We have visited the one in Baxter several times when we are in the area, and it is one of our favorite spots For sports bar type dining. They're giant cheese curds are super good, they have homemade soup most days, and the burgers are good. They have a great craft beer selection. They also have a full bar with mixed drinks. My hamburger order was all messed up. Made the waitress aware of the mistake. She took it in back and more mistakes when it came out. Stopped in after traveling all day to get some dinner. Ordered drinks and two apps. Drinks were fine, both apps (cheese curds and jalapeno wontons) were good, loved the sauce served with both apps. Not sure if it was an off night in the kitchen or this is their standard but both entrees were inedible. My wifes Chicken sandwich had a very off taste. The chicken was soggy from what I can only assume was the result of frying it in bad/old oil. We each had a bite and couldn't bear to eat anymore. My nachos had potential, I loved the crema and the roasted corn. However, I did not like the carnitias which had a similar off taste just as the chicken. I didn't like the globs of hardened cold cheese that appeared in every bite. Somehow even the tortilla chips had the same weird taste to them. As for service our server was fine. There is a definite fly problem, the seating is always sticky and dirty and the floors always need attention as well as the restrooms. The sidewalk and parking lot had trash laying around. They have a great selection of tap beers, huge menu full of comfort food, friendly and fast staff and High-Def TVs in every corner of the place. And if you like cheese, this place will be a winner in your book. For starters, we got the cheese curds. They are not like your normal small nugget curds, these babies are huge cubes of cheese (like the size of a stress ball). You can either get white, yellow, or mix both which I would suggest doing. They come out piping hot so that when you bite into them, they just ooze cheese. So, so good. I tried the Brown Sugar Bacon and Cheddar Cheeseburger and it was really good. All of the burgers look and sound pretty tasty. Our group really enjoyed all of the burgers that were ordered. There is also lighter fare available if you are not looking to add a few pounds when visiting. They have a great special where you can get a burger, fries, and milkshake for like $10, basically McDonald's pricing for way better food. I suggest skipping the up-charged special seasoned fries as there is not much that sets them apart from the plain fries. Finally, I tried an adult milk shake with Butterfinger and Butterscotch Schnapps. It was amazing.
