    Top of Bousquet Ski Area.

Terrific skiing. Great snow! Wonderful ski school! Beautiful new lodge! Family friendly!

    Awesome day!

I can't write enough about Ski Bousquet. While it is certainly not big mountain skiing, it is a wonderful experience. What they lack in high speed quad lifts they make up for with service and old days good times. My wife and children had a lesson with Cindy who was absolutely amazing. They loved her and were able to ski on their own after an hour with her. The folks working at the ski school desk, snack bar and bar are all super nice too. Great day. Great experience. We will be back.

    $20 twilight!

It's a small mountain but I loved it here! Really cozy with a fire pit and a well stocked bar. Twilight is only $20, on Thursdays its $10!! Can't beat that price, it's cray. My bindings broke after the fourth run so I was forced to go to the bar for mulled wine and spiked hot apple cider untll I browned out.

The mountain is not too small and not too large so perfect for families with kids. Affordable to actually stay on the mountain which is a must with little ones. Christiansens is a solid restaurant with good food and great beer with the perfect ski mountain atmosphere. The snowmaking team (Team Snowmagedon) knows what they are doing. While other mountains north or nearby are struggling, Jiminy has the good snow. They do well to combat the elements or rain or warmer weather. We always have a great time!!

No discount for Wyndham owners Unfortunately, many trails were closed the night we went, leaving limited skiing options. To be fair, this was likely due to the conditions at the time. The mountain itself is decent , and it's incredibly convenient if you're staying at the Wyndham. Being a ski-in/ski-out resort with access to ski lockers is a big perk, making it a solid choice for Wyndham guests. However, for the cost and limited trail availability, it might not be the best value if you're coming from elsewhere. One thing to note: even if you buy your tickets online , you still have to go to the ticket counter to pick up your RFID badge. This felt inconvenient, especially since we were staying at the Wyndham and wanted to ski on directly from the resort. Overall, it's worth it for convenience, but there's room for improvement.

To make matters worse, during the 2.5-hour lesson there was a 30-minute snack break -- which is a huge chunk of time when you're paying that much. It felt like a complete waste of both time and money. At least our son, who is an intermediate skier, got a couple of runs in. However, our friend's daughter was sent to the bunny slope, where she was basically just pushed down the hill by teenagers wearing sneakers. I don't understand how you're supposed to teach someone to ski if you're not even on skis yourself. Very disappointing experience, especially for the price.

3 Stars is fair for my first visit…read more Arrived little before 8:30 Presidents Day and as busy as it already was I still got decent parking. Walking up the steps was difficult with my ski boots, wish I snapped a picture but the stairs were poorly shoveled. The walkway was also poorly maintained filled with sugar snow, and it had not snowed in some time. Feel bad for anyone with a disability, would make it very difficult for them and their caretaker. I jumped into the small line to get my ticket outside. Only one window was open which was odd for a holiday. Guessing a manager walked over and told a family a couple people in front of me that there were ticket windows inside too. The lady and her kid who were in front of me soon followed as the family at the ticket window were having difficulty, I followed in as well. It's a tight space to begin with and no clear structure to where the line is. Some lady came from the lodge portion of the building and cut everyone which was rude of her. When I was next in line the same lady manager started yelling at everyone in line about how the line starts outside and so on. Completely threw my vibe of the place in a negative direction. I ignored her as she kept going on and handed the ticket man my Indi Pass and a $10 bill for the $5 RFID card needed. Super quick transaction and I was on my way. Lets talk about the mountain now. I enjoyed the terrain, there was plenty of snowpack which by 10:30 started getting icy. The sun was not out so flat light conditions which made skiing their double blacks on the main face a little more challenging. But absolutely loved the difficulty of those two runs. Wanted to zoom down them but with the flat light and not the sharpest of edges I played it safe. Stayed off the greens of the skiers right, looked for some woods to play in but really didn't have much in the way of them. Took 7 runs and called it a morning. Another thing that bothered me was their idea of where chairlift cans should go when empty. Most mountains have a trash can at the top where people can discard their empties there. Just before the last pole there was a large bin where I am assuming the mountain is promoting throw your empties here. I find it to be poorly thought out as the bin was full and there was trash all over the place. One gust of wind is blowing it all over the mountain which defeats the purpose of. For what it was I enjoyed the people I rode on the lift with, exploring a new mountain, and getting another day under my belt this season.

