I learned that I enjoy apres ski better It's the only place I skied in the Berks so I have nothing to compare to, but I love it. Staff is so friendly. Everything can be booked online. The ski boots I rented looked brand new. The bunny slope is nice n magic carpet is nice too. I will definitely come back n take a lesson so I'm needing to be rescued by the ski patrol ‍. While heading to visit my folks in nearby Lenox for Christmas, I brought my snowboard just in case I had time. After getting off the highway, I noticed the beautiful Bousquet Mountain was open. I pulled in and to my delight, noticed that they were actually open, as was the tuning shop. Even though they were 1 minute away from closing, the kind gentleman there took a look at my board, gave me a price estimate and took it in for repair. I'll be picking it up in a few days once complete and I'm super excited to have my board tuned up ready to go for the fresh pow!!! read more

My friends and I went to the 1st Annual Boosquet Halloween Party. The place had plenty of convenient parking. The inside was spookily decorated. There was a great cover band playing all the favorites from the 80's and 90's. We took to the dance floor with all the great tunes. There were tasty hot d'oeuvres including crab cake balls and edamame pot stickers. Outside they had a fire entertainer. A great time was had by all. read more

Sure, Bousquet might not have the biggest vertical or newest chairlifts in the Berkshires, but they make up for it with their awesome staff, learner friendly terrain, and overall coziness. With two small kids in tow (one of whom is enjoying her very first season on skis!) it's refreshing to be able to park and walk ~50 feet to the lodge. All skier services are housed in their newly renovated lodge which removes the guesswork and keeps the walking (or ski boot clunking) to a minimum. There's also a solid sit-down restaurant upstairs offering great views of the mountain and skiers. Compared to other mountains in the area, Bousquet offers the cheapest ski rentals for those needing equipment. And even though they don't discount for multi-day rentals, they do allow you to keep your equipment from one day into the next so you don't have to wait on line more than once. Since Bousquet offers night skiing on certain days, the rental shop stays open, so you can stop in late afternoon/evening to rent for the next day if you want to avoid the morning rush and head straight to the lift the next morning. As a related side note, I find it generally odd that there are no off-mountain ski shops in the Berkshires that offer daily equipment rentals. So, whether you're skiing Bousquet, Jiminy Peak, Catamount, Butternut, Otis Ridge, or any other area mountain, your only option is renting on-mountain if you need equipment. So if you're one of those people, I'd still recommend Bosquet for rentals even if you're not skiing there since their rates are the lowest. read more

It really would be helpful if your damn website was accurate about operating hours. According to what I see, you opened today (2.28) at 8 AM. When I drove over there 10:30 AM, it was clear you were not close to open and there was no one there to talk to. Just really sloppy and discouraging stuff. My daughter was just married at Bousquet's yesterday. The venue was just perfect. Caroline Roche-Pratt, the event coordinator was a dream to deal with! She was attentive, professional and easily accessible with any questions that came up. And she's also, just really nice!! She made sure that everything ran smoothly.....and smoothly it did. It was beautiful from start to finish, thanks to her and her team. Ryan, the chef/caterer at Drifters was incredible as well. His food was so beautifully presented, just as he promised it would be. It was hot an delicious. Our family and guests were so pleased with Ryan's food. Ryan was also amazing to deal with! I explained to him, what we were interested in and he came up with a menu that was absolutely perfect. The wait staff and the bartender were so friendly and helpful. We're very, very happy that we chose Bousquet's as our wedding venue. If you're even considering having an event there, I would say.....absolutely do it. You will not be disappointed. Last weekend, my cousins and I went for snow tubing. Our reservation was from 3-430. We showed up within the reservation, but we did call ahead and let them know we were running late. They let us know that it was okay, and that last tubing call was 430. On our ticket, it stated to go to guest services and fill out a waiver if you didn't have one pre printed. There was nobody at guest services, but there were people in the booths outside. The sign said they were closed, but the workers were sitting; therefore my cousin and I decided to ask if they knew where we should be going. We didn't expect them to assist us, as the sign said closed. But, we had no idea where to go to get our tickets printed; so we asked them if they knew where we should go for further assistance. Immediately, one of the women opened the window, and spoke to us disgustingly. She immediately had an aggressive tone and manner, before even saying hello. She continued to speak in a disgusting, unprofessional, rude manner to my cousins and I. Is this how we speak to new customers here ? Is this how she speaks to strangers ? After her berating us, we waited near guest services to wait for my cousin to leave the bathroom. This woman then followed us out of the booth and continued to yell and scream; in an attempt to "apologize," she then threatened to kick us out. I beg of anyone who works there to check the cameras as we did not raise our voice at her AT ALL. This altercation was completely unfounded and unprovoked. I was and still am in shock that people like this are allowed to work frontline with customers. It appeared she wanted a reaction out of us and was upset that we would not give her the reaction she wanted. After this, I have REPEATEDLY attempted to call this establishment and have left voice messages, yet the admin team refuses to return my calls. The only saving grace here is the wonderful group down at the tubing raft area, who were very nice and polite. Bousquet Mountain DO BETTER ! read more

