This is probably BC's biggest weekend event of the year. Art in the Park brings our community together with artists from nearby and all over the country, as well as hundreds and hundreds of people looking to buy, or just admire the arts and crafts of the artisans on hand. I think this is my favorite of our annual events and that's saying a lot, because BC knows how to party. read more

This is my first year back at this annual craft/art fair out in Boulder City, NV since 2017. Oh my how it has grown since the last time I was here. This artsy affair now takes up four parks. More booths filled with all kinds of creative crafts. A long aisle of your favorite snack food awaits you plus if you need a drink, beer and cocktails can be purchased. This year the weather was perfect and so many people came out. I always make sure to look for my favorite artists and make a purchase from them. It's a great place to pick up early Christmas gifts for friends or family. In addition there is so much Halloween, Fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas decor to consider purchasing. Boulder City is easy to reach from the 11 freeway and takes you about 30-45 minutes to get to when you live in Las Vegas. Parking is on the street as I noticed they no longer seem to offer the shuttle service. A fun way to spend a Sunday Funday! read more

The Mrs & I attend this event every year. We go early, have breakfast at the hotel & then browse through the vendors. It was nice & we did see some unique items, but it was just darn hot! And the prices are pretty steep too. read more

10-2-22 Spotting white tents on our way to breakfast in Boulder City we knew something fun was about to take place. I said loudly CRAFT FAIR!!! Doc looked it up and told us Art In The Park. We also saw a poster: 100 vendors - that confirmed it: if you can't see long horn sheep you might as well add some local culture while we are here. After breakfast at the Coffee Cup and still no sight of the herd, we found lot parking. Half an hour too early but I spotted someone making a sale. Let's do this! The plan was stay on the paved walkway through the park with benches nearby in case we needed to take a break. I bought handcrafted bracelets for Doc and myself. Doc bought hubs a stake with a metal dog hunching over. There is an unidentified dog walker who never picks up their business by our sidewalk. There were many tiny cute four legged family members visiting too. Okay let's hele on...that was a nice diversion. Many artists even from Arizona. Huge paintings, sculptures, woolen shawls and more. Art in the Park is a large outdoor art festivals in Boulder City that is annual every October. The event is free to the public. They have so many great vendors and food trucks. This was my 4th time coming. It's always a nice family day to come out and see all the great talent in our community and support the vendors. Great fall festival. We went to Boulder City for the annual Art In The Park Craft Show, and it was amazing. As we approached the heart of the city, we spotted white tents in the distance. The craft show takes place in Government Park, and we took my Mom along since we knew she would enjoy it. With over 100 vendors, there was plenty to choose from in terms of shopping. We California olive oil, balsamic vinegars, and garden stakes for our herbs and tomatoes. It's a great place to shop for early holiday gifts and support artists! You can easily spend a couple of hours browsing around. If you've never been, I highly recommend going and exploring. It's a fun way to spend an afternoon. read more

