I always come here for a cheap way to get out of the house since I work from home and love movies. A matinee showing and a tender combo came out to $22. I never noticed how I can't see the bottom part of the screen in this seat that I always choose but wanted to share in case it is a problem for you. Its always so clean and the workers are so polite. Don't let the location fool you. It has potential to still providea good vibe and movie experience. I love an old school cinema vibe. This one has that with a lobby that feels more vintage and welcoming. The theatre was big, modern and comfortable with great sound and a huge screen. I have been coming here for years and have always had an amazing experience! I came this time to see Spider Man with a buddy of mine. Everything was great about the experience: the movie, the reclining seats, the popcorn. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I tried to get a refill on my popcorn during the movie from the front, but there were a ton of people in line. I noticed there was a spot that said "for refills only", so I walked up there. I stood there for about 5 minutes and none of the workers noticed I was standing there. I then reluctantly had to get the attention of one of the workers who then said he would get to me after his next customer in line (who he had not called over yet). I'm not sure why he said that when it could have taken him 2 seconds to fill the popcorn. Anyway, it's a great theater and I wouldn't let that deter you from coming here. Just thought it was noteworthy to know. Also, I did notice after the movie that there are refill stations in between the theaters. We watched Toy Story 5. Very good movie. As far as the theater goes? Temperature was perfect! Popcorn was fresh and warm. The service was very pleasant. Who doesn't want to drink a beer, have a giant pretzel, and recline while watching a movie? We tend to go to this movie theater for all of the reasons listed above. We were a little sad that they were cleaning the lines so we could not get a beer from the tab, only a bottle. On the plus side of that, we knew that they are actually taking the time to clean and keep everything up to date. It's pretty much a given that every time we go now, you have to grab a giant pretzel with some mustard, a Coke zero and sometimes a beer. read more

My family and I frequent this theater. The throwbacks are awesome, the chairs are the absolute best and the quality of the audio and visual is as great as the seating. My daughter and I went in to pre-purchase Spider-man tickets, and had a bit of a hiccup getting what we were trying to get. After purchasing, we were leaving a bit unsatisfied, went back and then Ruby, like her name sake was an absolute quality gem. She resolved the issue got us exactly what we were looking for and her service was so phenomenal that I would assume that is just another Thursday for her. I have passed by the Galaxy theater but haven't watched any movie until last night. Recliner seat was so comfortable throughout the whole movie. The young gentlemen who checked us in for tickets was nice and told us we're just on time and commercial is almost over. I brought light jacket with me since I'm always cold in the movies. The place is clean (including bathrooms), staff is friendly, candy is candy, popcorn is popcorn, and the seats are bomb! Now if you pick a bad movie well that's on you lol. Had online tickets, so no contact with outside ticket sales. Concession stand gentleman was FABULOUS. This was our first time visiting a: "bigger" theater, having come from a very small town. The concession gentleman understood we were new to a big theater and he was so gracious and patient while we ordered. We wanted to check out all of the cool merch they had and he was ever so pleasant! Theater was clean and seats were fabulous! I had never been to a theater with reclining seats. Again, small town folks used to family vibe businesses. Restrooms need much attention. Sinks were stopped up and very rusty. The two "gentlemen" at the scan tickets booth were less than pleasant. Seemed very annoyed at being asked where the restrooms were. Snotty blokes. They need to be in housekeeping where they do not have contact with the public. Their attire was much too tight, left nothing to the imagination. We would visit this theater again due to the fabulous gentleman at the concession stand, the manager on duty, and the cleanliness of the theater seats." read more

Gotta love those reclining seats....... They are soft they go all the way back at the push of a button and comes with cupholder and a table that swivels in place when you need it. The theater was nice and clean. Customer service was fine. They sell all the traditional theater snacks as well as adult beverages. There are two mini arcade areas located at the front of the theater near the concession stands and lastly, I like the fact that you can order your tickets for assigned seating online. Even though when we arrived, a young couple was sitting in our seats, but the theater was pretty empty so we allowed them to stay there and we just sat further in the back which worked fine for me. read more

The theater experience is very top notch! I went to see the new Avatar movie before the new year began and had a great time with the few friends I brought along with me. We saw the film in their DFX experience, which felt right for a movie that was a bit over 3 hours! The speakers and viewing were very impressive as I am used to more "retro" theaters around the Valley. I did like having their recliner seats that were adjustable with just holding a few buttons but it was hard to get used to the seating with a movie this long! It shouldn't be a worry for average feature film lengths. I didn't get popcorn this time but I took some from my friend who added a few toppings to hers. The station is right before you scan your tickets so don't miss it! I hope to return soon for more films! This place is pretty freaking great. I can't believe how close I lived to this theater and had no idea it was so cool! They play $5 classics which is what got me here to see all 3 LOTR extended edition films. Each time I tried either their popcorn or nachos and they were great. They have a full bar and all their seats are comfortable as heck! I got to experience their small theater, the mostly recently updated theater, and their version of Dolby vision. The two latter ones were better but it was still all an enjoyable experience. I plan on coming back for some holiday spotlights this season and will probably join their club which I should have done from the beginning to get some points as I plan on coming here more and more overtime. It's definitely worth checking out, especially because of the value of their ticket prices and even their concessions being much lower than AMC and other competitors. read more

