My 2018 Boston Whaler 15' Montauk experience: The sales process at Marine Max in Massachusetts was very good. We are new to boating and our salesman Steve was extremely knowledgeable and made the buying process enjoyable. The office staff was also great. The people responsible for delivery and service at Marine Max have done a very poor job at every turn: 1) The delivery was unnecessarily delayed a couple weeks and when I took delivery, the bimini top still hadn't been installed. 2) My fuel tank has been leaking for over 3 weeks (when I noticed dead grass under boat) and I am still waiting for a new fuel tank. The boat floor is stained and the fuel tank remains sitting in my yard waiting for the replacement to arrive. They refused to send the new tank to my home despite the fact I have about 8 gallons in the leaking tank. 3) The attitude and arrogance of the service staff was not expected and would prevent me from recommending or purchasing another Boston Whaler or doing business with Marine Max. read more

We purchased our first Boston Whaler in 2023 from MarineMax Venice, a 280 Dauntless. We customized the boat and were able to visit the factory to see our boat in production. Everyone went out of their way to make this happen and the skilled craftsman working on our boat were as excited to meet us as we were to meet them. We were able to see the whole process and how hard they work. The delivery experience was excellent and we spent the entire first day on the boat. Since then we've had many boating adventures from Roland Martin's Resort to Bimini Bahamas. We attended the Boston Whaler rendezvous in Bimini last year and are headed back again this year! The Whaler team is there to engage, listen, and learn from us as owners. We feel safe and comfortable on every trip no matter what the day brings. I got my 1st Whaler when I was 11 or 12 . Just say its been many Whalers ago . Through the years one thing has remained the same . Quality. Not only in workmanship but in the company its self. They have always been on the cutting edge and introduced my family and I to new eperinces. From their group led escursions to the Bahamas to the West coast trips to Captiva. I have owned several Boston Whaler models thru the years, current model I have is a Montauk and a 420 outrage. Have run these thousands of hours, the performance is outstanding. Always a conversation starter at any dock. The finish and the workmanship still after years on the water is well worth the cost. This is brand loyalty at its best. Can be fishing , cruising, just a solid piece of real estate in a big ocean, been thru many storms, none of which I planned, every time safe back at the dock, when your with friends and family that what matters. I love my 15 dauntless! It's great to ride out to the barrier islands and the inlet on the river. I have also taken it in the ocean to Bimini and circled the north and south islands with it!