Came here for an Albert Cummings Concert. Balcony seating was excellent. Food was fantastic. Drinks were also great. My only complaint was the slow service, but it was a very busy night with new staff, and apparently not enough servers. I'll be back for the food though! read more

If you like paying $90 to stand with 75 other people in line to tube, get in 3 runs and watch a 2 confused teens manage the whole experience this is for you! When I suggested to management it was oversold - they said well, thanks for your feedback. Clearly customers are in abundance here. They've done a great job in bringing Bousquet back to life! But I have to give 3/5 stars as the Covid restroom is just inexcusably foul. There was actual stool on the floor, only 1 out of 5 stalls in the women's room were not clogged with stool and toilet paper - and only 1 out of 2 sinks functions. And instead of putting paper towels on the wall containers there was one giant, soggy wet roll for everyone to touch and rip a wet piece off of. I believe they can afford to pay someone to check in once in a while on the bathroom conditions. The floor was also so slick and soaked, and everyone was cramming into this tiny bathroom trailer. My other feedback is that it's dangerous at the top of the blue chair getting off with people sitting and loitering right where you get off the ramp and people also crossing from above - despite the orange partition and them easily being able to go around this area. They choose to take this route and seem completely oblivious to people coming off the chair. I would strongly encourage bringing that orange partition down further to close this pathway off so skiers can easily cross above or below the ramp and not pose hazards to children and newer skiers coming off the chair. read more

I can't write enough about Ski Bousquet. While it is certainly not big mountain skiing, it is a wonderful experience. What they lack in high speed quad lifts they make up for with service and old days good times. My wife and children had a lesson with Cindy who was absolutely amazing. They loved her and were able to ski on their own after an hour with her. The folks working at the ski school desk, snack bar and bar are all super nice too. Great day. Great experience. I can't sing the praises of bousquet enough. This place is a gem. Did you know the original owner invented the rope tow in the 30's? The history of skiing owes so much to bousquet. I think everyone should visit just to see where the engineering of skiing started! Beyond that, bousquet is a lovely family resort with affordable prices and manageable slopes that are perfect for any level. The instructors who give lessons are AWESOME! They will take you from novice to confident skier in no time! Ski patrol is so helpful and great at their job! Lift operators will give you advice and congratulate you on boarding the lift correctly- where do you get small interactions like that anymore at the big ski resorts? I hope bousquet stays here forever. It will always have a special place in my heart and I can't wait to share it with my kids someday!!! read more

I came here a little bit ago for snow-tubing, and I personally didn't enjoy it. The tubes were a little gross and misshappen, and they were tortuously slow. However, the people managing the tuning area were very nice. Also, there was a carpet lift up the hill and it was a much better alternative to walking up the hill, despite it being tortuously slow as well. This hill is more geared towards younger kids, with it not being steep, and the childeren I did see going down looked like they were having a blast. I wouldn't go again or reccommend it to my friends. The reason I'm not giving it a bad rating is because I never have actually snowboarded there, so who am I to judge the rest of the mountain on just the tubing part of it. read more

