Great winter menu. Delicious drinks. Christmas themes dishes. Amazing servers. I visited the lounge with my stepfather. We wanted to try some new items on the winter menu. All of the food was delicious and did not disappoint. I was able to try all the items, but the clear cut hands down favourites were.... 1. Smoked gouda and poblanos pepper ravioli. 2. Bourbon bbq chicken pizza 3. Aperol citrus spritz These 3 items blew my mind and I hope they become regular items on the daily menu. The portions were very generous with lots of cheese to satisfy anyone's cravings. The aperol spritz was one of the best drinks I've had in a long time. For just under $9 it was an unbelievable drink and will definetly be my go to drink whenever I go to BPs! What was so great was the service. It was paced perfectly and the food came hot and dishes cleared quickly. I was surprised how quick she did her job in such an unobtrusive way. She was friendly and did her job well but most of all was very knowledgable about the menu. It was a awesome bc alot of the items i tried were all new items on the winter menu. Very impressed. The place was cool as well. Lots of tvs that could be seen from every angle. A bunch of sports and u could choose which one to watch. It was amusing and great entertainment! Despite the place being jam packed, it didnt seem overly loud. I still could have a good conversation without screaming...I hate that about some lounges. The music was set at a perfect level for conversations! Overall, this was a great visit. Food was superb, service outstanding and atmosphere hip, cool and fun! Dinner at Boston Pizza tonight was part of a Yelp event to introduce holiday / Christmas specialty menu items. We tasted the Christmas pizza, the cranberry BBQ ribs and the smoked Gouda and poblano pepper ravioli. BP's holiday menu features cranberry sauce, turkey and stuffing ingredients on most of their recipes, and we loved the food we tasted. Also at the event, local breweries and distilleries were present to present diners with sample of their drinks, including the Situation Brewing. Came here for a girls' night out and was really impressed with the size of the bar. In fact, this may be my favourite BP bar to date! So many seating options including raised booths in the middle of the room rather than against a wall. Loved how many TV's there were and how they were laid out. Faves for us on this visit incmuded the new Rosè smash sangria, Boston Bellini, and chocolate almond lava cake! If you've got Xmas on the brain and are up for a new take on Christmas dinner - try their Christmas dinner pizza or poutine! My husband and I are huge fans of Boston Pizza - it is, after all, a part of Edmonton history! This location did not disappoint. The staff in the lounge were friendly, attentive and made it a great experience. We also had the opportunity to try several items from the new holiday themed menu, which was very interesting. We tried: - The Christmas Pizza: This is essentially a pizza crust topped with the usual holiday favourites, such as turkey, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce. Kind of like the sandwich you might make on Boxing Day with leftovers from Christmas dinner. Filling and satisfying (though I maybe could not eat a whole pizza myself as I found it a bit rich). - Smoked Gouda & Poblano Pepper Ravioli: This was the stand-out (in my opinion). It is really smoky from the inclusion of smoked gouda, poblano peppers and bacon. The sauce is creamy and cheesy. A hearty meal and delicious! - Cranberry BBQ Ribs: I was nervous that this would have a super-strong cranberry flavour, but it was actually really well balanced and not too sweet. Comes with stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables and garlic toast for a well-sized portion. - Chocolate Almond Lava Cake: Warm and sweet, this is a great dessert for sharing! The almonds add great crunch. - Sparkling Cranberry Lemonade: Very refreshing! This would be a great drink any time of year, but is made festive with the inclusion of cranberry. Boston Pizza is also giving out Toblerone bars when you order any of the main course options on the winter menu (which does include other items that I did not try, such as the Christmas Poutine and a Bourbon BBQ Chicken pizza). read more

