They really make lovely gift items. The macarons come assorted with all the bright colors (turquoise, orange, purple, lime green) and flavors (peach, lavender, hazelnut, etc.). A sample plate was put aside for the host's Mom - no one would argue with that respectful gesture - as none had extra stomach space either.
