Dishonest, unprofessional, rude and careless with other people's money…read more I consigned over 300 of vintage clothing with Denise Ryan Auction in early July 2022. I lost money on almost everything I consigned with her. She lied about how quickly she'd sell my items to entice me to consign. It was supposed to take two months- over a year later she still hadn't sold everything. She did not keep an inventory of the items I consigned. She lost items and parts of items. When she did sell items at auction she often described and photographed them incorrectly, which cost me money as they did not achieve the price they should have. The invoices and payments after an auction were often late and incorrect. She crossed out and wrote over the invoices and calculated the payments by hand rather than going with the auction platform invoice printout. After a year I requested she return the unsold items and pay me for a dress she sold and never paid me for. It took three months and I had to contact her over ten times to get her to pay me and return the items. When I finally received them it came as no surprise that I did not receive all of the unsold items, and that two bikinis were returned without the tops. I guess they got lost in her studio. Now they have no resale value. Once again Denise cost me money. I am truly disgusted at the lack of integrity and professionalism.
