In town for training and I had a Gout flare Sunday night. I was in extreme pain and I needed to see…read morea doctor right away to get treated. I called several places and every business was booked out for weeks. Finally I called Foot & Ankle Care and they were kind enough to listen to my story and kept the office open a few minutes late to see me. The staff was extremely friendly and empathized my pain I was feeling. I was seen right away and met Dr. Brian. He was very friendly, professional, and cut straight to the chase. He get a steroid shot, which I thought would be extremely painful based on my first experience. He actually managed to give me the shot and the pain was next to nothing... amazing. It's been 24 hours and the shot and anti-inflammatory has reduce my pain quite a bit and I can walk again at least. Thank you so much Foot & Ankle Care. You guys are awesome!

Dr. Gradisek did me a huge disservice. Surgery on my foot in the outcome was very unsatisfactory…read more He bragged that he had done work with the Chicago Bulls basketball team. I find it very hard to believe with his lack of skill. He placed a device in my foot and it backed out halfway. When I went back to him, he basically told me that there was really nothing he could do and that as long as I didn't have pain, it should be fine. You should've refunded the entire cost of my surgery and offered to redo his work. If you care about your feet, I would suggest you stay far away from this doctor.

Keep in mind with this review, like all the others on this page, that for someone to go out and…read morereview their doctor, they likely either really like them, or really don't like them... probably not much in between. Otherwise, they are just a doctor. I have low expectations hwen I go into a doctor anyway, so I'm pretty easy to please. I expect to not be called back into the room until a bit after my appointment time, and I expect I'll likely be left waiting there for a while before the doctor comes in. I think thats fairly normal and I'm fine with it. I see Dr. Hoffman here, and she's done four separate toenail removals for me (two toenails, twice each...) and I've always liked her. She seems nice, we have some nice chit chats about running and running shoes and such. The nurses have always seemed nice and do a good job with the initial numbings, etc. so I give them credit for that.

Our family has trusted Dr. Yvonne Weber, Dr. Christina Weber, and their team for over 15 years, and…read morewe couldn't recommend them more highly! They are kind, thorough, and truly listen--always taking the time to ask the right questions, explain conditions clearly, and provide written recommendations for next steps. Whether addressing foot pain or more complex concerns, they make sure we feel heard and cared for. Their dedication and expertise have made a real difference for our family, and we are grateful for their outstanding care.

Requested '2nd opinion' on bone spur in foot from Dr Shonka. Office Recep Nina assured me he was…read morecompetent to provide this service. After scheduling and waiting 6 weeks to see him, he walked in, said hello, looked down at my foot on the floor, and said "What else do you need from me?" My reply "A 2nd opinion was my request for this visit, I expected an examination and a detail of what my options vs the 1st doctors suggestion of and exostectomy." He replied "Maybe if I look at the xrays from your 1st doctor" then said good day an left the office. No exam in the examination chair, no physical contact with my foot whatsoever, a complete sham. Worst experience with a supposedly 'seasoned professional podiatrist' I ever received. Or, not received in my case. Sent on the 1st doctors xrays to his office, and Nina said "he can't tell anything from the xrays", why don't you make another appointment and we'll schedule an MRI?" My reply "What? Wait another 6 weeks or more to see an incompetent doctor for more expensive testing, from which he may or may not be able to discern something?" Confidence in Shonka was totally absent by this time- months after the original appointment. Worst treatment from a doctor and his office that I've EVER received! Do NOT SEE this doctor Tom Shonka- he is at best, a hack. To add insult to injury - his office sent me a bill for over $100 for meeting him. I didn't request a 'meet & greet' I wanted a professional opinion and got nothing of the sort, no exam, nothing about any options for treatment, ZERO service and a total lack of professionalism.
