The other guy did the best that he could, but there wasn't enough left on the top of my head to really do anything so I walked out with the military crew cut. On my first occasion, I got charged $40 and the barber did not put attention to detail as this person. Therefore, I would wait until I returned to LA for a cut. This place came recommended by my cousin who is a Las Vegas native. I love the Cuban vibes and the pool table on the center of the barber shop. I went on a Friday with no appointment, and ended with this cut in less than 40 minutes-- I got super lucky. My cut is not really their style since they specialize in fades.. my cousin gets hooked up with his price, and I got charged $25 with no appointment & all the lines shaving. I don't like how he made a new line in my forehead, but I'm sure he will get to know my cut. I had the same barber in LA for over 8 years and I'm sure my NEXT Longterm barber Already works here.. This time, I came in looking like a lion with a whole bunch of hair.. so all my lines were messed up. Yet, I love the attention to detail the barber did. He even clipped way down my neck line. Instead of putting alcohol on a napkin to rub on the shaved spot, he sprayed alcohol like hair spray. Every couple strokes of the clippers, he brushed off to make sure he got every hair. I told her the style I wanted and how to go about it, she completely ignored what I said and messed up my hair. I had to get a second hair cut immediately afterwards in order to fix her mistakes. As a barber, not knowing how to do a fade is like a mechanic not knowing how to do an oil change. BIG RED FLAG. I had my hair cut by the owner, Gerardo. He almost began to cut my hair before I even mentioned what I wanted - another RED FLAG Less than 10 minutes into the cut, only having used a razor with the same blade (another RED FLAG), he then slathered gel all over my hair. Less than 10 minutes and you're already putting product in my hair?? How are you suppose to trim the top with scissors if theres product in it? The answer is he didn't. Such an amateur hair cut. But im old school and when i was first introduced to a barbershop by my uncle Rudy ( 1970's) it was a serious place to get your hair cut. He told me when we get there you take a seat and keep your mouth shut and let the men talk. Now I has a kid it was cool to sit there in the barbershop and listen to all the men tell stories about things that are going on here in Las Vegas Casinos, Cowboys, Showgirls, Gambling and Gangsters. I can't speak for how other barbers in here cut hair but i had my haircut with Karla. Asked for a medium bald drop fade i knew i was risking it by being a walk in but you would still expect a somewhat decent haircut. It was a horrible fade she didn't even want pull a mirror at the end to let me inspect the haircut and at that point i knew it was bad. When i called her out about the fade she had audacity to say next time you get a haircut take your hat off 30 minutes before you come in because it leaves a line and confuses the barber!!! My day was so bad I was willing to tip any willing barber $100 just to make theirs better. But in return I got an even worst day. I waited 2 hours and within those hours multiple Hispanic men walked in and was favored before me. With this extreme prejudice it's unlucky that my Hispanic genes don't show.. if you aren't Hispanic be prepared to wait all day and have people cut in front of you so call in first. As I'm writing I'm still waiting and don't think I will be getting cut today. I was quite surprised at the harsh reviews. Sandra IS on the gabby side, but at least she's willing to hold up both ends of the conversation. And while she may talk your ear off, at least she won't cut it off - she actually gives really great haircuts. Downsides are: there can be a wait (just her), but she does a thorough job and the cost is pretty reasonable, and her hours can be a little erratic- she can close early without notice, but I guess that's a benefit of having your own business. read more

He's got a team of really great barbers that know how to do any fade, taper, shave, etc. He now manages the barber shop and it's a great spot to get a really good haircut.