My family and I were here for the Yelp Elite winter menu sampling. My husband and I couldn't find babysitters, so we hung out in the dining area and got well taken care of. My kids had fun colouring. Our favourite winter menu items were the ribs (slow cooked in cranberry sauce) and the turkey poutine! Who would have thought cranberry sauce in poutine is delicious. The turkey wasn't dry or salty; it is deliciously herbed. Must try! We ordered bugs and cheese & chicken fingers for the children. The kids' menu is always good for $7.99 each; probably cheaper if you got the kids' cards over the summer promotion. The Gouda ravioli was very rich. If you like cheesy and rose sauce with some smokiness to it, you would probably like the ravioli. The Christmas pizza was good; having stuffing on pizza was a bit of a pleasant surprise. My kids were content with their meals and only dug in to our meals when the lava cake with ice cream came. Service was very good. We were very well taken care of. I would come to this location again. Tried ordering over the phone for my family who has covid and can't actually come to the door to greet the deliver driver. I was told they would not accept payment over the phone. Then they told me to go online and order through the ap, once on there it told me no delivery was available. So I called the store back and explained the situation and was told the kitchen closed off delivery so they could catch up on orders. Then I was told it was ILLEGAL to take credit card payments over the phone. Learn your facts that is incorrect. Per the credit card security these are the measures: It can be safe to take credit cards over the phone as long as you follow the right protocols. The most important thing when it comes to taking credit cards over the phone line is ensuring your business is PCI compliant. PCI is short for PCI DSS and stands for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard I Tried pre ordering this morning and couldn't do that, tried again this afternoon and took 35 minutes to be completely dissatisfied with your company. I ended up giving skip the dishes the business and unfortunately due to your terrible customer service I will not be returning. Got the opportunity of trying the new Christmas menu, Cranberry BBQ ribs, super tasty!! The Christmas poutine had some turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce, I think I will stick with the original poutine tho. The pizza was my favorite, it had the right amount of turkey and cheese, the rosemary was a great touch. Of the drinks menu, the blood orange quencher was by far the most delicious drink that I have tried at a BP before! Service was great, the server was soo friendly and helpful. The place atmosphere was really good, music, people, decorations. This BP is located in a very accessible area of Sherwood Park so I'm sure I will visit them very soon! read more

Boston Pizza's new Winter Menu looks delicious but unfortunately I was not able to eat any of them because I am Vegan :( However I still had a great time as I got to see all my Elite Yelper friends and this is always super fun! We took pictures, joked and laughed so even though I could not eat anything, I still had lots of fun!! The waitress was super friendly, helpful and patient. I told her that I was a vegan and she went above and beyond to accommodate my needs which was fantastic! At the end of the day the kitchen was not able to make a lot of changes on what was been offered so I had fries......which were delicious! The featured drinks were YUMMMYYYY so I would totally come back for these fruity, tall glasses, colorful drinks!!! Good job BP's and keep up with the great variety in drinks. Went for an event but unfortunately there were "minors allowed" so our party of 3 which included our baby got seated in the restaurant section. Large. Space with booth and table seating and screens in every corner. Clean and extremely friendly staff ( thank you Ewen and Sarah). When they found our predicament of not being able to join the event at the bar - they were very attentive and provided us with great service. We tried out their tasting menu and I am a traditional of sorts so I had to get my mind wrapped around the fact that my turkey and stuffing were married with pizza. Turned out okay :). The Poutine was delicious and the drinks satisfying. I would give it a try during the festive season. I was not able to try anything else on the Christmas menu but definitely would want to hear other reviews :)! read more

