There is great selection for samples, but not too overwhelming and Zeina was so helpful throughout the process. I loved my dress, I had a lovely time picking it out though I had to ask for help a few times during my visit. Later, I realize this may have been because of the budget I set. Unfortunate but at the time I loved the dress so I didn't mind. After covid, I had to postpone my wedding a year. They kept it for a fee for the extra time. I scheduled my fitting with them and stressfully they lost my appointment so when I showed up (after confirming via email a month and then a week prior) they didn't expect me. They were able to fit me in after a very stressful morning and I did get my dress fitted and it was stunning (and, as expected, quite pricey). That being said, you definitely notice how they treat people who bought from the bridal rack versus the more expensive musette side of the store. I don't find that terribly professional and from accounts from others, it seems to be trend for them. If I could back in time, I would not have bought my dress here. The approach by staff and the unprofessionalism of losing my appointment was unnecessary stress, and I never got an apology for the lost appointment, even though I showed the staff the email they replied to confirming my slot they still made it seem like I was the one who made a mistake. read more

Don't come expecting to find a gown if you are over a size 12. After the stylists ignoring my preferences and pulling gowns that were nothing close to what I was interested, they finally told us that the selection for larger sizes are limited to a handful of dresses. Boston Bridal Rack is a hidden gem. It is in a beautiful, open loft space. There are hundreds of designer dresses to choose from. Because they are samples, they are at a deep discount from their original prices. Boston Bridal Rack has expert seamstresses who will do several fittings with you to make sure the dress fits perfectly. And, they will clean your dress as well. While I did not buy my dress here, I had two or three dresses at Boston Bridal Rack that were certainly in the running! They also sell accessories like hair clips/combs, and belts. You can request a fitting room in the front of the store, which is flooded with natural light. read more

I had a very stressful experience with Boston Bridal Rack (aka "Musette Bridal") which included my gown "shrinking" (which in my opinion might have been a scam). Consequentially, I would NOT recommend. I went to the store around 2 months before my wedding, and was thus limited to samples. After a nice experience, I committed to a "Pronovias Vicenta" gown for $1,200. The lace on the top of the gown came off a little but other than that, the gown was in very good shape and I was happy to purchase it. The dress was several inches too long and ~ 2 sizes too large. We had to clip it in a lot. So, I was going to have to alter the dress later. I was told that, because the gown was a sample, it would be sent to a professional cleaning service. I had to pay for the dress in full on the day, but had to leave the dress with them for cleaning. One month after my appointment, the dress was ready for pickup. Luckily, I wanted to try my dress back on when I came. To my disbelief, the dress was suddenly too SMALL and of VERY POOR quality! It was way too short even without wearing shoes (my toes peaked out), whereas before, the dress was way too long even with heels. Moreover, whereas the dress previously had to be clipped around my hips and waist, I could now hardly zip it up. It was so tight that it made me feel very uncomfortable. In addition, the dress was worn down. It was very dirty - grey rather than white. Many parts of the lace seemed to peel off. I got very upset. To me, it felt like I was given a completely different dress - possibly one that was no longer salable due to its poor condition. This was not the same dress I had purchased, and it definitely hadn't been "cleaned"! I felt scammed, and if I hadn't tried the dress back on, I think this would have been the end of the story. I complained. The store manager told me that the dress must have "shrank" during the cleaning. According to the manager, crepe material shrinks when it is exposed to heat. However, I am not sure how even a crepe dress would shrink two full sizes. I made my discontent very clear, and was very upset. I also mentioned that I felt scammed. I was prepared to request my money back, but the manager asked me to give them a week to fix the dress. She said that the in-house seamstress would be able to take out some of the material around the hips, and would be able to press the dress to make it longer again. I was skeptical but accepted the wait. A week later, I returned. The dress on the hanger was beautiful, white, high quality, like new. It was more beautiful and in better condition than the original sample gown. When I tried the dress on, it was again very long, and much too large. I don't know how the dress could have transformed so much. From the first, to the second, to the third dress, I had the feeling that these were three different gowns and not the same gown. The third dress, to my satisfaction, looked like an entirely new dress to me. So, I took the dress home. Even though I received a beautiful dress in the end, I was very stressed throughout. I was nervous, upset, sad. I even thought of moving the wedding. I then purchased a last-minute backup dress from David's bridal which I later sent back. But, the whole process was very taxing. I still am skeptical about what I was told. I do not trust this store. I feel like I was almost scammed, but that I was able to catch it and was therefore given a "the dress shrank" cover story. Concluding, stay away from both Musette Bridal/Boston Bridal Rack! But, if you do end up going there, be skeptical. If you purchase a sample gown, take it with you on your day of purchase. Don't let them do "cleaning". Don't do your alterations with them. Don't leave your dress out of sight. And, if something goes wrong, speak up! Don't let yourself get bullied! Also, they gave me a quote of $600 for alterations. During my wait, I made some calls to tailors. I actually found a tailor (Le Couturier) who quoted $300. And, who knows what might happen when you leave your dress with them for alterations... read more