This is a rating for the tubing. When you arrive, a staff member shares the rules with you - that takes a while. Then, they make everyone go down the lanes together, so it is very slow. Other mountains let people go down at their own pace, but here you have to wait, and they send 8 people down at once. It's also a ridiculous precaution when you can't even make it to the bottom of the hill. The tubes look old and they are half-deflated. It's really hard to make it to the bottom of the lane. . . I made it once or twice, but every other time, the tubes slow down, so you're stuck in the middle of the slope, and you have to walk down. It sucked, and it was super-disappointing because you pay a fair amount for a family of 4, and since I'm not a snowboarder like the rest of my family, this was what I was most looking forward to. I didn't find the staff members to be nice or helpful - they were not monitoring the top or bottom of the magic carpet, so kids and adults were having a hard time getting on or off. The staff would primarily stand at the top of the mountain, but they never gave people a push or a spin, like they will at other mountains, and no one was at the bottom, which is where they needed to be - to help the slowpokes up and out of their lanes, which is key because no one else can go unless the lanes are clear. I also witnessed a kid getting stuck in the middle of the slope, and the staff member just screaming at him from the bottom. He was little and couldn't manage what the staff member was screaming at him to do. Also, there aren't any refreshments close to the tubing area - you have to walk a distance to the lodge, wait in a VERY long line, and pay a lot, so we just left early. Won't be back for tubing! read more

I don't ski. In the wintertime, Bousquet is a small, downhill ski slope, more for school field trips and those occasional skiers who only only ski out of winter boredom. Summertime is a whole 'nother story! Bousquet gets transformed into a crazy, fun world! Mini-golf, go-karts, waterslides, and that really dangerous thing where you ride a dune buggy looking thingy down a rocky mountainside. Not for me! Before I got my own table, I used to come here for their two ping pong tables that are FREE TO USE! yup, free! You can just walk in off the street, head straight to the lodge and pick up a paddle and play. Plus, as an adult, you can totally dominate as most of the other players are eight years old. There is a snack counter at Bosquets that serves up frozen pizza bites, pop tarts, popsicles and any other food kids crave. They'd probably serve a poptart ice cream sundae with broken up pieces of poptarts, lucky charms, and mini snickers bars on top of chocolate eruption ice cream. Would never eat here in a million years cause of all the mice that scurry around, you can see them with your own two eyes. If the goonies had a hang-out, it would be Bousquet. read more

It's a small mountain but I loved it here! Really cozy with a fire pit and a well stocked bar. Twilight is only $20, on Thursdays its $10!! Can't beat that price, it's cray. My bindings broke after the fourth run so I was forced to go to the bar for mulled wine and spiked hot apple cider untll I browned out. read more

