We took our plastic soda bottles that had deposits. They immediately helped us and dumped our bottle into their bulk machine. Within a few minutes they provided me with a receipt for the total deposit amount. A few more minutes the associate gave me our money. We had over 2 years of plastic bottles. This place is amazing. It has integrated a whole new sorting & processing cans & plastic bottles system that makes waiting time minimal. (Glass bottles must come in a box NOT a bag) It's teamwork operation is efficient & pay you cash right on the spot. No more dealing with 1 by 1 suction tubes, jam ups, Icky hands, etc. The only delay I encounter is ppl come I'll prepared... Put all plastics together, cans together & bottles in boxes in bags & it'll save you from doing it there in the parking lot. (They do have large, heavy grade plastic barrels when available to put large volumes of the same in to speed up getting them on the conveyor belt). Just as easy as everyone said! Come prepared with your glass bottles / cans / plastic separated and you'll be in and out. We had over 400 cans and we were out in less than 10 minutes. Incredible!! I will never go to another redemption center again. I repeat, I will never go to another redemption center again. My husband and I brought in over $50 worth of recyclables and we were in and out in under 15 minutes. Granted, we spent a few hours at home today sorting through stuff, but the employees were super fast and super helpful. If you're in ct and in the area, bring your cans here for sure. Never going to New Britain AGAIN this is my new favorite spot. Other places they make you hand count everything out by a hundred. Here they have a machine that counts your plastic and metal cans & bottles. Just make sure you box up your glass bottles, that was our one faux pas and what took us a bit longer. OMG!!! Where have you been all my life! I had around 100 cans due to my laziness of not bringing them back to the stores as often as usual. I had cans and bottles from 5 different stores. I went in, dumped the cans on a table, the associate counted them and gave me the cash. I had sorted them by vendor and type (can or bottle) but this was not needed as they counted them all together. (I believe glass bottles had a separate area) So easy! Very efficient. I've always recycled mostly at the Grocery with horrid machines or used the recycle center in Windsor and E. Hartford but not anymore! lol. I can't believe I didn't know about this location. It's right off Route 5 near McDonald's with convenient hours Mon - Sat 8am to 5pm AND everyone working here was very friendly and helpful. Very organized, you get in and out in a timely manner. The only difficult thing is getting boxes to but the glass bottles in. But, after the first visit We box and count the glass before we go. Take the 2 liter bottles put them in their own separate bag as well as the cans and the smaller plastic bottles. By doing that we are in and out quickly. read more

To start off I would like to make it clear to everyone and the owner that Iam not a comptetitor. I'm making a PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT. The experience that I had when I went to the redemption center was: 1. Lack of understanding and speaking English. 2 . The ambiguity(Unclear) of their procedures seems to only confuse the consumer and benefits them only. IE: Before I even went to the redemption I called and verbally confirmed all of their rules. When I arrived it was a total different story. Not only did I spend a total of 3 hours plus of travel, when I was finished with my transaction I ended up with way less money then I should have. Not only did I waste my time with these people but they proceeded to contact me after to inform me not to come back with any Plastic bottles, because "they are having an inspection". YEA RIGHT!
