Quite possibly the smallest package store in the United States. It's run by this little Italian woman no taller than 5 feet. She's been the owner here for as long as I can remember. The positives are the parking spaces are always available. It's a private lot. You're not paying top dollar. The negatives are not a big selection, not a flashy place to buy gifts. read more

Family owned package store. No flash to this place. Prices r good. Parking is good. Owner is polite and knowledgeable.

So, my understanding is that the store would definitely be open at 9AM but you can call after 8AM to check if it is open. Could be better: - I felt that the collection could be better. I couldn't find 4 packs of wine. - Parking space is limited. 3-4 street parking spots.

(I found a shop who got one bottle and charged the same as everyone else.) Pappy Van Winkle Lot B has an MSRP of $69.99. I get it is rare, I would expect a decent markup, but when you are asking $700, that is a bit outrageous. If you check their website you can see the MSRP. When questioned about the exorbitant prices, the owner said he prices bottles on how many he gets, not what the price should be. There are other stores in the area with much better selection and better prices.

We made chocolate caramel cookies, shaped decorated sugar cookies, raspberry jam thumbprint cookies, and chocolate chip cookies. Getting almost all our Christmas cookie baking done as a date night in 2 hours was awesome! Lots of fun conversations, great group of people, everything prepped and ready for us to roll, shape, decorate, bake and then put it in a fabulous cookie container. We signed up for the March St Patricks day class on the spot! They also offer a cannoli class, and a Valentines class. Soooo worth it. I love to visit them on the green in East Haven at the farmers market too.