Taking a ski lesson with Jeff was the highlight of our trip! He was patient, helpful and we truly learned at our own pace. The beginner area was a nice safe space to learn how to ski. The drifter green trail was a bit too challenging for us, but other than wishing there was a longer beginner area, we had a great time. We went to Bousquet for the first time in the summer and WOW! We had no idea there were so many great attractions - our kids really loved the shallow wading pool and water slides. I love that there are two separate pools with water slides (one for the big kids and one for the toddlers). My 3 and 5 year old had a blast. It was also very easy because they have shaded tables next to the pool and a cafeteria with chicken fingers, fries, and sweet treats. My kids would not leave the pool and slides but we plan to return many times to try the go karts, bounce house, and put put! Love this small town gem that offers something different for families. Bousquet used to be a great place for locals to go, learn the ropes and have a great time without breaking the bank. Now, they are pricing as if they are a "ski-resort" and yet they have not improved the place one bit. It's pretty sad, but even their cheapest lift ticket left me feeling ripped off. I came late on a Friday night with my two children (11 & 13) so they could get some practice in. We paid $20 each. So I paid $60 and most of the night was spent on the too small bunny hill, with only 2 horrible runs down drifter. The bunny hill was too small to challenge them, but drifter is too big a jump from this tiny pimple of a learning area. My daughter was freaking out and the experience was horrible. She is ready for something bigger, but it was just too intimidating. (She did great else-where so I know it wasn't her skill level) The lodge? If you can call it that. It's great for kids who want to go crazy and not have any adults in site. No-one over 16 could sit in there with any dignity. It was a free-for-all, and I'm not sure why they bother having the fireplace lit? It has plexi-glass or something in front of it, probably to keep the kids from roasting each other since no-one seems to be watching, supervising, or keeping anything under control. I couldn't sit down with my kids after the horrid skiing experience and smooth it over in there with hot cocoa. We ended up driving to Dunk-N-Donuts...it had a better atmosphere...hands down. They have a free ski/board check in, and I think there is good reason for it! The snow was OK...but only because we had a great winter this year and it has snowed a lot. They still seem to be able to turn great pow into ice with that horrid grooming equipment. Oh...and the smell!! What WAS that? Over by the bunny hill all the way out to the parking lot it smells like sewer! Nasty. Just what I needed to top off the whole experience. We found two other ski areas nearby with better beginner skiing. One costs very slightly more $26/ person but it's worth paying for the better learning conditions, atmosphere, and quite frankly a nicer crowd. The other is waaay less - only $12/ person and it's just right! It's what Bousquet USED to be. Simple, and about the skiing. Better people, better price, and great great learning area! My advice? To Bousquet: Clean up your act. 1. fix the smell 2. control the snow-rats and 3. if your gonna price it like it's a resort it better look the part....so price it better or fix it up. What it was worth? $10-12 each would have been reasonable, but I would have still felt the smell and the crazy kids were too out of hand. To would-be skiers: If your under 16...this could be your heaven. Adults beware! Unless you are coming alone (no kids in tow) and can chill in the bar don't bother. There are plenty of other mountains in the area where you will have a much much better time. Oh...and we did try them one more time after this when they had the special on the radio for a $10 "mid-week" lift ticket. It turned out by "mid-week" they really mean Monday - Friday during the DAY ONLY. I wasn't about to spend $20/person for the bunny hill and maybe one run down Drifter again. So we didn't ski there...we turned and drove out to a better place, and we won't be back. read more

What Bousquet lacks in vertical drop it makes up in variety, at least it usually does. As someone who has skied here somewhere between 800-1000 times, I think I can offer my opinion. My first time skiing here was in 1988, some of the people that used to hang around here/work here back then still do. Bousquet might not have a detachable lift or padding on any of the lift towers/snow making equipment, but it is a good fun place to go with friends and enjoy yourself. The prices have slowly climbed and the days of day/night tickets without that BS about weekends or holidays is now a thing of the past, but it still is pretty reasonable. This place is especially ideal for beginners or younger kids that want to spend most of their time in the park. I usually go from top to bottom in less than 2 minutes, so it really doesn't provide that much as far as length of runs. Their park used to have a lot more larger tabletops and other jumps, but now its devoted to a lot of rails and whatnot... boo to that. It still is a small mountain, but their snowmaking coverage is usually decent and night skiing has about the same number of trails as day skiing. Since I've gotten older its lost some charm because I take the runs too quickly, but I still think of and remember this place as a good value and friendly locally owned/operated resort. *Summer has some fun stuff too read more

5 stars because I had a great time and nothing to compare it to. I'd never been skiing before so as far as I know it could be the best ski joint on earth. What drew us to it were 1) it was really close to the the Yankee Inn where we were staying (nice place) and 2) they have a great beginner's package. For about $65/person you get a day pass for the bunny slope, your boot/ski rental AND a 1 hour group lesson. We got there first thing (9am) and ended up being the only people in our group. If you get Al, you're very lucky. He was great! He really knows his stuff and has a great sense of humor. You end up really feeling at ease while you're learning what you need to know. An hour with him and I went from never having even touched a pair of skis and terrified to feeling confident enough to upgrade (you can upgrade the beginner's package and change your bunny pass to full access for only $10) and try their easiest green slope. I did pretty good too. Where Al really gets points, though, is that he caught sight of us coming off the green slope, gave me a thumbs up and said he was proud of me. Chuckle if you want, but it made my whole day. We will definitely be back. Don't know much about the rest of the place. Saw a lot of trails, people were jumping things on one, there's snow tubing, the lodge is nice and warm, inexpensive food, video games, nice place. Oh, when you're done, go down the road to Arizona Pizza. When you show them your Bousquet lift ticket, you get a 15% discount. Food's good too. :) read more

