We are home visiting my mom and I definitely need something to do with my toddler at times. Though I grew up here I've never had a kid here so I'm at a disadvantage! But I found Bounce has some open gym times and we jumped on it (oops, didn't actually mean the pun) this weekend. I think they have them regularly on the weekend and are having more during spring break. The place is great. There's a section that has about six trampolines and my kiddo loved that--her first time on a trampoline (and I'm definitely never going to have one of those in my backyard so she can enjoy it at a place like this). There were bars and rings, different heights for different kids, and other equipment for them to enjoy. Upstairs there was some stuff as well, and rumor had it there was a slide up there, but we didn't get up there. They open gym for different age groups; there's a preschool group for kids under 5 and then one for kids up to 12 or so. My daughter was probably the youngest here on this particular day but the other kids were careful of her and kind given she's at a different developmental stage as them. I bought a package of six open gym passes (it's six for the price of five) since they don't expire, so we'll either use them on this visit or carry some over to a future visit. They also have some merchandise, like leotards and stuff. After all, they are a gymnastics school. Kids must have their socks and shoes off when playing but adults can keep their socks on--adults have to be right there with their kids as they play--so there are some cubbies in one of the room to drop your stuff. Don't forget to put your shoes back on if you use the washroom though. The parking situation was confusing--even looking at the sign I still couldn't quite figure it out. I have a toddler and we usually go to another gymnastics place in town for play time, however, I was recently gifted a pass to try out the open gym time at Bounce. This is a great spot with so much stuff for littles to climb, push, bounce on, etc. and a big plus is that there are lots of trampolines so no turn waiting! The bathrooms are big and clean, and reception was nice when we came in. It's a little more expensive than the other place we frequent but Bounce does have more open gym times available so it's nice to have more options for most days of the week. read more

I came here with a toddler for the 3 and under open gym- he had a blast! It was great that there were only other young kids there. The little guy loved the trampolines, running around, climbing up foam blocks. I appreciated they only charged per kid instead of charging parents too. I will definitely come here again. read more

Probably because the famous "Parent's Night Out" It's Friday night, you want a bit of time away from your kids, well, this is the place. 6-10pm for and amazing amazing amazing price. My kids are involved with much more than that, they have great gymnastics programs for kids that just want to have fun in a safe, friendly environment. This place does get a bit chaotic between the time shifts, but just be patient, ask for help. The owner is very kind and willing to help. We are so glad Eugene has a place like this. read more

My daughter had a blast here at a birthday party. Overall, it seems like a great place for small kids to play but the place is too small for a conducive learning environment for young kids. The entrance is really tight. I felt like a sardine trying to walk out to the gym floor with my daughter. The teacher running the birthday party was attentive and sweet. She played with the kids but didn't actually help show them the sport of gymnastics. They didn't do any organized activity. Since the place was so small and all their equipment is right on top of the thing next to it, I worried my child was going to either get hurt or that someone close by was going to accidentally trample her. It's a fun place but I prefer somewhere else with a little more breathing room. read more

We visited on their camp day, but my daughter loved it! She said that when we move up to Eugene, she absolutely wants to go here for her gymnastics and circus arts! Everyone was very nice, and it was a really nice facility with lots to do. We will definitely be back! read more

I couldn't decide on the star rating because my son and niece love this place so much. For them, I will rate it a 4. But it gives me the heebie jeebies, so I would more honestly give it a 3. We go to toddler open gym and my son has a blast. I love that they provide a time for the smaller kids to play and not get trampled by big kids. I wont let him go on the trampolines toward the back though. They are kind of jankie. The upstairs has a pair of wooden gymnastic rings that are split and could easily cut a child's hands. I could go on, but basically the place is in dire need of an upgrade. Honestly, the kids don't care...only the overly paranoid mom such as myself. But, what a great rainy day place for the hyper child! I do recommend it. read more

Sometimes I take the kids I babysit (toddler age) to Bounce and they always have a blast. While this place could definitely use an upgrade and makeover, it really is a nice indoor spot for an hour of fun. The instructors are patient and very sweet to the kids, even when the kids are being difficult or cranky. They are always switching up the activities for the kids to do so it doesn't get too monotonous. They have cubbies for everyone to put their things and a large parking lot. Be careful though of the moms with the big vans. They will park as close to you as they can and never give you enough space to open your doors to get your kids back in the car. Park a few spots down and you won't have to deal with it! Other than that this place has classes for different age groups and is a good way to get your kids energy out while learning skills like balancing, rolls, jumping and even sharing! read more