It amazes me how this Boston Pizza on wye road in Sherwood Park stays in business. I would be embarrassed if I was a Boston pizza manager at the Boston pizza on wye road. Hadn't been there in a while because of a bad experience the previous time. Went there last night with my husband because we don't get to go out often. We arrived at the location around 6pm and went and sat in the lounge. When we sat down we waited a few minutes to be greeted, once the server arrived she dropped off menus and we ordered some drinks. Couple of minutes later she had dropped off my water and my husbands beer, at that time we had ordered our appetizers. I had ordered a starter salad and my husband ordered a double order of wings. A few minutes later she had come back so we could order our mains (I also ordered a pizza to go). Waited around 40 minutes just for our appetizers. Appetizers finally showed up so I started eating my salad and my husband goes to pick up a wing and they were COLD. We got the servers attention and we had told her what the issue was so she scoffed at my husband and said what do you want me to do? So she says we could either re-fry them or if we wanted new ones it would be probably another 40 minutes. We asked her that we wanted a new order of wings and to put a rush on it as we already waited 40 minutes for the original order. She told us that she was so stressed holding back tears because the kitchen was so backed up and had allegedly 80 bills in the window. We also asked her how long on our meals and she said that they would probably be another 30 minutes then she stormed off shaking her head like it was our fault. Two minutes later I see a server carrying our main courses. She had dropped them off in a very rude manner, didn't offer us a stand for the large pizza my husband had ordered, didn't bring us the parmesan and chilli, didn't ask us if we wanted anything else before starting she had just rudely walked away. So we had to get our own shakers from the bartender and just dealt with not having a stand for the pizza. The wings had showed up a few minutes later (not 40 minutes ) as the waitress mentioned and were just placed on the edge of the table and the server that had dropped them off once again just walked away. Wings were not a new order of wings as we had asked for they were re-fried and weren't even properly split up, there was more of the Memphis hit then the hot. Not once was a quality check done and our server had not returned to our table for the rest of the night. Finally saw a manager for the first time that night and she came by and cleared our plates and offered to pack up my husbands pizza. Came back with the pizza and asked if we wanted the wings wrapped up so she had brought us a small container along with my pizza to go. Our waitress that we hadn't seen since she stormed off had walked by and asked so you guys want your bill and we both said yes. Then the manager came back with the bill and the debit machine, took my payment and she as well didn't ask how our dinner was which really at this point I was not surprised! She had asked me if I wanted my receipt and I said yes and I mentioned how maybe someone would like to hear how our experience was then she said well I am one of the managers you can tell me so I mentioned everything above and all she said well I'm sorry! That's when I decided I would never waste my money at this Boston pizza as obviously the staff and management really don't care about the customer all they care about is their staff that are making obviously way too much an hour so they don't care about customer service. read more

I attended the Sherwood Park (Ordze) location for a Yelp event to try the new Winter menu. I was not disappointed! What stood out to me the most was the friendly staff. My server especially was very prompt and personable. The winter menu items I tried were the Christmas pizza and poutine, smoked Gouda and poblano pepper ravioli, cranberry glazed ribs and Moscow mule (not on winter menu). I enjoyed all of the items I tried. The Xmas pizza and poutine I liked more than I thought I would, the pizza especially. The crust was thin (but not too thin!) and had a nice chew to the edge, the sage cream sauce was the kicker that brought the pizza over the top. Delicious. It also had rotisserie turkey , stuffing, and mixed Italian cheese and cranberry and gravy to dip. The cranberry rubs were fall off the bone, they were mighty tasty but could use a bit more sauce for my liking! The ravioli was quite tasty as well, not as spicy as I expected. The centre was nice and creamy and was topped with a rose sauce and chicken and bacon (yay bacon!). The Moscow mule had a nice gingery bite to it, I would have this again. Also I had samples from Corkbeard wines, Situation Brewing, Rig Hand distillery ( great Double Double liqueur and horseradish Caesars!), Townesquare, and Analog Brewing. I love BP's... grew up in the Sherwood Park's Wye road location and am loathe to write this review... but it is time someone said something. The word I am going to use is: SAD! After ordering Lasagna both eat in and take out for over a year (yes my family goes there a lot!) we thought we had finally figured out how to have our baked lasagna with actual meat sauce. We always order extra sauce. No matter what, we have had to ask for extra sauce otherwise the lasagna inevitably arrives at the table with dry brittle noodles and one slice of cheese bubbling on top. After figuring out the extra sauce, we continue to go, until the last time, when we ordered it, didn't receive it and then to top it all off, got charged for it. We have also had issues with the delivery where we have been charged for items and then they aren't in the bag. The portions sizes are hit and a miss, sometimes you can count the fries that are on the side of your plate with two hands... or you order a full size cactus cut fries appetizer and there is 16 (yes we counted) slices. Side salads are ghastly and not worth the money. The worst thing is the pizza sizes, when we ate at a Boston Pizza on Vancouver Island, the pizza's were huge, full toppings and delicious.. pizza at this location is lack luster, and lacking in toppings. We started dining at this location because it had plenty of room in the lounge during lunch hours. However, upon the last visit, we discovered why it had plenty of room versus other locations... Upon receiving a meal on a plate that was not clean to begin with, the waitress was discretely given a little wave only to get her attention. When she came to the table, she rudely told my husband to never interrupt her when she is at someone else's table ever again. Recently I had a chance to try out this Boston Pizza with my friends. Based on this visit, the place provided a great experience with only minor slips in quality. The inside and restrooms were clean; the staff was professional and polite. The male waiter suggested specials and gave us enough time to order, checking us out every now an then without being too intrusive. We did not have to ask for water because BP provided us with a pitcher (we didn't request it - they know what to do). The gentleman serving us also had good manners. We ordered BP's Perogy pizza. The pizza was large and thin crust. Classy not trashy with just enough toppings on it. The slices were perfectly sized. It was as good as it gets. No chipped silverware. Parking lot was clean; ample space for parking. The last thing I have note here is that I hit the ground with the bottom of my car when pulling out of the parking lot - the slope is way too steep. 1 Star deducted for having appetizers served at the same time as the main course and the overly steep drive-in. read more

