Just a heads up, the lines can get long during lunch or on a sunny day, and parking in North Park can be a bit of a mission. I usually call in my order, which makes it way easier. Oh my goodness, this might be the BEST smoothie I've ever had. The perfect fruity sweet balance that does not taste artificial. Parking can be tricky as it's all street parking but luckily I came with my boyfriend so I just waited in the car as he went and ordered. It took a max of 5 mins to get our drinks from him leaving the car!! I will say that I did like this place. They had a lot of good healthy options available. I tried the green juice, which was amazing. Make sure that if you get that you ask for ice because they will not put it in if you don't ask. I will say some items on the menu are a little pricey. But then again, it's smoothies and fruit and whatnot, so it is gonna cost a bit more. It is a very small spot, so there isn't any seating inside.There's a small amount of seating outside. I've been coming to Señor Mangos for 15+ years and if I never reviewed it is because is like home to me. Opened in 2002 by the Leon brothers, Señor Mangos is the best Frutería in the city. This business is an elemental part of this neighborhood. It has been consistent, traditional while modernizing itself with time and keeping its classic menu favorites. You won't find fresher juices, smoothies and all your fruit and veggie bites and meals outside of here unless you want to spend a lot of money on some pretentious ass Farmer's Market that doesn't have fresh produce the way SM does. And the fact that I've consistently seen the same staff throughout the years, tells me this is a good place to work in. I recommend everything, from the classic fresh squeezed juices and smoothies, açaí bowls and fruit salads. But if you're really hungry, get yourself a "torta" (mexican sandwich). I personally like the lomo one with a vampire juice. Also, their fresas con crema and escamochas are an excellent dessert. Extra Note: Leon's Produce is a little bodega store right next to it. Prices are very nice especially for smoothies! A small (16 oz) is $7 and large is around $8 (I believe it's a 20 or 24oz). They don't have too many ingredients and taste fresh. There's no icy bits or fruit chunks in the smoothie which is much appreciated. I got a Small Vanilla Mango Smoothie, it said to have vanilla ice cream, mango, and peach. And then on the menu board it said it is blended with freshly squeezed orange juice & ice. The flavor was good and not too sweet! My friends had the: - Grapefruit Juice: This had a medium amount of plump pulp. Not too sour! - Ice Cream Watermelon Smoothie: Which consisted of more than just watermelon and strawberry ice cream. It had banana as well. It looked full bodied, rich, and pink! - Early Glory Smoothie: Banana & Strawberry, a classic smoothie mixture. Place was pretty clean and simple. They don't have an assigned lot but there's a good amount of street parking. I've gotten lucky but if you don't mind a little walk, parking should not be an issue. They also offer online ordering so it made it super easy for me to pick this up on my lunch. Service was pretty good. I don't interact with them that much but I do know they get the job done.
