Once my girlfriend and I decided it was time to replace our roof, we contact a few contractors to get estimates. From the very beginning Done Right Roofing (DRR), was totally focused on customer service. When we received the estimate, we also received several other PDF documents from them including references, color option information, a certificate from the BBB, client addresses where we could see the color options in person and more. The list of references wasn't just 10 or 20 names ... it was more like 400!! It's worth mentioning that DRR was also the least expensive estimate we received. I got a very nice follow up call from Jim to check in and ask if we'd made our decision. Of course we had and booked the date. Jim went over what we should expect and how we should prepare for the day. The crew and materials arrived at the time and they began work around 7:30am. The work went very fast! They finished our detached garage by 11am and the entire job was complete and cleaned up by 2:30pm. We couldn't believe how fast it all happened. There was a "walk around" after the job was completed to make sure we were satisfied, which we definitely were and still are. The roof looks fantastic and we're completely satisfied with everything DRR did for us. As I mentioned in the beginning, we highly recommend them!!

First impressions last and Done Right didn't disappoint ... they actually picked up the phone when I called! A stark contrast to the half dozen other vendors I called. This is a real contrast to their competitors. Within 24 hours the owner, John Mancini, was at my property to assess wind damage. Fast forward another 24 hours and John was working with my insurance agent to negotiate a complete roof replacement! The job was done in a timely manner with a very high level of quality. My yard wasn't destroyed; there weren't nails all over the place and the new roof looked spectacular! The only issue I had was with my DirecTV dish. During the replacement the dish was reinstalled and could no longer get a clear line of sight. After a series of issues with the provider and the placement of the dish due to nuances of my property I had to move on from the service. While this was certainly not Done Right's problem or responsibility they graciously came over, removed the dish and placed new shingles where the dish was to ensure a roof done right! I can't imagine many other roofing companies would do this. Kudos to the Done Right team! Lastly, my wife and I had a baby during our install and Done Right sent us a very nice card congratulating us. How thoughtful is that?! They say you'll forget what people say to you but you'll never forget how they made you feel. Rest assured we will never forget our experience with Done Right and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a roofing company. They are our roofing company moving forward and they should be yours as well.

The pricing structure they described on the phone was not in line with what was offered to me when the company representative showed up to my house. I ended up paying over twice as much as I had thought to get the snow removed because they had a "minimum" price above the square footage of my roof. I had water leaking in my house and went with the price - but they do not conduct business professionally when it comes to providing accurate pricing information. They were also very poor with communication overall. I would look elsewhere for any roofing or exterior needs. Disappointing and I feel like I got taken advantage of by a company that has more than enough money to go around.

After the bad storms this winter, I noticed a small corner of trim had actually come off exposing the sheathing underneath. Fearing water damage, I called Connell Roofing who had put a new roof on our home 12 years ago (that looks as good as new), and did more modest trim replacement 6 years ago. Dennis and John were out the next day, reviewed all the trim around the house that had some damage, gave an estimate, and said they could start in only a week. While our house has sturdy cedar board siding, the trim boards are soft pine, and there were multiple areas of sunken wood consistent with rot underneath. The bad pine trim was to be replaced with PVC trim that will last a lifetime. When the day arrived for repair, Matt Cabral made another assessment and spotted a couple of additional trim areas that could be seen to need replacement now that all the snow was gone. Additionally he spotted that the chimney flashing needed replacement, and kept an eye on things as the work progressed. The team did a fantastic job removing the damaged pine trim and replacing it with the new PVC trim. It was clear they were experts and highly efficient. They were very careful not to damage the many trees and bushes around the house. When they left there was not even a nail on the ground! Thank you!

we had a 25 year old regular shingle roof. as we are getting older and ice dams are getting worse…read morewe decided on a new roof. looking at all options , we decided on metal. comparing standing seam and the metal shingle, we chose the metal shingle. Sales guy was very informative and not pushy. the quote was actually lower than I had expected, and that doesnt happen often. signed that day. true to contract they arrived at 7 am, ready to work. the house was covered in tarps to collect the old roof debris. If you don't know, a metal shingle roof must be nailed by hand, no nail guns and random nails here there and everywhere. it's labor intensive. the shingles lock together unlike a regular asphalt one. zero chance of wind lifting them up, each one attaches to its neighbors and interlocks. they added roof vents as we have no ridge vent. I gotta say, it's a flawless job. seriously. I'm not being paid to say this. never trust people that do. they cleaned up every day. heck, my back deck has never looked cleaner. it's a flawless install with snow angels above each door so the snow doesn't slide off and block the doorway. clean professional, on time, hard workers, 12 hour days. 3 days total. dumpster filled and removed. nothing left but a nice clean STRAIGHT roof and a yard sign that I'm proud to display. Get a few quotes,,, but you will choose these guys in the end if you understand value for money. If only every thing was this good. 100% happy.

When I called to ask why no one arrived, the response I received was dismissive, as if my call were an inconvenience rather than a legitimate question. I'm actually glad they never showed. If a company can't manage a simple appointment, how could they possibly handle a major project worth tens of thousands of dollars, on schedule and with professionalism? We were also having them replace a skylight over our addition. The skylight had leaked off an on since it was installed 20 years ago. It had been looked at by several companies over the years and no one could provide a solution . The skylight replacement was a problem because they could not find a replacement to fit the measurements. The guys came out several times. A couple of days ago, Elmer came out and spent some time making noise on the roof. When he finished, he said that the skylight would not leak anymore and that there was NO CHARGE for all the work they had done. As it turns out, the skylight had been installed incorrectly which is why the measurements were off. Elmer took it apart, figured out the problem and reinstalled it the right way. I repeat, NO CHARGE, event though we agreed to pay over $1,000 for a new skylight. He said he wouldn't do a job that was not needed. Yesterday we had a torrential rain and there were no leaks! I asked Elmer if he was the boss and he answered modestly that he was a "team member." In fact, he is the owner of Egama. Egama is an excellent, reasonably priced roofing company. Most important it is run with honesty and integrity!
