FALSE ADVERTISING HERE AT DAYTONA BEACH PARASAIL. I did not feel safe with the boat captain. We went on a small boat fishing tour in the intercoastal. They advertise that they PROVIDE ALL THE BAIT. Not true. They supplied some squid in the beginning and then later the boat captain told everyone to give him the fish we caught to use as bait. I refused. I'm strickly a release guy. This captain came right up into my face and time after time told me i was to hand in the fish. I refused time and again. He was inches from my face, we're out in the water somewhere and I felt threatened. He did this in front of a 8 others. He was angry and insistant. I thought he would hit me. Finally he backed down but i will never go here again. Not recommended. read more

Yup, yup, yup! My husband and I were on our honeymoon in Daytona this past week and we wanted to do something neither of us have done before. Parasailing was it! I was initially a little nervous that we wouldn't be able to book a trip with such little notice (he and I are a little too spontaneous at times, hah!), but I gave the office a call and was quickly booked for the end of the week. When we were there, winds were pretty blustery, so they had to cancel most of the week's trips due to safety reasons. Totally understandable, and appreciated! The office staff called me the day before our trip and had asked to push us back an hour and a half due to wind conditions in the morning. We were still able to do it, and again, the caution was thoroughly appreciated! Once there, I was so so excited. The little a-frame office was adorable, clean, and super beachy, and the ladies were friendly and helpful! The bathrooms were clean and spacious. Now to the fun part ;) The trip was aaaaamazing! Conditions were perfect. The captain was great. The mate was chatty, hit it off with my husband, and was helpful when we asked questions about the equipment and operation in general. It's always fun to learn a little something on a trip like this! When it came time for my husband and I to go, the mate gave us harnesses, explained what to do, and off we went! I was totally expecting to have to put a little effort into the whole "flight", but it was so so easy. You just get hooked up, sit down, and the force of the boat and the sail just easily sends you up. We opted for the 1000 foot view, and it was perfect. For $10 more, you got to see the beach, the Prince de Leon Lighthouse/park, and the whole of the inlet. It was beautiful up there! If we're ever in Daytona again, we'll definitely stop by and go for another round. Highly recommend! read more

For this being my second time parasailing, I still did not enjoy it. I don't think I will ever be comfortable in the air 500 or 1000 feet above water. However they instructor and the captain are great. If you want an experience like this one, I recommend these guys. They make every trip feel comfortable and safe. read more

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BUISINESS!!! $225 will get you 3 people going up to 800 feet above the water, and while that may sound like a big ticket, it's well worth the experience. My friend and I have used this business twice, and both experiences were great! I wish I could remember the names of our crew, but they have escaped me. Both times we've gotten there, paid, and gotten right onto a boat which I think has just been due to good timing as they do get pretty busy. Our crew was friendly, informative, and fun! We really enjoyed our parasailing experience and look forward to using Daytona Beach Parasail for any of our other water sport needs. Maybe next year we'll go to 1200 feet...who knows! read more

This was my husband's and and 9yr. Old son's first time parasailing. They had an unbelievably fantastic time & what an unforgettable experience! My son will never forget this! I'm beginning to think he's never going to stop talking about it, either! The crew on the boat, Angus & Sunscreen Dan were very personable and entertaining! They went to great lengths to make sure we had an awesome time! We felt safe in their care. They were very knowledgeable and went to great lengths to make sure we were comfortable and understood all the safety instructions. My 6 year old and I had the best time with Daytona Beach Parasail. My son had seen a video on YouTube and decided it was something he HAD to do. This was our very first time parasailing, and it could not have been better. The first day we went out, Captain Mike decided it was not safe to fly. This was very respectable to me because he could have easily put us in the air under questionable conditions, took the money, and went about his day, but he didn't. He looked at my son and I and said if I were his daughter and my son were his grandson, he would not let them fly. He said I was welcome to a full refund or raincheck. Because we still had a few days left and I was impressed with how the situation was handled, we opted for a rain check. Linda offered us a few height upgrade for accepting the raincheck. We came back the next day and we were able to fly. Because of the weight difference between my 6 year old and myself, an employee (Dan) flew with us for balance. Dan was incredibly helpful and made sure my son, who was suddenly not feeling as invincible as he was feeling that morning, was comfortable, not afraid, and having fun. I can not even express how grateful I was to have Dan fly with us. Make sure you take cash to tip your staff on-board. It was bothersome to me that, of the three parties on our boat, no one else slipped anything into the tip jar. They definitely deserve it! This is a very popular place to come while here in the area. The area was really nice as were the people running it. We got there around 11am, and had to wait about an hour and a half to go out on the boat. There was a total of 11 people going parasailing then another 3 people operating the boat. They were very professional and fun the entire time. The only reason I'm not giving them a 5 star review, is because they don't take reservations. So that meant we lost an hour and a half of vacation time waiting to go out. Was it worth it? Yes. Would I wait two hours or more? Probably not. I was told one hour when we first got there, but ended up being an hour and a half. I think they have a total of three boats in operation. read more