This event takes place over a single weekend (Oct. 7-8, 2023) in October, running from 9 am to 4 pm. I was captivated by its expansive scale and the multitude of vendors it attracted. There was certainly an abundance of delightful crafts available for purchase. However, I couldn't help but wish for more live art experiences, such as vibrant paintings being created in real-time, captivating poetry readings, or even friendly competitions, to truly transform this event into a festival-like ambiance. Nevertheless, it still exudes a unique charm, even though it feels more akin to a sprawling flea market with some crafty stuff for sale rather than an immersive art festival. Among the talented artists present, the Laughing Bear Art exhibit stood out, featuring incredibly adorable paintings that bring a genuine smile to your face, created by a truly amiable artist. Additionally, I had the pleasure of purchasing some exquisite holiday earrings crafted by talented jewelry makers. There were also a ton of food and beverage options, including alcohol. You can't miss going here! It is the perfect place to shop for early holiday gifts or birthday gifts and support artists! You can easily spend 2-4 hours looking around. Don't buy until you've gone through all the booths. It makes it easier to look around. Plus you might find something at the end and then you already spent your budget money! I live in Boulder City. There wasn't parking for this event. The set up busses in the Veterans Park to bus people in for $20.00. That's disgusting, a mile or two away? The food was so expensive, I bought a hot dog and bottle water for $15.00 and I don't even know if it was meat. It was disgusting . Another vendor was selling BBQ spare ribs, 4 ribs ,$18.00. This is highway robbery! And the vendor an old man, was so rude to myself and my girlfriend. We should have just walked away, why if we are buying your products, do you have to be mean to us? We bought a lemonade, 1/2 ice for $8.00. We had to walk 10 blocks away. Why for next year, they get close parking? Paying $20.00 to go a few miles is unbelievable . A little cheaper prices on the food. Vendors who are nicer, I shouldn't get yelled at for asking for a fork. There weren't that many good food vendors. They did have wonderful vendors for non- food items. Very personable, and said even though they lived in California, we could call or go on thru website. Vendors with jewelry, the prices were great. I am a Yelper that admires festivals. Festivals are conglomerations of creative, entertaining, and unique places. The art of living is to experience creative, entertaining, and unique places. Going back to May 20, when I wrote a review on Wilbur Square Park, I was determined to check-in to Art in the Park. The weekend of October 5 and 6 crept up fast. It was time to check-in to Wilbur Square Park. To me the art of dying slowly is siting in bumper to bumper traffic. I anticipated motor vehicles flooding the main roads of Boulder City. I would avoid bumper to bumper traffic and possible parking problems. Now that the weather is beautiful, I made a whole day out of combining Art in the Park with a hike on the River Mountains Loop Trail between Railroad Pass Casino and downtown Boulder City. Art in the Park took place in the heart of the Boulder City business district. The shape of the grounds resembled a panhandle. Wilbur Square Park, Utah Street, and the greenery to the left of City Hall was the pan and the greenery extending to Wyoming Street was the handle. Art in the Park was a celebration of Boulder City. In reality the downtown businesses were incorporated into the festival. The major attractions were the booths featuring creative, entertaining, and unique work. There was Harmony Tie Dies which is a business established in Modesta, California 1979 specializing in tie dye clothes. There was Woofware Handmade Dog Collars with a sundry of neat dog collars. Turflings guaranteed that if you water their product that hair would grow. Stoned Coasters shared my sense of humor with beer coasters joking "Life is short, drink the best wines first," "Why limit happy to an hour" and other funny stuff. Dream Inspire.com sold pictures displaying upbeat affirmations that could make a neat Yelp profile caption. The affirmations included "Do more of what makes you awesome." "Why stop at the stars when the galaxy never ends." There was one unique business after another. The heart of Art in the Park was the food concessions and beer garden along Utah Street. This is where the scent of carnival food overtook the olfactory sense. Some of the food & drink concessions were Fresh Square Lemonade, Snow Ice, Ozark Mountain BBQ, and Glavanais NY Italian Sausage. Currently, when it comes to events in downtown business districts, my preference is to support the local business. A White Castle concession could be an exception. With this in mind I'd cheer Art in the Park in the Boulder City Brewing Company. Art in the Park also promoted business, professional firms, and good health. An example is the Boulder City Hospital booth offering free health screens. I knew in my heart that the key to good health was enjoying special places and getting exercise hiking to them. The majority of these booths were between Arizona and Wyoming Streets. I am a Yelper that has high hopes of checking in at more festivals. To me, festivals celebrate the art of living. YELP 365 CHALLENGE 2014-(286/365) "Arts, Crafts, And FOOD!" Going to Art In The Park in Boulder City year after year signifies that the Summertime and its dreadful heat is on its way outta here. It is best to arrive early so that you can find parking on the streets nearby and not have to worry about the bumper to bumper traffic that happens later on in the afternoon. They have a shuttle service nearby for those who wish to arrive later, but that will set you back $10. Almost every shop has some kind of sale going on for Art In The Park weekend, so keep an eye out for that as well...you may end up with a sweet deal! The Halloween inspired gourds once again were the hot ticket item this year. we didn't get any artwork this year, but we got some cool Coconut Body Butter which will help sooth our skin with this wicked Winter season around the corner! Of course, you can't come here and not enjoy the food! Kettle Corn, Roasted Corn, Funnel Cakes, BBQ, Burgers, Pizza, Greek, Italian, and many more! Reasonable prices, and great portions too. The 2033 art show was big and offered a large variety. However things were very expensive!! And they charged $1.00 if you used a credit card. Extremely unreasonable!! This year there was more food stands and again VERY expensive for what you got. The Mexican food stand, Taqueria del sur was expensive and the food was barely mediocre at best!! Most went to the circular container. People are in business to make a living, but they don't need to try to make a killing!! read more

