Here today! This…read moreUPSP Store is close to my hotel and close to Boston Logan Airport, I frequent here to return my Amazon packages. It's in a horrible location but the staff is nice. The location is horrible because it's always congested, you'd better be handling some quick, in-out business because parking is only 15 minutes per signage. Both times I've come, I've seen a wrecker truck hidden in plane site watching and timing. It's also difficult to get out because of the ridiculous traffic uuug, the way I've learned to handle the traffic here in Massachusetts is do unto others as I would have them do unto me AND simply be patient. What I mean by that statement is, when other motorists signal to get over/out etc render kindness to them. Be patient when needing to turn left or get over and others will do the same for you. I'll play a game with it, I'll say out loud "Who wants a blessing by allowing me to get over" sure as my name is Nikiba, someone will in fact hear me in their head and be so kind ask to let me pass, out etc. Here today! UPS is infinite in its ability to make up ridiculous rules and charges. And, it seems from what I have observed, they exploit their front-line counter staff. You cannot buy one of their boxes and package up your item in their store. You must give it to them so they can package it and change you $20. You cannot bring your box already packaged no matter how securely or nicely; they'll find a way to claim they must repackage it and charge you more. It's not really the $$ that bothers me; it is the principle of the thing. Every time I have to use UPS I leave feeling swindled.

I arrived at 7:30 AM to closed doors, which was bad enough, but by 8:00 AM, they still hadn't opened. Their excuse? 'Understaffing.' Yet, there was absolutely zero notification of this on their official website. This is a staggering level of incompetence. It's not even a question of good or bad customer service--there was literally no one there to provide it. Nearly 20 people were trapped waiting inside, all of them in a massive rush because they needed to mail their items before clocking into work. This chaotic mess is a direct result of USPS's systemic mismanagement. It is acceptable to face staffing shortages, but it is completely unacceptable to fail to update your official hours online. You mislead the public into believing you open at 6:00 AM, post a note on the wall saying 8:00 AM, and then fail to honor even that time due to a 'lack of personnel.' I especially want to give a shout-out to Gio, who was working there today. I needed to print a shipping label, but had to wait a few minutes for someone else to finish printing! I had no problem with this - you certainly can't expect the printing setup to be available every time you walk in. Even if I had been annoyed though, I think Gio's politeness would have calmed me down. He directed me where to wait and thanked me for my patience. Another customer came in who was frustrated about something and he didn't lose his cool. He also calmed the customer down and they left happy. Keep up the good work, guys!
