We had about 40 people and could have had more. We were able to serve food and drinks and also had a slide show of our moms life. They also had a microphone with a speaker so that people could talk about their memories with our mom and we could play our mom's favorite songs. Ample parking even with potholes to deal with. I think the owners of the rental units are responsible for paving the property. Some serious repaving is desperately needed. I'll be back to visit the other spots because of their uniqueness! The decorations were wonderful! I think they were provided by the persons that booked the unit. They also had servers for food. However, I think that too was booked via the people that rented the venue. The napkins, which were cloth, were dirty and limp. Ugh! Those need to be replaced. Those were quite objectionably dirty! Same with the white table cloths. (Fake)flower arrangements were nice. They matched the decor for this setting. Chairs need serious updating/replacement or a good scrubbing. Bathrooms were clean and the toilets flushed. Lack of toilet paper was limited. As was hot water and soap. I was a guest. Would I rent here? Yes I would, if the price was right. From the very beginning, Luis Luna, the venue manager, was incredibly attentive, professional, and kind. Leading up to the event, he was always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and make sure every detail was covered. The entire planning process felt so much less stressful because of his support. The night of the event, Luis went above and beyond. He was present, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Any time we needed something, he and his staff were right there, ready to help without hesitation. His team was just as amazing--friendly, welcoming, and truly made us and all of our guests feel comfortable and taken care of. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience they provide, and it shows in every detail. This celebration would not have been the same without their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to step in whenever needed. We are beyond grateful and would 1000% recommend Slate Venue at II Creek to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an incredible team behind it.

However, for our event we opted to cater from another location, but we took the rest of their offers. Since they frequently do weddings, they have a set up Brides' and Grooms' room in the back. It's a perfect spot for hosts to stash their valuables, change of clothes/shoes, and any other miscellaneous things you'd like. Highly recommend coming here. My only recommendation - make sure you get a couple of great photographers. Your event will be absolutely stunning and I assure you that you'll be really upset if all the photos you have are selfies from your cell phone or ones that your guests take. You're required to use caterers off their list. I think the list had about 6-7 on it. The room they offer for weddings inside is a hallway. Literally a hallway. It's perfect for an October wedding! The woman who showed us the venue spent maybe ten minutes with us. We felt a little rushed. But then again it was 7pm so maybe she was ready to go home. They book up pretty quick so you'll want to schedule your date here way in advance. Overall a cute place to have a wedding. Therefore she showed a lack of attention to detail 2) She stated she was in a hurry because she was showing 2 groups at the same time. During our tour she told us we were the last group and there was no one here so we were free to wander around wherever. We never saw a second group or couple looking around. 3) She was confused by my comment about lack of parking. Due to her lack of information and not telling us they apparently have a second parking lot, how were we to know there was additional parking elsewhere other than the one small lot we saw when we pulled in? 4) Regarding the head table. During our tour she told us that's where they put the head table. There was no comment about it being able to be elsewhere. She said that's where it will be set up for your event so it didn't even sound negotiable. My review still stands.