Art, artists, grass, sun, cool breeze, and junk food all equal a great time! This event takes place once a year in Boulder City and lasts for two days. The 30 min drive is a breeze and it's always so much fun to visit this adorable little town with so much character. Art in the park is a fun way to spend the afternoon walking around and visiting all the vendor booths with so many great things to admire and of course purchase if you choose to do so. This event is also FREE :) This time a year the weather is finally starting to cool down and there's a lot more here then just art (as if that wasn't enough). Jewelry, beauty products, kitchen gadgets, clothing, accessories, gourmet food stations with wide varieties of balsamic dressings, homemade sauces & jams, cheese, jerky, kids products, pet goodies, wine, all sorts of crafts & pottery, glass art and so much more. It's great to be able to see so many different things in one day. The junk food section is like a carnival with all the goods that are extra bad for you like ~ funnel cakes, corn dogs, cotton candy, corn on the cob, and nachos just to name a few. There's also a lot of variety from Greek specialties to every type of BBQ. The aromas in the air are fabulous. You can find shaded grassy areas all over the park since there's so many trees and just sit & relax. It's really a great weekend getaway and just another excuse to go to Boulder City. read more

It's a pretty common art fair. Nothing original. Vendors have wares a bit less in quality than you would see in, say, San Diego or Portland. The drive out from Las Vegas is uneventful. Boulder City itself is kind of a run down old town, littered with dilapidated buildings, biker bars and trailer parks. The event is for a great cause though, so I would still have to recommend everyone check it out at least once if you have nothing else to do that particular weekend. read more

A very beautiful area with perfect weather today for a crafts fair. We found garden decor and animal cards. It seems to have the same county fair food and drinks plus everyone's hummingbird feeders and cotton clothes, recycled leather jackets and mosaics, and photographs and jewelry we could see anywhere. One man from Arizona had amazing repurposed wire sculptures I will order. But truthfully I am excited about exploring Boulder City when it is not clogged with buses full of visitors. read more

Today was our first time at Boulder City's Art in the Park. We took the advice of people I know and got there at 9 AM. It was a good thing we got there so early, because we only walked around for a couple of hours and then decided to go home. As we were driving back out towards Las Vegas the traffic was bumper-to-bumper all the way to Railroad Pass. As far as outdoor craft/art festivals go I think this one is pretty good. Great selection and variety of arts, crafts, and food vendors. I would have liked it if the aisles between the booths were a little farther apart. Even first thing Saturday morning it was crowded, a little more space would have gone a long way towards making it more comfortable. It was a little warm for me - maybe next year it will be a little cooler and I will have a little more money to spend, definitely going back! read more

This was a fun event for a beautiful fall weekend. We didn't bother fighting the crowds for parking in the incredibly tiny downtown area - just paid the $10 already for the shuttle and it was very quick and convenient. *Bonus points for good event planners* I am not terribly interested in crafts, but there were plenty of booths offering a variety of art that I really enjoyed browsing. The food options were good and I will plan to go back next year. When we were leaving on Sunday, traffic coming in was awful. I am glad we decided to get there early and didn't have to deal with that. read more

Overpriced garbage. Half of the things at art in the park can be found at a swap meet for a fraction of the price. Yea. I understand a lot if it is hand crafted but I do the same thing and charge way less then what these people charge. I go every year because I live right down the street but rarely do I buy anything. And forget about food. The lines to get something to eat are so long you might as well drive to vegas. read more

Pretty disappointed this year with the parking/shuttle service. Upon arriving, we had to pay a fee of $10 per car to enter a make shift parking lot. The people running it were standing around talking to each other instead of guiding the cars in an organized manner. Cars were parked everywhere. We had to stand in line in the dirt and hot sun for at least 30 minutes just to board the shuttle. (Thank goodness my parents decided not to come at the last minute, they definitely wouldn't have been able to handle standing that long. Not handicap friendly) Only 3 vehicles were running (1 large bus, 2 small shuttles). Once we got to that park, it was enjoyable. Great artwork and food as usual. After roaming the park for 3 hours, we dreadly went back to stand in the shuttle line again for over a half an hour just to get back to the parking lot to get our car. Sad to say, this will be the last Art in the Park event for us. read more
