I got an almond croissant which wasn't really photo worthy and found it to be dry even though it had a nice moist almond paste inside. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back, but it was an okay option on our way out to see the Montmorency falls.

They also have a myriad of tempting choices, like pizzas, all kind of beautifully decorated cakes, ice cream and gelatos, etc too many to list. The entire place looks attractive and a feast for the eyes. They are open everyday from 7am which makes it super convenient. There are a couple of tables that you can eat on site and parking is free. The shop is adorable with beautiful signage and delicious-looking treats. We were given mini-cupcakes to try by the owner and decided to buy a half-dozen full-sized ones to go. We also let our children have cake pops and they said they were great. We also took with us a brownie, cookie, and maple sugar candies (because our daughter NEVER gets to eat out - this was a real novelty for her!). The kids loved everything they had over the course of the next few days. My husband and I had cupcakes and they were delish - you would never know they were allergen-free! Prices for the treats were also great. Usually, for specialty foods, I expect the cost to be higher, but the prices here seemed to be like the prices you'd find at any other bakery. BONBON is pretty new and the owner said there was another location on the North Shore, in Boisbriand. She said the shop we visited in Longueuil was expanding to a larger location too. We were SO happy that we found BONBON! It totally made our day because our daughter could eat without worry.
