The croissant is one of the best in Montreal...crispy, buttery and moist. Love this place and it is a neighbourhood favorite

The front area is a bakery with beautiful dessert displays. I wish I had a room for dessert. We came for the Quiche Lorraine, and the portion was huge -- probably enough for 3 people, I would say. It had a lot of meat, with some kind of special ham/bacon, and the flavor was delicious. If you like meat, this is the dish for you. I definitely recommend it! Personally, I would have liked a little more egg custard in the quiche. The Eggs Benedict was delicious as well. The drinks were great and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend!.

We got the pear dessert, lemon meringue, and Ferrero chocolate cake, and together the three desserts came to around $45. Honestly, I didn't want to like them as much as I did because of the price, but they were all so good that we immediately wanted more. The pear dessert was light and delicate, while the outer white chocolate layer added a really nice crunch. I was super happy to see them because they were viral on TikTok lol. The Ferrero chocolate cake was super creamy and rich, and even the base had that delicious Ferrero flavor throughout. The lemon meringue was also light and refreshing, while the bottom crust still had a nice firmness to it in a good way. Every dessert was super flavorful and tasted amazing. The staff greeted us right away when we came in for takeout, and everyone was very friendly. They also helped pack our desserts, although I personally would have preferred if each dessert was packaged separately. The shop itself is really cute too. They have an adorable heart and rose sign outside, and all the desserts are displayed at the front. They also sell croissants and other little pastries/snacks as well.

The server said I'd have to wait 15 minutes for the supervisor as she's on her break. It took 20 minutes. To me this sounds like bs because they usually give a refund right away. It sounds like they were looking for someone to pick on so they chose a woman alone because they're cowards. They're uptight bitches. I told them if I don't get a refund In calling the cops Shortly after t the supervisor showed up and refunded me. I refunded the whole thing being fed up with their service. And they vex and unload their frustrations in the customers, whomever they think is an easy mark. Women mistreating other women. No apology offered. If that's how they treat strangers it must be hell in their homes. They sound like if they get mad they hit women or kids. The food is good there but awful service. And no customer should have to wait 20 minutes for a supervisor to finish her break. Obviously the customers are not king in this joint.

Boulangerie Guillaume caught my eye unexpectedly. I did not have this place on my list of bakeries…read moreto try while in Montreal, but as I was walking in the area I noticed many people holding their distinctive yellow bags. I was intrigued, and since I can always go for some carbs I decided to head in and check this place out. Unlike most bakeries I visited, Boulangerie Guillaume has a much more modern look, and is larger than a standard bakery. Walking in, I was immediately greeted by stairs which led up to the main production area. All of the bakes were arranged on the back-wall perimeter of the space separated from the pedestrians by a glass wall. The color scheme was mostly black to contrast the bright yellow of the bags and signage. The arrangement of the bakes, combined with the color scheme and modern aesthetics, resulted in a stunning, visually striking presentation. I wasn't too hungry, but I can always go for some sweets and their date square looked good. I went with that, along with a cappuccino. The square was delicious - the dates were high quality, and the crust underneath was moist while maintaining its integrity. The cappuccino was also good, a great complement to the bake. Service was efficient, and overall I had a great experience at Boulangerie Guillaume. I definitely want to return to explore more of their menu - I noticed they had some savory items so perhaps for some lunch. Definitely one of the best bakeries I visited in Montreal.
