This was a lot of fun, and completely on a whim! We were visiting my daughter and new grandson and decided to stay at a nearby resort. Looking for some activities, this came up in our search, so we made an afternoon of it. First off, the captain and crew was comical and they made the experience that much more memorable. We seen turtles, dolphins, and a few manatees! On top of that, we debarked on a small island along our tour, got out, stretched the legs, and took in some amazing views. The Mangroves were a sight to be seen. I can just imagine all the sea creature they give habitat to. We also seen some amazing boats, as well as, some interesting... uh... placement of sailboats. We really enjoyed our guided boat tour on the Indian and Halifax rivers. We say quite a few dolphins which was surprising due to the lower temperature outside. Our guide Jordan was very knowledgeable, layed back and silly. Captain Rick drove the boat safely and made sure to point out and slow down for any interesting wildlife on the way. My favorite part was getting off at the inlet, I think it was called chicken island. We got to search around for shells and they were helpful at helping my children and grandmother off the boat. I wish we had a little more time on the inlet island but all in all it was a fun experience and we made great memories! read more

We went on the dolphin and manatee tour at noon in January 2026 with Captain Lee and Emily. I was excited about seeing manatees for the first time. The good thing was the size of the flat bottomed boat, which was small as tours go. The dolphins were right at the marina before we left, and we saw many feeding in the river while we were out there. About a half hour into the trip we were told the manatees go inland in the winter to warmer waters so we wouldn't see any. I had spoken to one of the men at the front desk twice on the phone, and then again at check in, and no one mentioned this. It was also not stated on the website that there are no manatees in the winter That's just false advertising. The captain smoked while driving, and the smoke wafted all the way to the front seat where we were sitting (he piloted from the back of the boat). There were young children on the boat and we were all breathing his second-hand smoke. It was unprofessional and disgusting. The naturalist told us very little about the dolphins. A minimalist, I would say. The so called "sand dollar island" on which we stopped for 15 minutes had zero sand dollars and only old oyster shells that were growing on the bushes along the shore. We saw one dead 9-legged starfish. There were many off-handed remarks about the rich people who built and owned property on the shore, as well as their boats, all in bad taste and unnecessary. Then, we motored back in land to dock and that was the tour. I have been on many whale watches, and one other dolphin cruise, and this one was a 3 at best out of ten comparatively. My husband and I were looking for something to on a weekend day and on the water when we came across the dolphin and manatee tour by Ponce Inlet Watersports. You are welcome to bring beverages and snacks but they do also sell some beverages (including alcoholic ones) once on board. The staff were great - friendly, knowledgeable and easygoing. The flat-bottom boat is covered (which is a bonus on a hot summer day) and the ocean breeze feels great! We saw a family of dolphins (I couldn't catch them on my camera though), lots of mangroves (I always think their roots are cool looking) and got to walk around on a small beach towards the end of the tour. Although we didn't see any manatees, we didn't expect to due to time of year we went (summer) and we still saw plenty of neat sea life, yachts, beaches, shells, and historic points of interest. My family decided to do the dolphin and manatee eco tour. It's a 90 minute boat ride down the the intracoastal waterway. Our tour guides were fun and really good at spotting wildlife! We didn't see any manatees but say a couple pods of dolphins and many different types of birds. Our captain and tour guide had eagle eyes for spotting the wildlife and gave us some really great facts. We were lucky because the weather was absolutely beautiful - sun shining, feeling the breeze, and watching dolphins jump out of the water. The dolphins definitely know the boat and were totally playing hide and seek with us. We saw a few dolphins on the other side of a sand bar and by the time we went around, the pod decided to cross the sandbar again. At the end of the tour, they stop the boat across from the dock at what is called shell island and you can get off and pick up shells if you'd like. They also provided little plastic bags to bring our shells back. It was definitely a great boat tour and I would do it again. read more

I went parasailing with some friends at Ponce Inlet Watersports in Florida and it was so fun! We got on a boat to go out to the ocean to get into the open space to parasail. Even the boat ride was amazing. It was 3 people at most at once to go and we got up pretty high into the air. They say we can get up to 1000ft into the air but we only got about 500-800ft into the air, but it was still a blast. The 2 guys running the boat were very funny and nice, making the trip even that much more enjoyable. They also have a nice gift shop, where I bought a shirt. Next, I really want to take my daughter there to go parasailing. I definitely recommend everyone trying this at least once in their lifetime! read more

