First off, CASH ONLY!!! But it's worth going to your nearest atm I promise. Small but very clean space. The people are always welcoming and willing to answer any questions you might have. I love their: tostilocos, churros, fresas con crema, agua de limon y naranja. I've taken coworkers and they have liked their escamocha and turkey sandwiches.

Bad Customer service. I called around 6:32pm to confirm they were going to be open and they did not answer. I told them I had called them and they say they don't answer their phone after 6:30pm. I arrived at 6:45pm and they said they were closed, when google shows they closed at 6:55pm. Mal servicio al cliente. This is my go to Mexican fruit bar in City Heights as I have tried their chamango, frescas con crema (strawberries w/ cream) & their fruit salad with limon, tajin and chamoy. Prices are now $5 & up for most items. Only CON about this place is parking, if you live around the area, walking is probably the best option. Other than that, give this fabulous fruit bar a try, you won't regret it! read more

This spot is a must go! Heads up though they're cash only but they have an ATM. Escamochas and chicken sandwiches are the best ! Parking isn't the best but not many places in City Heights have great parking. Been coming here for years and will probably be coming for more. Staff and owner are always very courteous and friendly. read more

Had their tostilocos w/ everything & fresas con cream. Sososososo good! I can't believe how big the tostilocos were. The prices weren't all that bad, a little more than I expected but Im so used to buying tostilocos in mexico or from a cart. I didn't like the tostilocos much, there was just too much of everything except chips lol. But everyone else in my house loved them. read more

Affordable prices! Tostilocos are only $5, and it comes with plenty of cucumbers and jicama. Waiting time is totally worth it! =D Cash only. Parts of the menu are in Spanish so if you don't understand what something is, make sure to ask. Parking is REALLY limited and the parking lot is also compact. read more

This little fruit bar is a hole in the wall, but so good! They also have sandwiches, I tried the chicken sandwich and it was quite tasty it was on a Bollio roll with cheese, jalapenos, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, it came with a side of salsa. The sandwich was 5 bucks, a nice change from Subway. I also tried their smoothies, the Tropical smoothie was fantastic. I have to go back to try their parfaits and fruit bowls but so far, I am liking this little fruit bar. read more

So i happen to stumble on this place because my friend lives near this place, it was delish. My friend got the escamocha and we shared it. Its a bunch of fruit with condensed milk topped with nuts and coconut i believe. It really hit the sweet spot. read more

We ended up ordering a variety of things to try for our family of four: the table side Caesar salad, the Steak Sampler, a Filet, Lobster, Mashed Potatoes, Mac and Cheese, and Truffle Fries - we loved it all! Perfectly cooked and everything we wanted it to be! We were so full, but after viewing the dessert cart all night, we had to try some! The most decadent, delicious, chocolate, layered cake was our pick. As we were waiting tho, we saw the table side banana foster dessert being made and had to order that too! No regrets!! It was all perfect!! They also kindly brought us out a really good peanut butter and jelly macron, but the star was that it was topped with a gold dusted Wu Tang emblem on top - LOVE!! PS - even the bathrooms were fun! I really look forward to trying more of their restaurants!

We only had to wait 30 minutes to be seated which was a lot better than 2 hours. Little did we know, it would take a whole hour for us to get our food. We honestly could've waited the 2 hours for Morning Glory and gotten our food at the same time if not earlier. The restaurant wasn't packed with customers but they were definitely short staffed or something because there were two couples sitting next to us who were also waiting for their food. One couple was ready to leave when their food came out at that exact moment. The servers did apologize and told us that they were having issues with the kitchen. They also offered us all free orange juice. However, if they knew they were having issues with the kitchen then they should've told us earlier before we got seated so people could go elsewhere rather than waiting an hour for their food. Overall, service here was very poor. In terms of food, it was unfortunately pretty good but not worth the wait. I really liked the simple toast with matcha cream on top as well as the curry hamburg. My friend ordered the shakshuka (not pictured because it came last and everyone just wanted to eat at that point) which was also pretty good. For the avocado toast, the toast was too hard so I wouldn't recommend it. We also ordered a yuzu and matcha yuzu mimosa. Both tasted like yuzu. The matcha yuzu one was basically a green yuzu mimosa. They have a vero water purification system so their water was really good lol.

This has always been my go to fruit bar in City Heights. I always get the Strawberries and Cream and they are amazing! They have the best fruit and it is always so fresh. They have a variety of foods to choose from, from Ice-Cream's to Sandwiches and Tortas, to fruit salads and more! The portions are great and they are well served! Not only is the food great, but so is their customer service! They are always very kind and make sure you get the best service possible, making sure your satisfied with your order every time. This place is COVID friendly, as the employees always wear masks and gloves and the place is very clean which is great! I recommend the Strawberries and Cream and the Escamochas. This place never disappoints! Although parking is limited and their wait times can be a bit long at times, it is beyond worth it! They make up for those down sides with their delicious food and great service. Everything I've ever had from here I have absolutely loved. My favorites are the Torta de Milanesa and the freshly squeezed orange juice. Definitely a customer for life! read more
