The guy offered to walk it down to the Hilton for me. How cool! Not only that but 1) he took the poster board to my booth and set it up AND took photos so that I knew it was taken care of 2) they gave me 10% off for the inconvenience. They have a small store - I fly a flag during the summer on a place that's very windy - it gets shredded every 3 summers. One said he would show up and never did. He was the closest geographically. Craig from Reprographics came by the next day while being the farthest. He communicated clearly and promptly. He took take of every aspect of it including the design and artwork. We waited a few months for the funding grant from the state. But when all was approved Craig had the sign made and installed in the quick time frame that he gave me. It's a beautiful custom made lighted sign that everyone in the area is raving about. Typically I'd expect to walk into a business and be greeted warmly. Maybe a "how can I help you…read moretoday?" thrown in for good measure. Especially if this business was surely losing customers left and right to comparable online services. But both times I've walked into Sign-a-Rama I've received blank stares as if I've showed up unannounced to a party I wasn't invited to. I went to Sign-a-Rama because all the online sign shops were overwhelming with choices and I needed guidance from an expert. Unfortunately, the owner seemed to know less about available banner stands than I did. Instead of an expert, I got an in-person version of the websites I'd seen, except with less information. Newsflash-- If your small business lacks personality and expertise, you WILL lose out to the Internet. Except in this case. I was strapped for time so I crossed my fingers and ordered the cheapest banner I could. They'd have made much more money off of me if they tried even a little bit. Oh well. The banner turned out fine so 2 stars for that. But I'm not sure I'd go back. Go here if you like being stared at awkwardly.

Charlie was incredibly friendly, flexible, and helpful throughout the whole process and made sure I got my wall art with time to spare. First time trying a local print shop and I could not have been more impressed! I needed a 3' x 4'…read moreposter same day and they were able to finish the job within 30 minutes. Although I initially wanted lamination, they couldn't do that day of as they had a large order just before me. BUT they printed my poster on thicker paper and with a beautiful gloss. The colors turned out amazing, and the quality -- I've never seen it in a poster before. Absolutely perfect. Even more, when I printed off my poster, I had some really deep blacks. We began rolling the poster up into a tube -- that they provided -- and noticed the ink hadn't quite dried, and it started to rub off. Edward printed off 2 more just to be sure, let it sit a bit, tried a lighter black and it came out still beautiful. They customer service is 10/10 and make sure you're satisfied with your product. I would 100% recommend and I will always use them in the future. It was a bit costly to do same day and such a big poster, but absolutely worth the quality, service, and convenience.