I visited this BP location in Sherwood Park for lunch with a group of 9. They had us seated within 5 minutes. The waitress was really friendly and attentive. They did forget about one of our dishes, however they were very apologetic and took it off our bill. I had the Spicy Chicken sandwich with fries and I do recommend it! It was the perfect split of "Hot and Flavorful". The waitress and hostess did a great job of checking in on our table and making sure we had constant refills on our drinks. If there were issues they took care of them as quickly as possible. I would definitely return to this location again! read more

To put it simply, Boston Pizza is just a classic and easy place to go when you have 0 ideas to what you actually want to eat. I go with my grandparents here at least once every two weeks for lunch because they think they have the best pizza ever, their favourite, in particular, is the pepperoni but they recently tried the vegetarian one to be a little "healthier" and enjoyed it as well. We always get great service and get exactly what we want to from the kind and friendly staff who understand to speak up a bit when addressing my grandparents, which is huge for me in particular so I'm not constantly having to repeat to them what a mumbly, disinterested server had said. They are the complete opposite of that being attentive to all of my grandparent's needs. Even walked in a little late one time on one of the servers helping my grandpa take his coat off! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the place always seems to have this cold uncomfortable draft, not awful enough to make you want to leave but one that gives you a little shiver occasionally. Our food always comes to us warm, and always seems to satisfy. There's not much more to ask for from a restaurant, so if you're ever unsure what to eat, just pop into a Boston Pizza and there's most likely something on the menu for everyone. read more

My husband and I have lived in Sherwood Park for 12 years and have ordered delivery from the Ordze Road quite frequently despite the order accuracy coming in at maybe 30%. We like the Boston Brute with meat sauce and cactus cut potatoes. At least 70% of the time they forgot the cactus dip, without it, basically sliced potatoes. We would phone and they would offer a credit. One time I made it clear when ordering, please do not forget the dip. We got three cactus dips and no meat sauce. Monday night we noticed they are on Skip the Dishes, so we ordered Boston Brute with meat sauce and cactus cut potatoes (with dip, please). The meat sauce did not get delivered again! I called the delivery line, they directed us to the restaurant where I was told I had to call Skip the Dishes. On the Skip the Dishes app, it clearly says the restaurant is responsible for the accuracy of the order, not the delivery service. Anyway, called Skip the Dishes (their phone number is not readily available) and they offered a $5 credit, still no meat sauce. My husband will probably still want to order from Boston Pizza, as for me, I am done with these incompetent fools. read more

