More booths filled with all kinds of creative crafts. A long aisle of your favorite snack food awaits you plus if you need a drink, beer and cocktails can be purchased. This year the weather was perfect and so many people came out. I always make sure to look for my favorite artists and make a purchase from them. It's a great place to pick up early Christmas gifts for friends or family. In addition there is so much Halloween, Fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas decor to consider purchasing. Boulder City is easy to reach from the 11 freeway and takes you about 30-45 minutes to get to when you live in Las Vegas. Parking is on the street as I noticed they no longer seem to offer the shuttle service. A fun way to spend a Sunday Funday!

Wow. I'm here on Sunday for my Official Duty to Judge the KCBS sanctioned BBQ Cookoff where 40 teams compete for Prize Money and Points Standings. This is one thing that throws off the Public as these Teams are competing and not Vending thier BBQ. IT'S been that way for 22 years straight, The event named Best Dam BBQ is to draw in people to help with Jaycee's yearly fundraising and that comes from Purchased Wares, Donations, and a Weekend Long BBQ cookout...Burgers and Hotdogs only, Backyard BBQ! Soo my day was Awesome to come out early and People watch, Check out all the BBQ competitors rigs and tents, Smell the Smoke, then Do My Thing as an official Kansas City BBQ Society Master Judge, Then browse the Craft Fair and pick up some Amazing Homemade Sweets... You can enter and leave the venue whenever, so if you're tired during the day, walk back to your hotel, take a nap and come right back recharged ~ This isn't just a music festival, this event has many other attractions you can check out. They have mini shows that range from Cirque du Soleil, comedians, drag queens, podcast hosts and many more. There's a lot of unique artworks plaster around the whole downtown block and let's not forget the food ! Also the weather is perfect ! It's always on the last week of September, so it's not too hot or too cold, just right. If you're in Vegas, this is definitely one of the festivals to check out ~

Every year it gets better and better. I was able to attend this past Saturdays event and was so impressed with everything! The LIF app takes you through your journey with maps and layout of the band. Food and Drink booths are literally everywhere along with water station. All the stages were set up nicely for a great view and I absolutely loved that the souvenirs to our grade were everywhere ! I got to listen to some great bands along with many new upcoming artists and DJs. We also got to go do some shopping, and explore some neat events like Silent Disco. There were plenty of areas for photo opportunities. Looking forward for next year!!

This festival gets big and bigger every year but still maintains a friendly family event atmosphere. They have great crafts and delicious food at reasonable prices compared to many other festivals. For the kids they have a kids section that includes rides, train ride, face painting and food. All evening they have live music and a dance area to have some fun. This festival is fun for both family or a date night. Parking is easy and they have shuttles to pick you up and drop you off at the entrance gate. Cost to get in this year was $10 for adults. Festival runs from Friday to Sunday.

The weather was perfect, a little overcast, and it seemed like it might rain at one point, but it just passed us by. I was able to get food without waiting in an excessively long line. We had the souvlaki, and a piece of spanakopita! I bought some pottery from a vendor who came all the way in from CA! Also picked up some Holy Honey from one of my favorite vendors! We had a great time, listening to some music, but missed the performers. My tip for you is to avoid the parking nightmare, and park in the areas where they have shuttles that take you to and from the event. It's free, and they drop you right off at the door. I'll never understand why more people don't take advantage of this convenience. Be kind, & tip your driver!

This craft festival comes around twice a year, spring and fall. It's always a large group of…read morevender's, some displaying their hand crafted items, and some displaying their wares and foods. Always a large number, this year close to 200 independent craft workers from various states. All the work that is on display comes directly from the crafter/ artisan and is limited in supply, not massed produced and replicated. I always enjoy finding unique gifts for family and friends, not to mention stuff for myself. I highly recommend this festival, look for it, April and November yearly!

We go to a few a year. They are usually free or low priced, plenty of parking, good for families, not super packed, great day out with the kids