I wish 0 star was an option. Horrible horrible experience. I hope you avoid this place at all cost. 1. TERRIBLE ATTITUDE: does not listen to customer, do not greet you. I was 4mins late for an appointment bcuz I was having trouble finding a parking space outside.(its boston) when I came in apologized and explained my late arrival, they literally told me to "be on time next time, otherwise they will not see me."eh. planning a wedding is stressful enough, no brides need to be treated with rudeness when they are only 4 mins late! 2. RIP OFF your money in anyway: they charge you for anything and everything! My dress was damaged when I left it with them, and guess what! they want to charge me to have the fix their own mistake. 3. UNPROFESSIONALl: I had to come here for at least 10 times to do alterations because they just can't get it right. its either way too big, or way to small or they forgot to fix sth or they forgot to steam it, blahblahblah.... 4. dropped off my veil here for dry cleaning, and they told me they "could not find my veil." thankfully, they found it later but still. imagine the stress when you heard your veil is missing and you are so close to your wedding date. 5. STRESSFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE. over the past few months, I have been here for at least 15 times. each time, there is a new issue. Getting married and planning a wedding should be an exciting and sweet thing to do. and this place, they can ruin a bride's happiness right away. please, don't give yourself a stressful experience. avoid this place, and go somewhere else. it can't be worse then here. read more

My experience at Boston Bridal Rack was a huge disappointment. When we arrived, we were not greeted, and finally someone asked us if we had an appointment. Once we were brought into the area with dresses, they told us to start shopping and left us alone. No explanation of where anything was. We started to look at the dresses, and the prices were super high, much higher than any other boutique I had been to. I saw some dresses marked at $10,000. We asked if these were the actual prices, since we thought this was a discount boutique. The consultant told us that they were not the prices, but gave us no info on what the prices were. Later in the appointment a different consultant told us the dress I was wearing was 50% off. But later she said it depended on the dress. There were no signs or anything explaining their pricing, so while we were shopping around we didn't know what to pull because we didn't know what would be in my budget. I wanted to start trying dresses on, so we had to go track down a consultant. The showroom was empty except for my group but there was no help to be found. My mom found someone and she came into the fitting room with me. She did not say a word to me and when I got in the first dress, it was way too big, and my chest was completely exposed. I asked her to pin the dress for me, and she said she would do it out in the showroom. I had to tell her no, I want the dress to actually cover me when I go and show a bunch of people. It was just the worst service. They did not pull dresses for me, they didn't say anything about alterations, and all the dresses were so big I had no idea what could actually be altered to my size. The temperature in the salon was really hot, no air conditioning. Getting in and out of heavy dresses definitely works up a sweat, and at one point I thought I was going to pass out. The consultant didn't even acknowledge anything until I actually sat down and felt faint. Then she brought me a warm glass of water. If you are looking to go into a store blind, shop around, and luck into something that might be a discount, then you should shop here. If you are looking to have a fun time shopping for your wedding dress, and if you are looking for a consultant who actually knows how to help you and has a good personality, then do not come here. read more