Greeted by Linda, she got us set up and gave us an upgrade and a buy one get one free for ice cream from down the street. Mason, Angus, and Taylor was a great team. They were very knowledgeable and informative. Saw some dolphins and a sea turtle. Right there my day could have been completed. Angus is a great Captain. I would recommend this 100 times out of 100. The crew were wonderful and I felt safe the whole time. I had never even flown in an airplane prior to this vacation, but parasailing was something that we had talked about doing for our family vacation. Sadly, my sister passed away in January and she was going to join us. It was a bittersweet experience, but even to see a glimpse of what she is seeing from our 1000 ft view was the most peaceful sight of our week. Thank you so much for such a beautiful view. I have no reference point for parasailing, however I grew up on the water & on boats. The venue is nice with music, tv, cornhole, chairs & other things to occupy the time while you wait for your boat. Go early! We went in at 9:08 and by 9:30 the place was packed! We waited 30 minutes for our boat & it was packed elbow to elbow with adventurers. The crew went over everything and quickly got to work suiting everyone up as we went out to sea. Once out, they explained how things would go and sent the first customers up in the air. Throughout the experience, the crew members were engaging and asked questions. Really made us feel as though we were their only boat of customers. They didn't seem to know anything about what type critters we saw (come to find out after we got home & googled... sharks & cownosed rays). It so peaceful in the air and such a winning experience. Definitely would recommend these folks to take you up up and away... to the moon and back!!! read more

Incredibly upset, working with the bank now to dispute the charge and return my money. My wife pre-purchased tickets as a birthday present and I was incredibly excited to take advantage of it. I called earlier in the week, and was told to call back Saturday afternoon as the parasailing is weather dependent. Great! I had two alternate days for a window to go up. I called back Saturday afternoon as instructed, and told them I had Sunday (any time), or Tuesday (any time). I was told Sunday risked a storm front coming in, and that Tuesday would be best. I would be booked for 10:45, and to come at 10:30. I discussed probably wanting to bring two additional people up with me, and was told that would be no problem. Very specific conversation. Unforgettable - I also had taken notes. Both conversations were with the same person, we'll say Lady X - and were pleasant. Cue 9:15AM, Tuesday morning. I call to re-confirm the weather and my fly time, as well as an additional detail, and was told by a friendly attendant on the phone that I was NOT on schedule but we could work through it. I get blind transferred with no context to the same woman who I had spoken to earlier in the week - Lady X - except this time she's effectively scolding me on the phone, recounting policy, and not allowing me to speak and explain the situation. I had to literally beg her, with increasing distress and agitation, to allow me to speak. She told me she had customers waiting and was obviously more concerned about putting the error on me and getting me off the phone than resolving the situation amicably. I was told, in a very condescending tone, that our entire conversation didn't happen and couldn't exist, I was never booked, and they would have never done so. I finally gave up and asked to speak to her supervisor, and she explained she's the owner. Having effectively planned a vacation schedule around their availability and followed instructions dilligently, I finally lost my cool and said "so what the F---, lady!?" - upon which I was hung up on (fair). I will never speak with these people again, and I'm getting my money back. The owner is crass, rude, and incredibly disrespectful. I deal with many, many service industries in my profession and I've never been so rudely disrespected, talked over, and taken for granted. It takes a whole lot to rile me up, but to be told a very specific arrangement didn't exist, couldn't exist, and would never exist, directly by the same person I had spoken to multiple times before - in the middle of being talked over and talked down to? That is not good business and I encourage you not to deal with such unprofessional people, much less plan a vacation around them. ***EDIT/ADDITION: Comically enough, after calming down, posting this review, and re-planning my entire day with the family, I got a call from Lady X - turns out it's a woman named Linda. At roughly 10:35, she calls me and asks if I'm still planning on coming. Turns out she had my name written down wrong but obviously had the number right - and I informed her that I was the one she had an altercation with around 9:15. I had called in earlier from the same number on file and pleaded with this person to understand she took my number and everything. Linda never looked it up then because she was too busy disrespecting me, and now not only was I upset beyond belief, but my ability to get there on time was gone. I asked her if she had anything to say about the fact that she told me I couldn't have had an appointment, we didn't have the conversation, and it would have never happened. She told me she was busy and had customers waiting. I'll let my bank deal with that loony because I can't stomach speaking to her or anyone over there again. read more

Our booking experience was great mostly due to the friendly staff at the front desk. Once we arrived for our parasail experience, the same front desk staff greeted us and started our day with a big smile. The crew on the boat was also friendly and knowledgeable but they also give you space to chat with your group or enjoy the boat ride. Safety was a top priority and the crew was always relaxed and helpful. Great for first timers, even the 1200 ft level was smooth and a blast. Also they allow ppl to tag along on the boat for about 20$ if I remember right even if they're not sailing. The was so fun! Staff was really friendly and fun (w the exception of Linda the lady at the booth -she's kinda crabby). Prices are expensive but you can bring your wrist band back for 50% off next flight. Parking is tight, but pull in lot and they will help you find a spot (there are more spots behind the hut that you can't see when you pull in.). They let you bring waters on the boat. Your length of boat ride depends on how many fliers are on board. We were on w only 1 other group. We didn't get any pictures even tho they were ready good. They send you up wearing a GoPro and get video too. There was no pressure to buy. That I appreciated. Give it a try. It's down by the lighthouse. read more

The photos and go pro video are quite pricey after you have paid to parasail, and tipped your crew. My advice would be to sell individual photos. We reserved for that day and glad we did, because they had gotten busy. My first time going up and it was amazing!!! I did the 1200 ft., so peaceful and quiet and saw plenty of dolphins. I've been out with other parasailing companies with my grandchildren but never went up because the youngest was too nervous. This time I went up by myself and so glad I did. It was a last minute thing on Mother's Day. This group of people are so friendly and accommodating. They are very much at ease and a pleasure to be out with. My husband and sister in law stayed at the boat dock because they have no guts, but they did enjoy the very comfortable shady area with lots of chairs and bought a drink from the restaurant next to the parasailing company and were very happy to find out they could bring their drinks back to the dock area.
