I called in for a quote today because I needed a set of 100 business cards printed by tomorrow, and not one print shop could guarantee it or was closed on the weekend. I emailed Anastasia the file and she had my business cards printed and ready for pickup in less than two hours. This was a small job, and most businesses wouldn't bother especially when it was approaching closing time. I can't thank her enough for going out of her way to help me. The prices are also beyond reasonable compared to conpetitors in Back Bay who were asking for $78 for 100 business cards. Traipsed through downtown Boston on a rainy (but warm) day to get to these guys. Needed "velo" binding for an appellate brief, and all the big guys like Staples and Kinkos don't offer velo. Weird. Anyway, I found Boston Business Printing on Yelp and checked out the website. I called just after 830am and spoke with Trent. I told him what I was looking for and he was super nice and said to come in any time and they would do it while I waited. My project was only to make 2 copies of 25 pages and bind them, so nothing major anyway, but based on reviews and their website, BBP seems to work hard to complete assignments as quickly as possible. It was a bit out of my way, but worth it. Trent was very nice and professional. A graphic artist, Victor, was also cool and got the job done. I would definitely bring my business here again, and recommend them as well. As an aside, they are located in the basement and there are two elevators. If you veer right a bit when you walk in, you will see the proper elevator, as it looked like the other one didn't go to basement. read more

Due to a communication error with a colleague, I arrived without the research poster I needed for a convention. The people at this print shop came through with an absolutely perfect and gorgeous product. But it wasn't the final result of the project that impressed me so much. It was the kind and warm attitude they had as I found my way to their shop. It was the way they work together as a team and smiled at each other creating a kind environment that didn't seem stressed out despite the last-minute work load customers present on a daily basis. I have used Boston Business Printing for colorful birthday invitations, announcements and recently for a milestone birthday, having them create enlargements of important photographs, the decor for a 50th Birthday celebration. I came to Boston Business Printing for a small personal project, approx. 150-page book in full color. The print quality was terrible, the price was absurd, and the customer service was nonexistent. If you are looking for adequate quality color printing I would urge you to look elsewhere. On the day I was called in to pick up my book (after waiting a week), I arrived and my book hadn't been printed yet. I explained my issue and the staff seemed confused and indifferent. It wasn't until I spoke with an older grey haired gentleman that I got through to them, had the book printed while I was there (took about fifteen minutes) and then I was charged much more than I was led to believe. Because I was under a tight schedule I didn't have time to go to another service provider and thus am extrememly dissapointed in my experience.
