We hired an MBT bus to use as our wedding shuttle to bring guests to the wedding and then back to the hotel at the end of the night. We had a great experience with them. The quote and contracting process was easy and they always responded promptly to my emails. On the night of the wedding, they were on time, the bus was clean, and the driver was very sweet. I got MANY quotes for wedding shuttles before choosing MBT. I looked at everything from trolleys to school buses to other conventional bus companies. MBT was by far the best value. I'm talking something like half the price of the next closest company. They do make you pay for the time the driver is sitting idle waiting for the end of the night, but it seems like that is standard across the industry. We had a great experience with the crew and drivers. The staff at HQ were extremely easy to work with, communicative, and prompt with updating for any last minute changes. The buses arrived on-time, clean, and cooled down for our wedding guests on a hot June afternoon. Even when one bus ended up breaking down for a slight period of time, the Company had another bus on stand by and were able to load up the passengers within 15 minutes and continued to the reception. This is not a review but warning about the erratic driving of this bus company. I was driving west on i84 east in Danbury, CT and there were two MBT Transport busses driving VERY fast and weaving in and out of traffic flow. That was the first thing that got my attention but then the driver must have noticed that he needed to move over to stay on 84 east and saw he proceeded to move to the right lane with my car and another driving right next to the bus in the middle lane and with no regard, ran me off my lane into the right lane. Luckily the person driving in the right lane was quick to slow down so I did not swerve into them. This reckless driver had no concern for anyone else except himself and his mistake for not getting out of the left lane exit. I proceeded to see both busses continue to drive at high rates of speed ahead of me. I wanted to see the number on the back of the bus but he was going so damn fast so I was not risking my life or others. No way would I ever want to be a passenger on those busses. read more

Just tried to get a quote for a long way in the future - something easy to do with other companies. The person on the 'help' desk then proceeded to tell me that other companies will alter the price closer to the date because "that's how it works". I then ask if that's how this company works... I didn't want to get into an argument as that was not the purpose of my call... I hung up and will definitely go with another company. read more

This isn't a review; it's a warning to watch out for this companies drivers as they have a complete disregard for human life. I had a similar experience to the below while walking near TD Garden in Boston. Was walking in a designated crosswalk with a friend. The driver of the van was at a standstill about 100 feet down the street, distracted, looking at his lap. Once we were half way across the street he sped at us. We just barely made it to the curb. I have a compressed nerve in my back and a slight limp, so dashing to the sidewalk was painful as all hell. I took a picture of the vehicle. When I did the driver exited and started shouting profanities at me. His license plate number is MA plate 18911. Guy needs to not be driving. I will be reporting the incident to the BPD. The driver of bus #94 on 93/128 interchange at 530 this morning almost drove my company van off the highway. Obviously did not know his exit was coming and came over to the right lane from 2 lanes away just before the exit. They were lined up driver to driver and their driver caused my driver to have to lock up his brakes. I would be wary of using a service with such a reckless, incapable driver. read more

Mbt picked me up from the sheraton hotel in boston with my 2 friends the driver was tony he was very rude rushing us out of the hotel gave us a 60 dollar rate non negotiable which thought was very expensive for a 15 minute ride we were waiting on one of my friends which was stuck in the elevator so tony said if he don't hurry up I'm taking you 2 or leaving.on the way to the airport we nearly got car sick the way he drove like a mental case we were terrified the whole way very unprofessional.