Bounce's no school day camps are the best! My kids are always excited to go since there is such a variety of activities each day. Way more than just gymnastics... arts and crafts, walks, trampolines, and now my oldest can enjoy the circus activities as well. Brought my daughter here for open gym. So disorganized and very few staff members working with the number of kids there. I assisted my daughter to be able to get turns as kids were rude and unwilling to allow a patient 4 year old their turn. I will not be coming back. read more

As with any playground there's bound to be issues with children. However, the problem is usually the parents. Bounce Gymnastics seems to have more of their share of parents sitting in the back on their phones ignoring their children. As a grandparent I find this more offensive then the ill-mannered children. Bounce is a great place when you want to be involved with you child's play. If your not the type then stay home and let everyone else enjoy the place. read more

I have been taking my granddaughter there for 3 years. I like it because it is not so competitive, unless that is what you want. It has the best camps in town for the price. It is a great place to have your kids get care over school breaks. All my grandkids and nieces love this place for free time, classes or camps. As far as kids getting sick, wash their hand before and after. We have had no problems with illnesses from playing here. read more

I've taken my 3 year old daughter here 4 times. Twice for play time and twice for a birthday party. She's come down sick twice after visiting this place. Once with the stomach flu and once with fever. If she gets sick 50% of the time when visiting this place that's too much. They have a giant bottle of hand sanitizer at the door for everyone to use, but they don't disinfect equipment or clean the mats. Too germy for us we won't go back. read more

Bounce Gymnastics is fabulous. Our daughter has been going there since she was 18 months old (now a little older than 3) and she looks forward to her classes and free play Saturdays every week. The staff has found a way to make the classes disciplined and fun and we have great experiences every time we go. Highly recommended. read more

I have only good things to say about this place. The staff are always helpful and courteous to the parents and children, and there are so many types of trampolines, balance beams, swinging bars and even a rope swing. We usually come here during the winter when the playgrounds are wet and cold. Its a fun place and for five bucks a kid you can play for 1 hour and 15 minutes! read more

Well I showed up a few minutes after my wife to find a sign on the door saying GYM IS FULL. Ok so I'm a public facility maintenance manager so I know the fire code. The staff had the main entrance locked with a key and the key was behind the counter. So I informed the lady as polite as I could with that she cannot have the door locked with people inside because if there was a fire or any other emergency people could not exit. She kinda rolled her eyes at me and said, "we have windows" so I just told her to look above the door at the sign that says, "Door to remain unlocked during business hours" and she responded, "ok ill leave the key in the door." So not wanting to be complete ass I just walked over and unlocked the door while she was not looking. End result - nothing happened, which is great. My kids had fun but blind negligence scares me when you have kids involved. read more

My kids had fun here. But the low rating is because over the course of 9 months we have gone to Bounce Gymnastics twice, most recently last weekend, and BOTH TIMES our family members have presented with either pink eye or the adenovirus or both within a few days of being there. Coming from a family that has NEVER had pink eye in their lives, the coincidence is too big not to mention. I will never go there again, and I would advise everyone else to avoid it like the plague. They obviously have sanitation issues there for us to get the same illness 9 months apart. Bounce is the only thing in common with these illnesses. I realize we cannot shield our kids from everything, and this second time I had them wash their hands like crazy. Oh well, hard, painful lesson learned. You couldn't pay me to go back to this unsanitary place. read more

Please talk with your party host at the beginning of your party to let them know your wishes." "1 1/2 hours of activities with a staff member that will supervise and lead the children through various activities depending on the ages of the children and what they want to do" These are quotes from their website on what they supposedly provide for birthday parties. My daughter booked our granddaughter's fourth birthday party there, and it was awful. Both my daughter and I separately told the staff that we wanted organized activities and some instruction on what the kids could do during the party, and we were told that for parties of this age (four), they usually let kids do what they want. There was no mention of this when we booked the party and paid the deposit. The kids had no idea what to do, and there was no help at all--we each had to help the kids on the balance beams and rope swing, and there was a lot of stuff that we had no idea how to use. The staff was so unhelpful and uninvolved, they might as well not have even been there. This is not what we paid for, and I would advise anyone considering using Bounce for a party, to go elsewhere. read more

My eight year old had been a student of Bounce for nearly seven years. My five year old has grown up in this gym. Bounce is the very best place to learn the arts of Gymnastics, friendshiping, and team work. Their open gyms and camps are great fun too for the summertime and for days whe schools out. There have been days when my oldest has been at the gym for 8 hours in the day. She will do a camp, have her class and then want to stay for Parents night out...pno is the best ever!!!
