It was a major concern for us to find a place where we could completely trust the caregivers. From the beginning, we had heard great things about Uphill Daycare and its owner, Sima. Many of our friends' children had been in her care, and their glowing reviews reassured us. Despite the daycare being a 30-minute drive from our home, we knew we wanted our daughter to be in the best hands possible--and choosing Uphill Daycare was one of the best decisions we've ever made. Sima is not only a fantastic caregiver but also a person with a truly kind and nurturing heart. She treats every child as if they were her own. One of the things that really stood out to us was how she accommodated the kids' needs with so much care. For example, even if lunchtime was over, she would still ensure that a child who hadn't eaten got another opportunity to have their meal. One of the biggest surprises--and blessings--was that Sima helped potty train our daughter shortly after she started attending! I don't think many daycares would go to such lengths to support families in this way. The staff there really care and put in effort to make each kid feel seen. I walked in at a random time the other day and they were all in a pile with the teacher yelling out shapes as she pulled them out together giggling. I frequently pick up at non normal hours and see the kids dancing, reading with the teachers, playing cars, etc in the afternoon. They listen and have great response time when I have questions. They work to get dance classes, taekwondo,etc enrichhment options for the kids. Anna is truly amazing. Sending my kids to real big kid school breaks our heart because we feel connected to these people that did such a wonderful job helping us raise our kids.
