This same driver refused to listen to directions from the trip leader, regarding where to park, and resulted in the group being significantly late. The pickup at the hotel was about ten minutes late. Far from ideal when we had a strict pickup time to make sure we were on time to get to the venue for photos, set-up, etc. The bus was technically on-site, yes. But it was parked in the rear of the building where I nor anyone else would have seen. I did not receive a phone call or alert prior to departure time that the bus was there. It did not appear until I received a phone number through the charter company. The bus driver was rather rude and then finally pulled to the front. When the driver finally arrived and proceeded to take the most questionable route to the venue. I had my Waze on my phone and instead of the trip taking 25 minutes, we ended up taking closer to 45 minutes. That's now about 30 minutes off our anticipated schedule. No idea why the driver chose to take all back roads after getting on and then quickly off the highway when we could've take the majority of the trip on the highway. The return was the same way. It was late so we didn't hit as many red lights and traffic from the venue to the hotel, but still didn't get on the highway to save time and instead took back roads and then part of the highway to return. About 35 minutes instead of 20-25 minutes. Our drop-off was set for 11:30pm and our pickup was for 11pm. Again, if I could write a zero star review, I would, but everyone please use this as a word of caution.
