Ok for those skeptics out there who never used this place, I want to put your minds at ease. Go with Boston tax plus for all your tax needs!!! I first searched them out after trying my own returns on turbotax. I couldn't understand why I owed so much. Then I went online. George quickly responded. I of course asked for a quote. He told me to ask him the right questions, for example, "what can he do for me" I fell in love with that from the get go. I'm self employed and it resonated with my own philosophy for my clients. First, we had a new home bid accepted and suddenly needed to get late taxes done to apply for a mortgage. We used Yelp to identify tax accounting candidates and reached out to six of the best. He was the second to respond, did so within 90 minutes, and was gracious and direct including an estimate with no run around. George is the best of the best. Second, George agreed to expedite our case and managed to turn a complicated case around in a single day. He understands tax law, has great expertise, and achieved a great refund. I found Boston Tax Plus last Wednesday over Yelp and figured to request a quote. George responded to my inquiry right away. I brought my paperwork to his office in West Roxbury on Friday. I wanted someone that I could trust, an honest man, someone who charges a fair price for the amount of work that is required. My taxes aren't difficult by any means but I felt like I was paying for a sense of security by allowing him to handle the calculations. By Saturday morning, I had received a draft for review.