I had a great experience at this theater. I purchased tickets online and was able to pick the seats. For a food item, I ordered nachos with jalapeños on the side and I appreciate that they give you a ton of the nacho cheese sauce. I noticed too that there was a bar available to purchase alcoholic beverages if you are in the mood to have a drink as well! Inside the theater it was very spacious and the seats were very comfortable. We were able to recline them and put our feet up with plenty of room. I also liked the trays that were there for food items. All of these things definitely made the movie experience all the more enjoyable! read more

Galaxy Theatres is a luxury theater where you can enjoy the latest movies but at an elevated price. I have to go here for new releases as the theater seems to be a little less packed than a regular one. The seats are comfortable and reclining, which is an ultimate plus. They also have great spacing between the seats and Rose as well. This ensures that no one is blocking your view and you're not fighting over an armrest. The only downside is the hike up for concessions is a lot more than a regular theater. Often times you can find bundle deals at regular theaters for let's say a medium popcorn and a medium drink. Galaxy theater offers none of that with medium drinks being upwards of eight dollars and a medium popcorn being upwards of 9+. All in all a good place to go for comfort, but definitely not cost-effective in my opinion. read more

I do not know why more people do not come here! It is never busy. All seats are reclining. They lay back further than any other theaters I have been to. Seats also come with large trays! The service at the front is always kind and helpful. Came in the other week and one of the employees helped us get a discount on our food. Bathrooms were clean. I have never been here, but I can already tell what a professional and friendly environment this theater us. I spoke to one of the morning managers, Delilah on the phone to find a movie. She went well above and beyond to search her chain, as well as others in Arizona and Neveda. She was even able to tell what she could see with the movie being California and New Mexico. I don't think anyone can convince me otherwise. This is the best movie theater in the area. All theaters have spacious reclining seats. I much prefer these seats over standard seats. I know other theaters also provide reclining seats, but these are my favorite. I normally opt for popcorn and on occasion, a seltzer or margarita. We had dinner plans on the east side, so we decided to see a movie before dinner at this location. The reservation system online was easy to use (1star). This is a ridiculously expensive theater. $37.50 for 2 tickets to a 2:30pm show a Tuesday? That's what we paid for a round trip airline ticket to Orange County last week, to compare. The theater boasts nice seats, good sound, and a welcoming atmosphere, and we already made the plans, so we were stuck. We got to the theater and went to get our snacks for the movie, and there were no employees at the concession stand. Weird, but we waited. It took about 10 minutes before anyone appeared, but the gentleman who helped us was very polite and stated they were all in the back doing inventory at the same time. One weirdly quirky thing they do is put plastic lids on their popcorn buckets. This is definitely not environmentally friendly, but it's nice for transport. We headed into our theater and the employee who checked our digital ticket and printed our physical ticket (more waste), was very friendly (1star)! They have a cute little selfie station, but no selfie shelf to hold your phone, so it's kind of not the best use of space. The theater itself was alright. It wasn't the dirtiest we've seen, but the floor was sticky. My chair squealed when I went to put the foot rest up, which made the entire row stare at us (that was funny). The sound was ok, the temperature was ok, the screen had a weird fuzzy spot in the bottom center area, but other than that it was fine. The bathrooms were gross. Just super gross. I don't think we'll be back at this location, which is too bad because they offer a cool $30 bag of take home popcorn! read more

Hand down my FAVORITE theater in town. I have gone here on opening weekends and it's never super crowded to where I feel overwhelmed. The seats are reclining and always clean/comfortable. The theater itself is always clean and well kept. The popcorn, is always fresh and NOT too salty, the staff is always friendly and super helpful. I highly recommend this place as your NEW theater of choice. They even have a rewards program that you can sign up for free with. You can earn free tickets and money off at concessions. I love galaxy theaters. My fiancé and I always choose this theater when we feel like a movie/date night. The price is right, the food is delicious, and they also serve alcohol. They have reclining seats as well which make this theater feel luxury without the price tag. My fiancé and I always get a large popcorn and take the rest home for movie nights at home. We recently tried regal cinemas and both regretted it. The popcorn tasted like plastic, the nachos were not good either and it was expensive. Galaxy theater is the best in my opinion. Alejandro is also amazing, he has helped us a few times and makes my extra extra extra butter popcorn perfect every time! They also have a rewards system that offers free movie tickets and concessions the more you go. read more

Price of tickets are expensive in my opinion, but you get what you pay for! The seats are the most comfortable seats I've sat on in a movie theatre. The seats recline all the way back and are super cushiony! I have little kids and if one needed to sit with me for any reason, I think we would have cuddled perfectly in one seat! One thing I didn't like didn't like wasn't theatre room we were in only had one entrance on the side rather than an entrance /exit on both sides. We paid our tickets in the front using the kiosk they have, very easy to use and didn't need assistance from a worker. I LOVE how they decorate based on the holidays that are near or season. This theatre has a homey vibe to it. I will be bringing my kids again soon! read more