We took the cruise to see the Dolphins and Manatees. The tour guide and boat captain were both terrific. The cruise was very informative and enjoyable. Fortunately it was overcast so we weren't punished by the sun all day, but also luckily there were no thunderstorms to interfere with our afternoon either. We were able to see some manatees poking their heads above the water line and found some dolphins that played around the boat. Went on the dolphin and manatee tour watch. Gave it a high number because it was a beautiful day to be on the water, staff was friendly, offered beverages for a donation and just a relaxing time. Lasts about 1.5 hours. Flat aluminum type boat. Nice slow ride. Then they stop at a beach to let everyone off for about 15 minutes to walk around. We did see dolphins swimming, but not many. I did expect to see them at a closer range then they were, but it was still cool. Once we got on the boat we were told that Manatees are just starting to come into the area as water temps were getting higher(mid March). So we didn't see them. Good for family. Out front is an ice cream shop. Pricey but yummy. read more

Came to Daytona for the weekend with 5 friends. We wanted to get out on the water and enjoy the Florida sun. We booked the 4-hour trip which basically included whatever we wanted to do. First, Captain John took us to a good fishing spot, baited us up, and did all the work every time we caught a fish. Then, he took us tubing (which is what I wanted to do most) for a couple hours. Taking turns throwing my buddies off the tube. (He'll go easy if you ask, but that's no fun lol). We also got to watch a maternity pod of dolphins for over a half hour. Captain John was awesome. My family (wife, 7yo boy, 4yo boy, infant daughter) and I took the Eco Tour. It was fantastic and very informative. We got to see several dolphins, birds, and a bald eagle. Unfortunately, this time of year the manatees move to warmer waters so we did not get to see them. Hailey and Captain Rob were great! They even got all of the kids behind the wheel driving the boat for a few seconds. Hailey was very knowledgeable about all of the wildlife and the are, pointing out interesting things about everything that we passed. They even extended our tour a bit to avoid some "beach graffiti" left by someone at the scheduled beach stop. They were concerned about some of the younger children reading the inappropriate language left in the sand. The double checked with everyone and headed off to another sand bar to look for seashells. If it's still available, I recommend buying the $75 voucher for $50 on Yelp. It ended up costing us only $65 total for my whole family to go. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone; couples, families, and small groups. It was so much fun! read more

What a fun guided tour. This group of people from check-in to checkout just good hearted sweet beach people. Definitely the place you want to use. Fast response when answering the phone or return calls. Notified & accommodated reschedule when the weather didn't permit the first try always with a pleasant attitude. The tour is very relaxed you get to ask questions openly, oooh & ahh at the dolphins. It starts going through the neighborhood with a history about some of the 15 million dollar homes you will pass. One owned by the Domino Sugar makers. They will take pictures for you if you like. They provide bags for you to collect sea shells on the island you stop at the end of the trip. The tour guide explains different birds you will see where they come from & their purpose in the environment which was great information. The dolphins were very active, there are LOTS in these waters so expect to see them. I was really thinking what of we don't see any, but you definitely will. The suggestion is to take a video & do screenshots because the dolphins move pretty quickly. They also have discount cards to surrounding attractions & restaurants so ask for those & were very helpful with other suggestions of things around. They have lived there a long time so they know & we very helpful & willing to suggest. read more

We caught, lane snapper, mangrove snapper, pig fish, pufferfish, flounder, jack, sea Robin, channel catfish, lady fish and we all ended up with fish for DAYS!! So actually finding the location of this place is somewhat of a scavenger hunt. The signs are not that view-able if your somewhat rushing through the turn in main road. Keep an eye out for yellow "stickman" with the red mail box impaled through his abdomen. Sorry, for the PG version... let's just say, the mailbox is on his waist like a fanny pack. My family arrived in two very 15 passenger "church" vans and a Full sized SUV. So plenty of parking space. The office is inside a half house/half gift store type setup. I mean it seriously looks like a giant cleaved the top part of a house off and the a tornado carried and dropped it right on the coast. Well, aside from the comical appearance, inside are typical souvenirs and I guess this is for the jetski rentals, there are some gopro accessories. We booked some sea time on I guess, kind of a pontoon type boat piloted Captain Ron. Ha, but this version was much more pleasant and sociable than the movie version. The ship actually had it's own restroom so need to hold it while out at sea. Plenty of benches so everyone has a place to sit. Drinks such as Bud Light (w/o ID!) and soft drinks were provided by the ship's crew. Captain Ron, took us 3-4 miles out to sea right where dolphins were swimming by before we fulfilled our late grandpa's final wishes of spreading his ashes out to sea. Maybe the wind's died down just at the right time, but the waves and wind calmed while we said our final goodbyes. Just so serene it was almost surreal, like in a movie. So if you're booking a ship for touring or other request's out at sea, ask for Captain Ron. Our experience with him and his crew were favorable. read more

Just had an amazing morning on the water with Captain John. Took my two sons out, age 7 and 9. John was the perfect captain. He's patient and fun and truly LOVES his job! We caught a ton of different fish and thanks to him, we're having fresh flounder for dinner. He knows how to keep everyone entertained- found dolphins and cool birds for the kids and showed me some prime Florida real estate.
