Zero stars from us. We agreed online to date and time, paid deposit, was emailed receipt. They called us a day early asking if we would do them a favor, help their drivers out, etcetera, they were so nice, and let them go ahead and set up. My softhearted wife agreed. We believe they did this because they knew it might rain the day of and that we might've canceled. They changed the date on the contract effectively robbing us of the opportunity to cancel. In trying to cancel and remedy the situation we were presented with the dates they wanted, not the date time we selected. Receptionists is rude, talks over you and won't hear it. Very pleased with how this experience turned out. Spent months researching bounce house companies in my area. Looking at who had insurance, clean equipment and was still affordable for our family on a tight budget. This is the first time we have ever been able to afford this sort of fun for our children. From the very beginning Blanca has made sure everything went smoothly. I had a small issue with their website when trying to order. I called the number and Blanca went through everything to do the order on the phone. She was polite and very professional. They arrived around 9:30 for a party that started at noon. They mentioned they had several parties that day and we would not be charged for the extra time we got to enjoy the bounce house. Set up was surprisingly quick! i mean i went inside to change my toddler and when i came back the ground was tarped and the castle was inflated. They use real heavy and deep metal stakes and anchoring rings. that shows me they are serious about safety of the kids and also making sure their equipment is not damaged. so thats a plus. i included photos of the stakes and some clips. to show the moms and dads like us that all the little things were accounted for. The bounce castle with slide we got had a clipped on cover/roof too. which was good for keeping the sun off the inside and making it hot. Thank you so much. My son really had the best birthday party ever. all the parents told us they had a great time and their kids had a blast. Every single guest stayed all day and into the night up until the end. they had so much fun. the price was just right for us to be able to afford. HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE WORKERS. Rude and irresponsible. They even argued with my husband. The company left MUD CHUNKS up and down our driveway and patio when they came to pick up the Bouncey and margarita machine when we weren't home (because they didn't call that they were coming and we had family in town). When we got home to this mess of massive mud chunks, we called and asked him to come back and clean up the mess. They arrived with an attitude, asking us what exactly we wanted them to do... we asked them to please clean up the mud that they left from another job. They said that the mud was ours even thought we don't have any mud: my husband even asked them to show us where we had mud... which they couldn't because we didn't anywhere on our property except what they left from another job. They had a major attitude and disrespected my husband by saying we didn't really spend that much money so they didn't need to help us. We spent over $600 with the company, so who exactly is she to decide if that's not " that much money" how rude and utterly unbelievable. Any other company would've picked up after themselves whether it was our mud, or not our mud. Another bounce company left mud last summer and they cleaned up with brooms and a blower which WAS mud from our backyard that time!. In addition to this horrible experience with Bounce Universe, BEFORE THE PARTY, they just dropped off the margarita machine without setting anything up.. they dumped the flavors and the cups and salt and table skirts in a bag. With all of the other things I need to do to get ready for a party, I don't need to be sitting at my table on YouTube trying to figure out how to start a margarita machine. This is really unprofessional so when I called they sent them back to set it up because THATS PART OF THEIR JOB'S DUTIES! I had already pretty much started up the machine though from YouTube videos. We rented a bounce house, tables and chairs. Everything arrived on time, in excellent condition, and was all set up by the employees who delivered it. Our interaction was minimal, but I don't think much was needed. They were timely, efficient, and handled themselves professionally. Our second experience was the rental of a water slide for our family to enjoy and again, we were pleased with the service. They're reliable and offer a variety of different items for rental. Very pleased with product and service! Website was difficult and didn't work for booking, but a phone call and all was taken care of. Rented the dunk tank for a group event and it was a hit with the kids getting to dunk the adults. Also a hit with the adults as it was 100 degrees outside! If you want to spend $400 on a bounce house and 12 chairs go for it .... it's RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the prices are outrageous, I got a jumper that was SOAKING wet ... all the kids got out all their clothes and socks got wet , as they jumped water came through the holes as the air came on , I was over charged BY so Much ! Just to upgrade to a combo , I was charged an additional $200 & drivers fee of $66 dollars and $30 In taxes and convenient fees and hidden charges .... the worst part was , the pickup at 6:00 on the dot as I still had guest they came knocking on my door ... normally it's a couple hours after even 30 Mins I had to have the guests remove the food and get up and I had to remove the cake from the candy table and clear them out and put them on my stove because we didn't sing happy birthday yet . It was 6 on the dot ... and worst of all I throw parties every weekend and this was a company I wanted to give a chance to . I will never come back here or recommend it . Did not show up on time. Refused to take the bounce house/water slide through our side yard which there was room for. They didn't want to risk hitting the gas line (which we understood and suggested other options). When they refused to go through the side yard because they might scratch our house/gas line, which they couldn't decide the reason, we suggested that they go through the garage and said we accepted any damage so no need to worry about scratching anything and another no. We had 5 grown men to help move it too and they refused. They said they didn't want us to get hurt, but had 2 older men moving it in the first place. Not only did they take our deposit (which was expected and that's ok because travel time etc) they will not refund us for the other $375 even though they never even attempted to take it out of the truck and their response was 'sorry... we don't give refunds.' Tried to remedy the problem by suggesting that they put it in our driveway (which would be sticking out into the street) which would be very unsafe for our children...as cars drive down the street. Wildly unprofessional through this entire process. You never gave me what we paid for so please give us our money back. read more

They cancelled my contract four days before my kids' 5th birthday because they stated that they needed 5 feet to enter the backyard instead of the standard 3 feet of the gate. TERRIBLE!!!! They are the worst. Never have I encountered such wicked business owners. Messed up my order, yelled and over talked me twice and then hung up the phone in my face today. Only want to refund $50 out of a $300 order for replacements chairs and tables last minute that look like that. Then Blanca took four days to respond to me and hung up in my face because she had "other customers calling to book." Imagine ordering tables and chairs but being "replacements" and then show up almost 3 hours after delivery time (the event had started mind you). Guests clothes got stained and then They had to help us set up since the delivery was so late. They won't be in business long with this kind of behavior. Can't be moral or upstanding people to continue to tell me how they are losing money on this yet I haven't seen a dime refunded back. This is a tough company to work with. I attempted to use them for a church event but were unable to due to cooler weather forcing the event indoors and their insurance not meeting the school/church requirements. They do have quite a bit of options, which is great. But their refund policy is bananas. You have to put down a deposit which I understand is common practice. I cancelled the rental within 24 hours of originally contacting Bounce Universe but they refused to refund my deposit due to weather. To make a long story short, I had to pay a large sum of money out of my pocket for a rental that the kids were not able to enjoy. I would have hoped that they would have understood and worked with me to receive my deposit. But instead, they received a sizable amount of money for providing zero service. read more
