Good place to eat. Has a great selection of. Not your everyday meal. We started with ginger beef and Fritto Misto off the spring menu. Was an excellent way to start the meal. Shrimp and calamari were cooked to perfection. The ginger beef was sauced perfectly. My wife had the fish and chips fish was very delicate. I had the chicken lettuce wraps. Came here for family brunch based on Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. Although it's a non-descript, boxy hotel resto located in industrial Red Deer, the food at Boulevard is quite good and relatively inexpensive. As an example, my bro had the grilled chicken sandwich for $12.50, which comes with brie & caramelized onions. His comment was, "Earls could learn a thing or two!" Eggs were perfectly poached the old school way. My aunt loved her prime rib hash with beets, the dish looked beautiful as well. I had the goat cheese omelette with tomato relish, caramelized onions, shrimp and ham. Really good, served with just the right amount of little potato pan-fries and toast. Everyone loved their meals, service was prompt and friendly, and they let us hang out and chat until they had to close up at 3. Recommended for a good quality, reasonably priced brunch. Ambience is lacking, but otherwise it's a winner. read more

Went for the in-laws 45th anniversary, they had Prime Rib was good. The rest of us had steak good as well. Would of been a 4 star but there is no sound barrier between restaurant and the Hotel Pool entrance. Was very loud, at times hard to have a conversation. Boulevard is one of the better restaurants in RD, a glass barrier would bring it up. read more

This is mine and my wife's pre-theatre night spot. Favourite item on the menu has gotta be... PB&J wings! Those chicken wings are truly incredible. Mouthwatering. I really wish I'd of taken a picture of them for this review. Oh well next time I guess. Everything else we've ever ordered has never disappointed either. This place is totally worth it Damn....... I came here for a work get together as it was a midway point between Edmonton and Calgary. I would say the decor was classy and modern. The food was decent as we all ordered a variety of different dishes (there was nine of us). I ordered the Luau pizza/flatbread because it sounded quite interesting and I am always up for something different. I mean cashews, pineapple, papaya, and rootbeer bbq sauce on a pizza? Gotta try it. When it showed up in front of me, it smelled pretty good. I took a bite and surprisingly it was tasty. The reason why I gave it 3 stars was due to service. I felt that after our server dropped off the bread and balsamic vinegar, we didn't really see her again till the manager came by to tell us our food should not be much longer (this was probably a good 40 minute gap), They are also located inside the Holiday Inn so lots of parking. read more

This was the best experience and food I had with my family! My husband even got chicken skin!! We started with escargot and calamari! Well escargot to die for and calamari was my husband's favourite! My son and I found too lemony! Chef Emmanuel came to visit our table and explained how escargot was made in fresh bread bowl! He recommended the duck and prime rib! Prime rib was on special!! Melt in your mouth fantastic! Veggies were out of this world! Alberta beef!! Slow cooked, aged 30 days! Server was polite gracious! Santanina was her name!! Dessert was great too no complaints! Wow. Out of the way hotel restaurant lived up to its reviews. I had the pork belly and scallops. It was delicious. According to the bartender, the chef used to cook for the queen. I'm going back tomorrow for the Kobe steak. I will say that the ambience isn't particularly special. It's literally in the lobby of a hotel, so you can see kids running to the pool while eating. Love the food here. Atmosphere is a little hotel restaurant-ish for the quality of the food, but I still love it. The tuna taco appetizer is delicious, and my steak was tasty and cooked really well. OMG... Just finished dining. This was one of the best prime rib I have ever had. I started with an inferno Caesar ( yummy but not that spicy) ordered French onion soup and burgundy escargot ( very different from the classic baked escargot but oh so much better ) . Both appetizers were so tasty! One of the top 5 baked French onion soup I have ever had! The i got the 16oz prime rib ( they only have it on Friday and Saturday) and my husband got the 12 oz New York steak. My prime rib was sooooo tender, huge, cooked to perfection ( I asked for as Rare could be lol) with tons of au jus, great veggies, a huge baked potato and a Yorkshire pudding ... Words can't describe how good this prime rib was. I asked for extra horseradish on the side. I could eat that stuff all day everyday lol. I could barely finished my plate . I only got good reviews from my husbands New York steak. Came with a nice herb butter on it. Also cooked to perfection ( rare ) . Had a nice bottle of wine with supper and finished with the sous vide chocolate Cake. Needless to say I am ready to roll ... Everybody need to try this place ... Seriously Awesome... The food was good, granted the chicken could of actually been part of my Alfredo instead i resourced a breast cut into 3 big pieces on the side. The appetizer flatbread did seem to lack in flavor. Christmas dinner third year in a row. Disappointed. Last year my dinner arrived cold. My husband asked for medium prime rib and got bloody. The coconut macaroon arrived prior but it sure looked like sushi. The waitress insisted it was the macaroon. Well it really was sushi so she changed it out and dropped it off to another table. We decided to try again this year, as what we did taste was delicious. Bad mistake. My Spanish coffee had no chocolate in it, arrived all slopped over the sides and sticky because they filled it too full. And they had rimmed the cup with salt instead of sugar! The waitress insisted I try another one because "Now our real bartender is here and he is really good!" The salad looked beautiful but I'm sorry, I do know French cuisine is all about presentation, but three very thin slices of Apple surrounded by one grape cut into quarters, 4 slivers of celery ( no more than 1" altogether) and a few candied nuts does not a Waldorf salad make. And the Apple was brown. My husband again asked for medium. No kidding-very bloody. We asked for everything to be packed up to take home. The waitress tried to get us to stay and said they would cook it, but then what? I wait till it comes back to eat with my husband? Or I eat mine while he watches and then he gets his? The manager was not asked to come over but wished us a very Merry Christmas on the way out! read more