My wife and I are right now waiting at Pizza Hut, which is 7 minutes away from this Boston Pizza location at Ordze Road. We got in there and headed to the front desk, where the attendant immediately told us to hold on. We asked him for a take-out flyer and stood there for a good 10 minutes with no one bothering to ask what we needed. A lady came in from the kitchen, looked our way and then headed back. Meanwhile the gentleman who had been at the front earlier was standing nearby doing i know no what, and the restaurant had 3 clients who had just left. We waited another 5 minutes, and then I checked on my phone for the nearest Pizza Hut, and have just spent $35 at the one at 270 Baseline Road. Nina at Pizza Hut welcomed us like old friends as soon as we stepped in. Guess who has a new client and who will never see our faces again. read more

I have not been to a Boston Pizza in over five years, since they were a regular destination on hockey road-trips. So, when my cousin suggested Boston Pizza as a location for our miniature family reunion, I was cautiously optimistic, hoping that a chain I always remembered as being extremely average had modernized their menu or improved in some way in the half decade since I last visited. Unfortunately, the opposite was true. The service was poor and sloppy, from the hostess giving our group the impression that we were intruding on her by entering the restaurant, to the waiter who was inconsistent, to the shattered plate my 81-year old grandmother had to step over on the way out of the restaurant. Sadly, the service was actually the best part of the experience. There is no way around it. The food was extremely poor. My spicy penne was served covering an extremely thick bed of shallots, which tasted like they were coated in barbecue sauce, amounting to a disgusting combination of flavors. The sausage was thin, and of poor quality. The sauce and pasta were equally bland and uninteresting. The nachos and yam fries were equally greasy and poor, and we were not even brought condiments such as ketchup with the fries. With all this being said, I was still willing to overlook this. After all, this is a Boston Pizza, and you don't go there expecting good food or competent service. You go there expecting a cheap, quick, and edible meal. Even this was not the case. When I alluded to the fact that Boston Pizza hasn't changed their menu in a decade, I wasn't being entirely truthful. They have updated only one part of their menu: the prices. The average entree, even for a vegetarian pasta dish, ran between $15-19 before tax and top, and items such as fish or steak dishes were in the low to mid $20's. Perhaps most astonishing of all was the $19.99+3.00 (to add guac) plate of nachos, which was actually on the small side, had almost no meat, and was extremely underwhelming in taste and appearance. I have not infrequently ordered nachos for the regular price of a plate of nachos ($11-15) at other places that has been double the size and quality of these. Our bill for 6 diners, without drinks, came to an exorbitant $166.60. This meal wasn't worth half that. Overall, this was a terrible experience. Boston Pizza as a company is clearly bleeding, on the way out and attempting to milk whatever suckers wander through their doors for every penny, without offering a quality product in return. Avoid this place like the plague, and let this company that is unwilling to adapt or treat its customers fairly go the way of the dinosaur. Do yourself a favor and open a can of Chef Boyardee. You'll be experiencing roughly the same result. Sparknotes: -Heavily overpriced (~200%) -Microwaved Pasta sauce ready in 2 minutes. We don't normally visit Boston Pizza, as we find it has become over priced for the quality of food. However we received 2 "Kids Cards" (one for each of our kids), giving us 5 free kids meals (each). So we have gone a few times. The last time we visited, we were told we were only allowed to use ONE card (we used both the time before, and they even suggest on their Facebook page to use one card per child). The waitress was accommodating, and did allow us to use both cards, but we were not impressed to be told, at the beginning, that we could not use both cards. My kids didn' teat half the meals anyway, because they don't seem to like anything they serve on the kids menu (and my kids are NOT picky eaters). read more

She greeted us with a smile and a very friendly attitude and actually remembered the pizza I like to get, and the beer my husband usually drinks. It made us feel very special and very welcome. I'm not sure why I continue to go to this Boston Pizza. Today was maybe the last time. I ordered takeout through the call centre. I was told on the phone it would be ready in 20 - 25 minutes. I was at the restaurant at the 20 min mark - hoping it would be done early as it was before the lunch rush. It wasn't ready - and it wasn't ready at the 25 minutes mark either (it was a salad and a kids meal). When I asked the manager Katie about it - she said that the call center gave her a time to have it ready and they were only over it by a few minutes and asked rudely if I still wanted the food. If it wasn't lunch for my son, who is now going to get his lunch late, I would have cancelled the order and walked away. Very Poor Service. read more