Yep the base area is pretty run down, yep you'd better bring your own food because the cafe food stinks, yep there are no high speed quads to be seen. But what you do get is no lift lines, a great ski school with a variety of programs, and a nice terrain park for such a small mountain. Ski Bousquet is great for what it is...namely a smallish resort relatively close to NYC that caters to families. read more

This review only pertains to my experience disc golfing. We were greeted by an exceptionally cheerful ticket attendant. It was so refreshing to see someone enjoy their job like she did! Prices were extremely reasonable. Course is well maintained, although a little more signage would be helpful on a couple of the holes where the basket isn't visible from the tee. Met another employee on the way out (after closing hours) who took the time to stop and ask us about our round and to let us use the restrooms before locking up. Great experience! read more

Brought my daughter to go tubing. I'm not sure if it was busier than usual or they just didn't know how to manage the line, but we waited in line to pay for about 20 minutes, then once we got to the front to pay they gave us a form to fill out. I would suggest they give the people waiting in line the form ahead of time to move it along quicker. THEN we paid $18 each to go tubing and the tubes were barely moving. The snow was wet, so it wasn't very fast... at all. So then we decided after only 2 trips on the tubes, since the snow was slow, maybe we should try skiing instead. I asked if I could apply the cost of the tubes to the lesson which they shut down immediately. "No refunds." I explained that I didn't want a refund but just an exchange... "Nope." OK, so instead of getting all upset and ruining our vacation, I just sucked it up and I paid another $150 for 2 beginners packages. We waited once again in another line to get our boots, then in another line to get our skis. They were out of poles. When we got outside, my daughter's skis didn't fit her boots, so we had to bring them back in and waited again to get the skis adjusted. We were 10 minutes late for our lesson, which is not bad considering all of the waiting in lines. We did end up having a good time, but this place is not very organized and the folks taking payment were actually pretty rude. I think I'll try another place next time. read more

Bousquet is a small, family run mountain that has a long history in Berkshire County, and an important history in skiing. Bousquet was the first ski mountain in the country to offer night skiing. For years, this mountain has been a baby sitter and teacher to the area's youth. It is extremely kid friendly, and very affordable. Lift tickets are from $20-$25. When it snows, Bousquet is amazing. We have hit fresh powder hours after a storm. There's nothing like bombing ten runs and sitting down in the very rustic and comforting bar with a cold Shabadoo in front of the warm fire. We go here for the local, friendly, and small ski area experience. Bousquet IS your neighborhood ski area, in a time when these small mountains are finding it difficult to continue running. Please support this mountain! See the beauty in it, ask locals about it's secrets, and if you don't like it, go pay $70 at Jiminy. read more

Had a Birthday party for my twins there. They basically took my $200 and said good luck! I asked the owner/manager to show me where I could set up, and she said "she normally wouldn't do that" pointed her finger said "over there" NOT HELPFUL at all. When the kids wanted to use their "tickets" for the trampoline there was no one there manning it. Had to go find someone to help. A little customer service would have been nice. read more

Just finished our first day at Bousquet. Six of us rented equipment and purchased carpet tickets (bunny slope lift) $300 plus 60 bucks in the cafe. The equipment was fine and the staff friendly. The cafe food wasn't so good but it's what you'd expect at a ski Cafe. Our big complaint and the reason for the low rating is the operation of the carpet lift. It was constantly stopping even when few riders were aboard. Then it would often take a long time to start up again. We spent an unacceptable amount of time on the lift often having to walk up the lifts to pick up the pace. We did not feel we had our days worth of skiing as a result. I shared this with the staff who directed me to Cindy. Cindy was unsympathetic to our feelings on our days worth. She responded "I can tell the maintenance guy. That's the best that I can do." I certainly feel she could have done more. Tomorrow we will have a second day at Bousquet as we are already here. Some of us will move on to the chair lift. Those of us who planned another day on the bunny slope will instead go to the outlet. As a grouo we wont be coming back. That's a loss of 150 bucks and about $30 at the cafe for Bousquet on this trip alone. Certainly, we won't be coming back. Cindy, that's the best we can do. read more