When you drive in to the resort, the Aerial Adventure park is visible right away. When I first saw it, it seemed smaller than I expected and I thought we would be done in a flash. Let me assure you, the aerial adventure course is a LOT more complex than it looks and it was fun and challenging for all of us, from teens to older adults. There are two levels to the course - first you do the lower level and then if you want to try the more challenging higher level you move on to that. Both levels are included in your ticket. Each section of the course is unique: some have zip lines, there are some climbing sections to get from one point to another, some have balance activities, and some rely on strength and ingenuity. Everyone wears a harness, so you are always safe (I did end up dangling a few times and was grateful for the harness!). Staff here is awesome and they train you before you go up into the course. The Mountain Coaster is also fun, although when we went around noon on a summer Friday, we had to wait in line for about 45 minutes to get on. I am a scaredy cat when it comes to roller coasters, but I LOVED the Mountain Coaster, where I go to zip down a mountain surrounded by trees and nature, and I could control the speed. I would love to do this again, but would plan to go earlier in the morning to hopefully avoid the crowds.

Check in was smooth and front desk staff very helpful and ready to answer questions. With a 4:00pm check in time on Sunday; we threw our stuff into the room and ventured out to find a place for dinner. Upon our return to the room, we were very pleased with the accommodations. Our master bedroom had a king bed, ample pillows and a nicely appointed 2 person Jacuzzi tub. The shower and toilet was separated by a door. The vanity was large and I would've appreciated a double sink; but we made due. The kitchen and dining, living room area was open floor plan and the couch was not comfortable but ultimately we weren't actually watching alot of TV. All the rooms had TVs with a good compliment of cable channels. Second bedroom had two full size beds that were more than suitable for my guests. Their bathroom was also acceptable. My only gripes were that the Quisinart coffee maker seriously took 30 minutes to brew coffee (it's quicker to go to the lobby and get their free coffee in the morning!), the oversized light above dining table should be on a dimmer switch (as I felt like I was being interrogated on Law&Order sitting under it) and the lightswitch in our room turned on both the ceiling fixture AND the vanity lights (too much light!) and the safety locks on the bedroom window were annoying because I could only open it 3 inches at night. I was also disappointed that the mountain coaster and Alpine slide (and other rides) at the neighboring Jiminy Peak were not in operation during the week (weekends only this time of year) but that has no bearing on Club Wyndham. We enjoyed the on site amenities; utilized the Sauna every morning during our stay, the Indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis. I also want to commend one employee in particular; Aaron. We had sat outside the first night by the fire pit (to enjoy some cigars) and he stopped by to assist us in starting the fire. We conversed with him and he genuinely appreciated his job and the opportunity with Wyndham. He was a very generous young man and a gentle, kind soul. Made that part of our evening even more enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back to Bentley Brook again. It was not perfect, but 4 of us stayed comfortably and we easily could have hosted 4 others although maybe less comfortably. Check-in and service we received were great. We called twice before coming, one call was better (a middle aged male I think) and one was less than optimistic (younger female) but the person did seem to warn us that they would try to get is to our unit by the 4pm check in time. Honestly, I don't fault someone setting expectations correctly so I didn't hold this against them-I prefer truth and by being a little concerned maybe that made me pleasantly surprised when they were prepared to let us in before 4pm (but we did arrive later than we would have had the lady not warned us). Also noteworthy - every conversation we had with guest services were very pleasant and there was ALWAYS someone or multiple people at the desk. This was in early to mid May just to give you context. The unit itself was well appointed if a little tired in some places (couch was a bit dated as were some of the dinning room chairs) but the kitch and baths seemed good, save low water pressure and hot water taking a bit to come up as someone else mentioned. Heating unit was good, never tried the A/C. All the locks, cable/TV, stoves, etc. worked flawlessly (minus a crack in a carafe that must have been there prior to our arrival), we were even able to hook up a streaming stick in one of the units (not the other because of the model of the TV) which helped us enjoy the unit a lot in the evenings. The Pool and Jacuzzi were fantastic. The temp of the Jacuzzi was warm-like it should be-so I do recommend either getting out as advised after 20-30 mins or going into the pool to cool off a bit before going back. I'm sure the timing of our visit was key but our party used the facilities several times before anyone else were using them-I wouldn't expect this but we tried to go at dinner time to have some time to ourselves and we got lucky every time...and that worked well as we are late eaters. The location we are use to because we have stayed down the road at the now closed Bentley Brook (which we loved) and love the location of the resort in Hancock. Due note, for almost anything you have a 15-30 minute drive to Pittsfield, Williamstown, etc. on the East Side of the mountain the place is nesteld or Stephenstown and New Lebanon to the West/Southwest. We have stayed in the Berkshires a lot over the years and really like this quiet area. We tend to take road trips on nice weather days and have been virtually every direction in a circe about 1.5 hours. Other than the obvious close towns of Williamstown, North Adams, Pittsfield, Lenox and New Lebanon (which has a few close decent/good restauants) we recommend day trips to Albany, Great Barrington, Bennington VT and Hudson/Catskill NY. Saratoga and Lake George are a little farther and would require a long day but are doable from there if you are ambitious. Def would stay here again in a few years...but we have been to the Berkshires in most seasons and are good on it now for a bit. Hope this helps someone make the decision.
