Yes, it was my fault, however when I tried to text a modification of time or day I was summarily shut down and told it's another 200.fee- in addition to the 150 fee I had paid for a consultation. I was within the 48 hour period of time to alter my appointment. 350.00 later with no treatment and a conversation that was completely unyielding of an any compromise later, I walked away from the salon without a compromise. It was harsh. But nothing would persuade this technician from charging me the additional 200. for my clumsiness. This is not the same person I had do my facial before. It feels bad, its callous and mercenary that she took 350. on my stored credit card against my wishes telling me she has the right to do so while I protested. I understand the need for small businesses to protect themselves from cancellations, I'm the general manager of a local hotel, but there are times when we listen to people and we apply a more nuanced view of the situation. I do not care for the new attitude of this spa. I will recommend people choose other salons in town.
