasonable, which feels harder and harder to find nowadays. It has that old-school neighborhood donut-shop kind of feeling where you recognize that it's just a couple of people running their little business and doing their thing. I hope they stay around for a long time. Places like this are getting harder to find, and I'd much rather spend my money here than at another chain.
